01. Please tell us about your opportunity to become a voice actor.

A: When I was an elementary school student, I slept during the day because of a cold, but I woke up at night. Later, I accidentally watched the TV, and what I saw was a late-night animation. This can be regarded as an opportunity.

2. Which is Miss Yuka Otsubo's animation debut?

A: Kyoko Suina from "Swaying Lily". I still can't forget the heartbeat I felt at that time: whether it was the first time I auditioned or the first time I stood in front of a microphone on a recording set......

03. In your previous works, is there any role that left a particularly deep impression on you?

A: I have a deep affection for each of these characters, and if I had to name one, it would be my debut character, Kyoko-chan. It's been more than three years since I debuted, but I'm still voicing this character, and I feel like she's also a character who has been with me for a long time.

04. Among the characters you have dubbed, are there any characters that have parts similar to you?

A: I played the role of Nishi-Mimon-chan in "Flower Dancing Girl", and she is a girl who always has a smile on her face and is a bit of a mischievous person. These are all similar to me, huh......

05. In the previous dubbing process, please list a plot that impressed you.

A: In "Devil's Mystery", I played the roles of "Maha Day" and "Maha Night". And the scene of the inner dialogue between the two is still fresh in my memory.

06. If you have any failures or impressive experiences at the dubbing scene, please let us know.

A: When I was starring in "I want to be the best idol in the world", there was a dubbing that I was not satisfied with, so I asked to re-record it. And after the recording, I wanted to say to the staff, "Thank you very much!" I'm so sorry! As a result, it turned out to be "very much unappreciated!! "It was a shame to me, but I was very touched by the reaction, like "Drifters" (a group known for their short comedies).

07. Are there any competitors or voice actors that you are targeting?

A: There are a lot of people I see as targets. The more experienced people are, the more attention to detail they pay to the dubbing scene, and many of them have maintained a good rapport with me while working. So not only the performance skills, but also the knowledge of how to behave and etiquette from them.

08. What do you think you would do if you didn't become a voice actor?

A: I think I would be an ordinary college student. Maybe you might even work in a confectionery shop!

09. What is the most painful thing about being a voice actor?

A: When your throat is broken, you can't get the voice you need at all. Health is the number one priority......

10. Conversely, what is the happiest thing about being a voice actor?

A: Get to know all the esteemed staff and voice actors. And all the fans who cheered me on. If I hadn't become a voice actor, I wouldn't have met these wonderful people.

11. Do you like to sing? Also, when did you think the song you sang was the most impressive?

A: I like it!! Generally speaking, I may have a strong resistance because I can't read the score, but when I sing those charismatic songs as a character, I feel very happy!

12. Do you have any memorable contributions to your radio program?

A: When you see the email that says, "Two of your fans are married!!" ". At that time, I felt as if I was married, and I was very happy.

13. Did you have anything particularly attached to during the performance?

A: I want to pay attention to the personality and characteristics of the character.

14. What kind of characters are you best at voice acting?

A: It's a more leisurely girl. One of the staff members once said that my sound quality sounded quite laid-back, so I was very concerned (laughs).

15. Please tell us about your goals and dreams as a voice actor.

A: If the works and characters related to me can play the following roles, then my goal has been achieved. In other words: my work can become an irreplaceable spiritual pillar for others!

A: Sometimes, the strength of an actor is also very important!

17. In addition to the works you starred in, are there any other anime that you often watch?

A: "Shadow Ninja! ", "Changing Star", "STRATOS4", "Psychic King", "Mercury Navigator", "Happy Seven Lucky Girls", ...... Wait, there's a lot! Hey, hey, hey.

18. Are there any characters you would like to voice in the above-mentioned animations, or characters that you would like to be voiced for?

A: President Aria Poktian from ARIA. I'm really looking forward to this kind of mascot-like character!

19. What type of animation do you like when watching animation as a viewer?

I like to watch anime that have a lot of cute girls, and there are also anime with very unique backgrounds or fantasy themes. As for the plot, from daily to sports, there is nothing I don't watch!

20. What kind of child were you when you were a child?

A: Running around like a boy. I prefer card games and sports to playing house!

21. Tell us about the shows you watch regularly.

A: "Passion Continent", a show about Italian towns and World Heritage sites. There are also football shows and funny shows!

22. Tell us about your favorite book in your life.

A: The Treatise on Happiness by Emil August Schartier. Anyway, I like this kind of quotes, aphorisms and things like that.

A: The Animal Forest series.
