01. Please tell us about your opportunity to become a voice actor.

A: I borrowed the movie "Mobile Battleship Nadeshiko" from a friend when I was in high school. There is a character named Kitajin in this work, and the voice of him is Mr. Koichi Yamadera, whom I liked very much at the time and now. After watching the appearance of the warp engine in which he starred in the North Star, I had the idea that "I want to go to the warp engine myself". That's why I became a voice actor.

02. Which is Mr. Hosoya's animation debut?

A: At the beginning, I am afraid that it was a character named Chartolcour in the work "Gallery of Forgeries"**.

03. In your previous works, is there any role that left a particularly deep impression on you?

A: The Seven Flowers in "The Language of the Knife".

04. Among the characters you have dubbed, are there any characters that have parts similar to you?

A: I've played some completely different types of roles, so I think the similarity with them is the voice.

05. In the previous dubbing process, please list a plot that impressed you.

A: In the last episode of "Knife Language", the scene of the death of the blame girl left a deep impression on me.

06. If you have any failures or impressive experiences at the dubbing scene, please let us know.

A: The first time I dubbed an anime, I was a person who didn't know how thick the sky was. During the performance, I didn't care about leaving early and doing some things that went too far. Later, I was pointed out by my seniors, which made me feel ashamed.

07. Are there any competitors or voice actors that you are targeting?

A: There were a lot of them in the past, but now I want to be able to explore more of my strengths and hone my skills.

08. What do you think you would do if you didn't become a voice actor?

A: I think I'll work at a bar owned by a friend.

09. What is the most painful thing about being a voice actor?

A: The voice actor job will not help you reimburse your phone bills and utilities, so you can't live a normal life. I also went to a friend's to borrow a bathroom to take a shower.

10. Conversely, what is the happiest thing about being a voice actor?

A: When I look at the works that I have appeared in, and when I receive letters from fans that say, "You have worked hard in many ways." There is also when I received a letter on my birthday that said "You were born for me, thank you".

11. Do you like to sing? Also, when did you think the song you sang was the most impressive?

A: For a while, I enjoyed singing, and there was also a time when I felt it was a burden. I was more impressed by the song "クチビル" that I sang during the concert, which was a song by Kuranosuke Shiraishi. It was a night show in Tokyo, and the moment I started singing the song, I was surprised to find that I could still make a sound! ”

12. Do you have any memorable contributions to your radio program?

A: One of the letters said, "You may find your way of saying things difficult to understand, but I like your style." "I was very happy......

13. Did you have anything particularly attached to during the performance?

A: Bring the character to life. I wanted to make the characters more human. Even if it's a non-human character, I'll be very careful about the control of the emotion.

14. What kind of characters are you best at voice acting?

A: Characters who don't have a mother, but crave maternal love...... Right? The word good at it makes me a little scared, and I can't say what characters are good at. But there are some characters that I can easily understand from the heart.

15. Please tell us about your goals and dreams as a voice actor.

A: I've been dubbing all my life. Appeared as a participant in a Japanese film in a film that captivated the world. I also want to see overseas fans.

16. Please give a word to those who are working hard to make voice actors their goal.

A: Try a lot of things and become an interesting person!

17. In addition to the works you starred in, are there any other anime that you often watch?

A: I'm a big fan of Cowboy Bebop. In addition, there are "Doraemon", "Super Power Magic", "Slam Dunk" and "Rogue Kenshin".

18. Are there any characters in the animation you asked above that you really want to play or dream of?

A: Spike Spieg from "Cowboy Bebop". I really, really like the character.

19. What type of animation do you like when watching animation as a viewer?

A: I prefer the theatrical version to watch some dramas. Suspense works like "Blue Fear" may be my cup of tea.

20. What kind of child were you when you were a child?

A: He's a shy boy, but he's a little precocious. In addition, he is a child who loves to watch TV...... I was still very fond of Jackie Chan at the time.

A: News, weather forecast...... Take a look at "Townhouse Apartments" once in a while.

22. Tell us about your favorite book in your life.

A: "The Tide and the Tiger, Mr. Haruki Murakami's "South of the Border, West of the Sun". These are the two books that come to mind at once.

A: What I want to play most right now is Super Nintendo's Prince of Persia.

A: "Palm" by Mr. Children and "Whenever" by Keiyuki Makihara.

A: "If you're not happy, it's not life." If you're not happy, it's not a job. I recently read this quote from a book, and I decided to make it a motto.

27. What sports have you participated in before, please tell us about your experience?

A: Basketball team (quit in a week), kendo (early stage), unicycle (if you go forward, you can ride no matter how far you go), skateboarding (you can only go forward).

A: I don't go to karaoke.

A: Sea urchin, courgezola, teppanyaki, salad, plum cartilage......

A: All you can think of at once is a snack made from French fries.

A: I like sweet white wines. Whiskey. Sweet vermouth.
