And the person in charge of painting is Kenichi Tachibana, who has a bold and gorgeous style and a very oppressive picture. So how did the two people in the live-action version of the "Yacheng Mu Yumeye" group come together? I was reading a book at the time, and I happened to see the news that Mr. Tachibana was recruiting assistants in "YOUNGJUMP". I've been brushing this stuff before, but I don't know why I feel like this ad is shining (laughs). I walked out of the convenience store first, but I was so concerned about the job posting, I ran back and bought YOUNGJUMP. Now that I think about it, it must have been the guardian spirit behind me who arranged for us to meet.

Four years ago, the editor in charge of "YOUNGJUMP" said to me, "Although Guijiajun is good at making up stories, he really can't draw them, so you should train him well." ”

When I was interviewing as an assistant, I used to show the editors of other publishers the rugby cartoons I had drawn. The other party commented: "Although the painting is so bad, I didn't expect it to make people read it until the end." (laughs)

At that time, I was busy with serialized works, so I was a little distressed to let a college student who didn't know anything eat here. However, Gui Jiajun is a good young man and very motivated, so I asked him to help a little. It's only 3 times (laughs).

At that time, I didn't even know how to cut the dots.

However, after this simple collaboration, due to the launch of "MIRACLEJUMP", Kenichi Tachibana proposed to adapt an SF manga based on the original work of Yu Kika.

At that time, the editor said, "Draw a story about a submarine, a spaceship, or Mars." This led to the collaboration between the two of us. In fact, the theory that moss and cockroaches were dispersed on Mars, thereby altering the planet's environment, is real. I watched this on TV when I was a kid and remember it vividly. As for spaceships and Mars, that's all I know (laughs).

Tachibana: I haven't painted anything like SF before, so I've been learning a lot from the beginning. Regarding the setting of "Martian Xenomorph", together with the editor-in-charge, the three of us jointly came up with the idea, and then made it. Although xenos have faces similar to those of humans, they have a subtle sense of disobedience that makes people feel terrible.

Some girls once asked us what we were drawing, and they gave up immediately after hearing the introduction. It's a giant cockroach after all...... (laughs)

Tachibana draws zuò products with the aim of disgusting the reader, which is a good thing in a sense. And if you don't give up reading because of this, you'll soon be immersed in the plot.

If you just read the setting, you may not feel how passionate this work is. But in fact, the impactful graphics, passionate and individual characters all give us a pure SF combat work. Thinking of the popularity of previous works such as "Attack on Titan", maybe this work will be praised by the audience as "so handsome" after it is animated, and then set off a new craze.
