――The anime version has been on the air for a while, but what is your state of mind now?
Michio Okamiya: I'm full of emotion. I wasn't directly involved in the production of the anime version, but I participated in a preview at the end of last year. I was really happy to see that the entire theater was full and the fans were satisfied. "Ah, our work has finally become an animation!" ――From your point of view, what is the appeal of the anime version?

2. The servers of the town guard are increasing indefinitely

Michio Okamiya: At the beginning, I'm really sorry that the server and network scale were not good enough, and I caused trouble for you. Michio Okamiya: I'm very sorry for the players who were moved at the time, but it was really bad at the time...... DMM platform operators and game operators are constantly thinking of solutions, but even if we continue to add servers, it will still be difficult to meet the needs of the growing number of people. In the case of a browser game, this is an unimaginable scale.
3. I want to create a work that will influence the trend of the game industry
――The game has been in operation for two years, right?

――Recently, a new game has been released, and it looks like a follower of "Ship Colle......
Michio Okamiya: Eh, that's hard to say...... I was really shocked when the anthropomorphism of the man of the sword appeared on the DMM game platform, because the UI of the game interface is exactly the same as that of "Ship Colle". My division and the division that make other games have different approval channels, so I didn't know that other departments were developing such a game.
Then I did a trial and the basic system was exactly the same. Later, I found a plan outline for this game, which was printed with the game screen of "Ship Colle", and the description of the game mode also deliberately stated that "the tun is basically the same as "Ship Colle" and "here it is the same as the XX of "Ship Colle". The theme and illustrations of the game are great, but this game has been copied from the planning stage, and I had a hard time developing Ship Colle, so I have mixed feelings when I think about it. After that, I went directly to the operator of the game, Zuò, and complained, "Your game is exactly copied, right?" After hearing this, the maker apologized to me (laughs).
From a business point of view, there will probably be good returns in the short term. However, in the medium to long term, it will definitely not be beneficial for the game platform to make multiple games with the same game mode. ――What is the overall direction of development of "Ship Colle" in the future?
Michio Okamiya: As announced some time ago, we are working on an arcade version of Ship Colle in the AM2 research and development of Sega, and we plan to launch it this summer. I am personally very happy that this project will come to fruition. AM2 research is very enthusiastic about development, I participated in the game test a while ago, the game is very high, the subtleties are very good, with the improvement of the game completion in the future, I will definitely be able to make better game works, I am very much looking forward to this!
