The show interviews and reports on some of the most promising rookie voice actors, to understand the behind-the-scenes stories of their entry into the industry, and their prospects for the future. In the latest issue of the "Rookie Voice Actor Guide", we will introduce Yui Watanabe, who has performed well in works such as "30-year-old health sports" (macaron), "Women's High Tennis Club" (Yurimo Oshimoto), and "Idol Master MILLIONLIVE" (Yokotsu Xu).

Q: How did you feel about the shooting?

Watanabe: Even before the shooting, I said, "It's already cloudy, so let's shoot while there's still sun!" "But it started raining for 10 minutes. It makes you think, "I can't hide from what I should have come" (laughs).

Q: What do you mean by "sure enough"?

Watanabe: I'm a woman who is very easy to provoke rain (rain girl)! Every time I shoot outside, it's almost raining. I think it's only once or twice that it doesn't rain. Anyway, it always triggers the rain plot (laughs). But I'm still in good tune with the rain!

Q: Do you have any important points for the photos that you would like people to pay attention to?

Watanabe: Yes. I think it would be nice if people could pay attention to both of them. One is Watanabe, who is as gentle and feminine as a rain girl; There is also Watanabe, who is in high spirits when he sees the rain.

Q: What do you have to do with your work? You once played the role of Akae in "Super Underground Idol" (underground すぎアイドルあかえちゃん).

Watanabe: Yes. "Super Underground Idol" was broadcast as a short anime of the music program "musicるTV" from January ~ March 2014. The protagonist of my voice, Chie-chan, is in the 500 underground floors of the entertainment industry.,As the center of the idol group "Underground すぎプリンセス".

Q: And you guys actually released CDs under the name "Underground すぎプリンセス"?

Watanabe: We sent out a lot of CDs. In addition, a record has been released, and an exclusive event was held the other day!

Q: Could you please tell us more about the exclusive event?

Watanabe: This is to commemorate the release of the DVD, and the person who purchased the DVD will be eligible for the lottery through the guò lottery. Among the activities, there are sections that look back on the history of "Chijiang Sauce", nostalgic links such as "There is such an exclusive event" and "There was also an event to give things away", and there is also an illustration session. I'm a terrible drawer.

Q: What is the so-called "painter" feeling?

Watanabe: People around me say that my paintings are "dark" and "deep dark...... (laughs). At the end, we had a concert and sang a total of three songs. We couldn't find much time to practice, and it wasn't even on the day of the event that everyone got together for the first time. But everyone still worked very hard. I think our show is full of energy. And we also challenged the "lip-synching manifesto" for the first time ever!

Q: Lip-synching!? What is this saying?

Watanabe: We announced to our guests, "There is a heavy notice here! At the moment when the music plays, the microphone may not be able to make a sound~! "And our movements became so intense during the performance that we were completely out of the microphone. Despite this, you can still hear the singing, but we tell everyone to "don't worry about the details" (laughs). But this is also very in line with the characteristics of "Super Underground Idol".

Q: Is there such a plot in "Super Underground Idol"?

Watanabe: That's the case with the anime PV that comes with the CD, and even adds a sentence that says "people are completely out of the microphone". Therefore, this is our performance at the concert, and it is also a kind of recreation of the anime PV. Although we appeared in reality, just like in "Super Underground Idol", we were waiting for the complaint that "everyone is completely out of the microphone" (laughs). However, because we didn't put our voice on the microphone, we were able to sing and dance with all our might. Maybe the audience in the front row will be able to hear our real voice.

Q: In other words, you're doing your best.

Watanabe: Really, everyone was sweating profusely, and they couldn't breathe. Due to the dance movements, the sound could not be transmitted properly with the microphone, but we were determined to "show the charm with the strength of the whole body!" "So everyone is desperately trying to surface it. Originally, this concert was "the first and the last", but we voice actors didn't want it to be the last, so we said "Let this show win the next chance!" "And then show the best version of yourself to the audience.

Q: Does Watanabe-sama have anything in common with Nao-chan?

Watanabe: The makers (players of this game) often say, "You two are very much alike!" "I sometimes do some off-line actions, which may be similar to Nao-chan's silly kid. And I'm also from Kansai, so I was born with a spit physique, which is a kind of blood resonance that also comes from Kansai.

Watanabe: I also starred in the theatrical version of "Idol Masters Towards a Glorious Future" released in January 2014...... I had seen anime long before I had anything to do with the "Idol Master" series, so I was really surprised and thought, "I didn't think I could perform with my seniors like this!" "During the recording, I had a stomachache because I was overly nervous (laughs). And Nao-chan's first line is "I've really become a member of the 765 office...... which is exactly the same mood as me. The moment I entered the studio, I was thinking, "Wow~~~~!" Q: You also appeared in the DLC for "Idol Master ONEFORALL", which was released on September 25th.

Watanabe: I'm also very impressed by that! I think the core part of "Idol Master" is the way the game characters sing and dance at the same time. And I'm really happy that my character can appear on this occasion.

Q: Then may I also ask about Ms. Watanabe's private life? Do you have any obsessions?

Watanabe: My hobby is watching baseball games, and I often go to Hanshin Tigers games. Other than that, I love bedrock baths and hot springs! As long as I take a break, I go to the super bath and enjoy it. And if it was late at night, there would be no one left, which made me feel like I was chartered. Watanabe: The characters I wanted to try were the fairy and mascot characters in the children's work. I love children.

Q: What kind of voice actor do you want to be?

Watanabe: The voice should be distinctive, and it will be further deepened and improved according to this characteristic. I want to be a voice actor that people will say, "I think I've heard this voice somewhere," "This person is also appearing in this work," and "It's great to have this person voiced." Also, in addition to sound, I would like to be able to perform in a wide range of fields. I also wanted to challenge the narration. I don't have any experience at all, but I'd like to try my hand at character narration that I can do with my voice, and narration that only I can do!
