Teddy bear "wife" Jessica? Interview with Bath

The super cute and super cheap teddy bear is on the big screen again, the R-rated comedy "Teddy Bear 2" written and directed by Seth McFarlane is currently being released in North America, Jessica Bart plays the cashier Tammy Lynn again in this movie, but unlike the first part, her identity in "Teddy Bear 2" has changed from Teddy's girlfriend to wife. So would it be a fun experience to be the wife of a teddy bear? Jessica Barthes recently shared various interesting facts about the filming of this film in an interview with SpinoffOnline.

――Was there anything particularly interesting about playing Tammy Lynn again in Teddy Bear 2? Is there something new that excites you?

Jessica Bhatt: yes, the challenge I faced was to give her a new personality and a new character. She is now married, trying to fit into family life, and then dealing with marital issues through guò to be a good wife, wanting to conceive a child, and then going through this qiē with Teddy. So I'm really excited to be able to do some of the more dramatic scenes and some more emotional scenes as a living Tammy Lynn. I mean, she's a rare character on a movie screen, very unique and funny, so I'm really happy to be able to continue to elevate that character in the sequel.

- I really like your role as Tammy Lynn. Did you construct her character and characteristics in your head, a relatively real person in the world of "teddy bear", of course?

Jessica Bhatt: Yes, absolutely! I did a lot of homework to understand her and figure her out, and I really prepared a lot. I read a lot of backstories. I really did my best to portray this character. I have a relationship with Teddy as I have with a flesh-and-blood person. So when I'm acting, I don't have an acting attitude and interact with a teddy bear. It's actually very difficult to play an ironic character, so I have to make certain choices to make her a real person, so people will support her.

-- The work is interesting, and it revolves around the difficulties of the couple's family life. The first conundrum is the Boston accent, which once again hits you to the point. Did you have a problem speaking with this accent in the second movie?

Jessica Bhatt: Oh, thank you! No. I can safely say that I regained my senses. But in order to speak with a perfect Boston accent, I really had to try hard not to tarnish my reputation as a Bostonian! So I had to work as hard as I did in Teddy 1. My hearing is good, but I wish my accent was like I was born in Boston. So I spent a lot of time with the girls from Quincy. I spent a lot of time in Boston's bars, just walking around and listening to the locals talk. My drivers for Teddy 1 and Teddy 2 were both from Medford, so he helped me really a lot. It's really important for Seth that he chose me to play this role and I'm really going to try to play that role well.

- Did Mark Wahlberg show you the tone or correct you this time?

Jessica Bhatt: Occasionally there will be a word or two that I would ask him, of course, just to make sure my pronunciation is authentic.

- The second problem: her wardrobe. What do you like and what do you hate?

Jessica Bart: Well, I love the look of the clothes. I hate the feeling of wearing it. They are not the most comfortable clothes. It was all special clothes, and I had to tuck myself into tights and not jeans. It's not the most interesting part of the film, but her wardrobe does reflect a certain aspect of her very concretely.

The job of shaping her look was a collaborative process, and Evans played Cindy as a costume designer who was fantastic. We spent a lot of time trying on different clothes, fixing the details of the clothes and matching different jewelry. And details like how long my nails should be. But it's really fun. First of all, just in my hair, I watched a lot of episodes of Jersey Shore, taking notes on Snooki and styling them. This time, she was a little more mature, so I learned some great makeup tips from Kardashian. Hair curled high, exhausting communication, mature hairstyles and appropriate makeup will add to the character.

――Can you tell me about some scenes that are different from the first film? Is the film easier, or is there a scene that is particularly tricky?

Jessica Bhatt: These are very real questions. It took more time because I had to dig into the deeper feelings of emotion in this film. I had to have quite a few dramatic scenes in the movie, and it was quite difficult to talk to myself and yell into the air. So I had to do my homework and do my job as an actor, and when I was filming on set, no one was playing against me, I was acting alone.

I did everything I could to make these scenes real and believable, so it was a really cool challenge. Seth is interacting with you off camera, but it's not like someone playing against you. So it's absolutely, definitely a huge challenge, especially when it's time to act in emotional dramas and fight scenes.

――The most interesting thing about "Teddy Bear 2" is the celebrity cameos. Can you share a movie scene that just jumped into your mind and made you find interesting?

Jessica Bhatt: Morgan Freeman! Thank God he came on the first day and I didn't have any lines. I could just sit there and watch what he did. He's really a very skilled actor with incredible acting skills. I'm a big fan of him, I don't chase stars a lot, but Morgan Freeman is definitely my idol. On set, there was a thought that crossed my head and I wanted to say to him, "Hello, Mr. Freeman. I'm your big fan! “

But he's really down-to-earth and very dedicated, and what surprised me was the way he had a sense of humor: he was really funny, and no matter what jokes Seth told him, he took it naturally. I had to interact with him. In the hospital scene, we had to say something different to him than the lines in the script. But I had to say something very vulgar to him. This can be the most challenging thing to do.

- You and Seth have been good friends for a while. You'll say to him, "Dude, that plot is going too far. I can't ......."

Jessica Bhatt: I'm totally fine with saying that, but I'm convinced of all the things he creates. I'm sure if it's too far away, he won't use it. But I always had fun exploring any situation he wanted. And then I really believe that if I can't get the effect he wants or if the scene is really bad, he'll put it out. I trust his comedic flair.

――Do you have any ideas for further development?

Jessica Bhatt: I didn't want to overtake him! He is a master. I just let him do his own thing. But he can definitely let you play to your heart's content. He embraces such things as improvisation. I like improvisation, but I pretty much follow the tone of the script for movies and scripts like this. They are amazing writers, amazing cartoonists. So I just let them do their thing, and the whole plot is very interesting.

- Your performance is very creative, and you have ambitions outside of performance. Can this film adaptation help you get a boost with any personal plans?

Jessica Bhatt: Yes, yes, the people I'm meeting with, the people I'm able to meet, the people I'm friends with, I want to work with them. People actually want to get to know you, not you want to meet them and build a relationship. This movie allows you to do your acting superbly, especially in the sequel, and I have to shout in more dramatic scenes to immerse myself in the emotions of this character throughout the scene, which is really fun to experience.

- Sue us sù what kind of movie will you appear in next, and how are these characters different?

Jessica Bhatt: I just finished making a horror movie, which was an exorcism movie. I wanted to do something different from Tammy Lynn, and because of that, you can see that I can do other roles outside of that. It's a horror movie. I love horror movies. I'm so happy to be a part of it. yes, I think it's important for me and my team to play a completely different role than Tammy Lynn.

――Is it really strange if someone gives you a teddy bear as a gift?

Jessica Bhatt: No, I just laugh! And it's hysterical! I actually have two teddy bears. One of the things I got for my first film, and the other one that I got for my second film, and it was wearing a tuxedo. I was told that Tammy Lynn's version of the teddy bear doll might have come out, which was funny.
