Zhuda: Actually, there's a setting behind it. This song is a sequel to "CANDYLOVE", and the girls who appear are the same. The child who said "like is like" has taken a new step forward. It's exciting.

――Is it also a hint of your new step?

Zhuda: Yes, "CANDYLOVE" was the first song I recorded, and it was my first step. In the two years since my debut, I released an album and held a concert, so I entered the second season and met new good songs.

――Is this a "melodic pop song"?

Zhuda: It's not so much a beautiful melody as a sparkling, enthusiastic and positive song, but it has a sad feeling of wanting to cry. I felt this way the first time I heard it.

――Is that so? Where?

Zhuda: I don't know where it is, but it seems to have been pressed all at once from the beginning of the prelude. It's incredible.

――What kind of picture emerges?

Zhuda: It's just a girl walking. However, this child has just read a picture book at home, and his heart is still in the picture book. She was playing while walking, but she had other concerns in her heart. When I was a child, I read picture books and had "Huh?! Why is it so tragic? I still remember it vividly. She herself poured out a lot of emotions when she digested the sadness and pain after reading the picture book. These feelings are written into the lyrics, and I sing them.

- I see, it's so profound.

Zhuda: "The Daughter of the Sea" really left a deep psychological shadow on me. She ended up dying in foam. First of all, she was already in pain just by becoming human, and every step was painful...... After reading this story, I had a deep sense of wonder about why I wanted to become a human so much. She must have wondered herself, and would ask herself "why". After watching "Snow White", I felt that "fortunately, I got happiness in the end", and these feelings are intertwined to form "wonderful". It's heart-pounding and exciting, but it's not just positive.

――So, which is more?

Zhuda: Of course, there are more elements of positivity. I was very excited and happy when I recorded. I sang it all in one go. In the past, it usually took four or five hours to record, but this time it was done in three hours. It's very fast.

-- What kind of excitement and excitement are you?

Zhuda: For example, when you walk down the street and suddenly you find "that chihuahua is so cute", or you find "that headdress is so beautiful" in a boutique, it is a little excitement in everyday life. It's not a big thing, it's an accumulation of small things, and that's what's wonderful about the world. When I saw the cute dress, I felt very glad that I was a girl.

-- This is probably the greatest happiness.

Zhuda: Actually, I think it's better to be a boy. Because I really don't like women being labelled as weak and incapacitated. Maybe it's because I'm baby-faced and have a bit of low self-esteem, so I want to be a tall man who can carry heavy luggage and unscrew drinks at once (laughs). However, when you wear cute clothes and have your nails done, you will feel "a girl's happiness".

Zhuda: It's not about asking others, it's about asking yourself. I used to play hide and seek when I was a kid, but when I caught someone, I was uneasy to see that everyone was gone. When I'm hiding, I'm worried that people won't find me, so I'm very upset (laughs). So for me it's an unsettling game. I was nervous every time.

――Aren't you excited to find someone else?

Zhuda: I'm worried that people won't find me, so I'm sad...... I'm good at hiding. People couldn't find me until the end. I don't want people to go back and say, "Oh, forget it," so whenever someone looking for me comes by, I deliberately cough or make a noise and say, "I'm here" (laughs).

――Another song is "Surfing GOGOGO". In the last interview with "petitmilady", you said that you are an "otaku", are you a little interested in surfing?

Zhuda: Not at all interested (laughs). It felt cold and scary. When you see someone surfing on the beach, the waves will crash against you. It's horrible...... However, this song is also about a desire to go surfing, but in the end it didn't work. I'm sure that's the same result for me, who didn't have anything to do with surfing.

――If you don't talk about surfing, do you go to the beach in the summer?

Takeda: I've been staying at home in the summer (laughs). When I was in junior high school, I lived with my friends in Shonan, and we went to the beach together, and I thought it was a river (laughs).

――Do you think the sea in Shonan is a river?!

Zhuda: I haven't been to the beach. The sea in my mind is the blue sea of Okinawa and other countries, so I think Shonan is just "a big river" (laughs). Later, when I grew up, I finally knew that it was the sea. At that time, I was already drowning in the water, but I was told that "the wind and waves are too high today, and swimming is not allowed". It's rare that I'm wearing a swimsuit.

――I didn't get my wish because of the weather. By the way, on the day of the event, you tweeted that you wouldn't like to get a turtle (laughs).

Zhuda: I don't know why it happened like that, it's all the fault of the phone (laughs). I was sitting in a taxi and I was confused, and then I was surprised to see "I don't think it will be a turtle" on a fan's Twitter and thought "What are you talking about", but I was surprised to find out that I typed "rain" as "turtle" (laughs).

――Is this a common mistake?

Zhuda: Frequent offender. I tried to say "I have to do something" to my friend, but it turned out to be "I have to die", and my friend replied, "What's wrong with you?!" (laughs).

――I don't think I'm in a hurry when typing (laughs). As an otaku, you are not very interested in holding a concert at "Maihama Amphitheater", which is very close to Tokyo Disneyland?

Zhuda: I love Disney so much! Very, very want to play. I would like to go and stay at the Disney Hotel for one night a day earlier.

――How do you feel when you go there?

Zhuda: Mickey ears (laughs). I was so happy the night before that I couldn't sleep. When I set off on the train at 7 a.m., I was sure to fall down with the excitement and lightness of my steps, but it didn't hurt at all (laughs). When I yelled "wow", I was fine if I hit something on my arm, but at night I noticed that it was very swollen...... That's the real thing (laughs).

――It looks like it's going to be a good concert.

Zhuda: I was on that stage at an event. It was a round, spinning stage with a lot of features. It's a rare opportunity, and I hope to make a performance that is unique to Amphitheater. Maybe I'll spun along with the stage, maybe I'll float in the air (laughs). Stay tuned!

I'm not very good at memorizing dance steps. Sometimes I forget which foot I should come out of. The movements can become weird or staggered with someone else's rhythm. However, I often perform live, and I try to perform as well as I can on stage.

When I was a child, I went to an amusement park with a relative aunt and my mother to challenge an open-air maze. It was summer, and it was very hot, and it was very painful to never reach the end. Although I was still young at the time, I didn't want to give up halfway, so I continued to find the finish line with my mother, which took two hours. I haven't played maze since then and have never been in it again.
