Q: The title of the new song is "Exterminate", and the title has the meaning of "kill them all", "sweep them away", and "destroy them all".

A: I'm sorry for causing a commotion (laughs). This is the theme song of the TV anime "Battle Queen's Swan Song GX", and while it contains the meaning of "crusading against the enemy", it also has the meaning of "destroying the darkness in your heart".

Q: The anime "Battle Queen's Swan Song" series has been out for three seasons, and Miss Mizuki has already sung three theme songs for the work, so do you feel any difference?

A: In the first season of "Synchrogazer", I tried to show the style of singing and singing that rose to the challenge; The second season's "Vitalization" is a fast-paced work, and for this reason, I am looking for burning passion. This time, on the contrary, I wanted to be able to get back to the royal way of the genre, which seemed very pure. For example, the theme song begins with a soothing cappella, and some of the duets in the song are relatively straightforward in terms of composition, despite the fast tempo. As for the melody, while retaining the style of the first two songs, this time it gives people the feeling of constantly throwing punches. I value emotional outpouring more than technical expressions, so I need enough energy. It's like if you don't eat a lot of meat before recording, your body won't be able to hold on to it (laughs). The feeling is to turn each lyric into energy itself, and the decisive part is how to put the emotion into it.

Q: On the cover of the CD, you are holding the light in your hand, which is the embodiment of the energy body.

A: Yes! After singing, I felt a strong sense of accomplishment and liberation, and I slept soundly that night (laughs). Actually, I think the theme of this song is "liberation", and this is also related to the content of the anime...... Anyway, I think this song embodies such a purpose: when we want to realize our dreams, we want to protect someone, and we want to grow further, we must face the fragile and dark parts of our hearts, and have the consciousness to overcome difficulties, and release a qiē to gain momentum to move forward. I connected the anime to my own real-life life and wrote this song.

Q: There is a phrase in the lyrics that "I want to sing for you", which I think is very much in line with the characteristics of Miss Mizuki.

A: Whether it is for me or the characters in my works, I always have questions about "what is the meaning of my singing". So the lyrics came to my mind all at once. Before the chorus begins, the accompaniment disappears and is only displayed in the form of words, which is the easiest to impress and therefore the easiest to convey to the listener. And this lyric has different meanings and feelings for me and the audience depending on the environment in which I sing and listen to the song, such as in the anime or at the concert, so it can be very direct to people's imagination.

Q: In terms of sound effects, the whole music is composed by orchestral music, and the voice of a real person is interacted with electronic music.

A: It feels like "electronic rock + symphonic rock". When two kinds of rock play at the same time, there will be interactive parts in some bars. I also put a lot of effort into mixing to make each piece of music stand out. It's also hard to balance this. So please be sure to wear headphones and listen carefully to the details!

Q: You can see the ruins of Ibaraki Prefecture in the music video.

A: I envisioned a style where I woke up in the morning and found myself surrounded by ruins and wondered, "What the hell is going on......?" "It's like a prologue in a movie. Then the lyrics are accompanied by a message to the audience, so I hope everyone can expand their brains. Also, the highlight of this MV is the men's footage! To match the song, I wore a tuxedo, tied my hair behind and put on a hat, and I felt like a male character in Takarazuka. You can also see the new water tree here.

Q: In addition, there is a chorus called "ブランブル", which is also a very good tune, but if you look closely at the lyrics, it will be heavy.

A: It's like looking up at the sky and singing about it, but there's also darkness in the lyrics. This is the theme song of the game "THETOWEROFPRINCESS", and I play the main character Ibaraki Hime in it. In order to save everyone, you can do whatever you want...... While feeling this way, I also sadly hope that a miracle will happen. I write songs from the perspective of the protagonist, and this also includes the theme of "liberation" in a sense.

Q: Another song, "It's OnlyBrave", was used in the Ehime Prefecture High School Baseball Regional Audition program and was the theme song. You can see that Miss Mizuki watches high school baseball every year.

A: Yes! Ehime's high school is strong every year, and I've been watching it since I was a kid and I'm incredibly excited! I've been cheering them on! Even after I came to Tokyo, I would be looking forward to the news about which high school Ehime would win. If you can cheer them on with songs this year, it will be more fun than anything else.

Q: This song should give strength to high school baseball boys.

A: The song will be broadcast along with the results of the day's competition...... If you baseball kids can grow up and remember: I heard this song when I was working hard! Then I'll be happy. When I was in singing training, I also liked the songs that motivated me, and when I heard them, I felt that the memories of those years were awakened. And if only this song could achieve the same effect.

Q: I used to write a lot of songs for Johnnys, who was in charge of lyrics and music.

A: I also listened to a lot of samples this time and intuitively felt that I should use this song. There will be many discoveries in new encounters...... And it took me to the unknown, which was very exciting.

Q: Miss Mizuki is currently on tour, so what kind of world will this year's tour take us?
