Kenichi Suzumura: No, I feel like I'm having a lot of fun every day! It's just that at that time, I really wanted to get out of my part-time job and live only on the work of voice actors, and I wanted to go deeper into the voice actor career as soon as possible.

――Have you ever felt uneasy, "Maybe I won't be able to become a voice actor?"

Kenichi Suzumura: Not really. …… But now that I look back and see that I might not be able to become a voice actor, it's a very dangerous idea (laughs). It's just that I never thought about failure after I decided to become a voice actor.

Kenichi Suzumura: Of course, there are many failures in the past, but once you set a goal, you can only move forward, and your uneasiness will naturally become smaller. "If you have time to feel uneasy, you might as well start acting immediately!" That's what I've thought ever since. ――What is your happiest job since you became a voice actor?

Kenichi Suzumura: Of course, it's all work (laughs). Because I like this job very much, including today's record, every day is so happy...... Ah, but the recent solo live event was the culmination of a music event for the first time in six years, and I was very impressed. In this LIVE, I felt like I had reached heights that I had never reached before.

――What exactly is meant by "untouched heights"?

Kenichi Suzumura: It means that "there is no resistance to holding a LIVE by myself". In fact, similar situations often happened when I first started to get involved in the voice actor industry....... I said earlier that I never felt nervous about becoming a voice actor, but at the same time, I was always nervous about whether I could "do something perfectly". However, if a person has this "uneasy" feeling in his heart, it is impossible to exert all his strength, and he must be confident in himself. Kenichi Suzumura: For myself six years ago, LIVE was something that made me restless. But after all these years of training, it has become a daily routine for me to stand on stage and sing, and it has become very natural. Kenichi Suzumura: There is a limit to the number of times I can eat in life, so I am fighting every day to "eat seriously". Sometimes, if I can't find a good restaurant, I just skip that meal.

Kenichi Suzumura: Actually, there are many opinions, and it is very difficult to answer. But if it's just Heisei's work, then it's definitely Kamen Rider Kiva. At the time of the broadcast, I thought it would be hard enough to make Kamen Rider so realistic, but you know, the whole work didn't disappoint me in the end, it's really amazing. I think that if there was no such work, then there would definitely be no current Kamen Rider, which created the trend of Tokusatsu dramas in the Heisei period, and it is a perfect work!
