Chapter 269: The Buddha's Teachings

The Buddha's personal enlightenment must be a very great blessing.

"Actually, Yun Shui has been thinking all the way, is Yun Shui really suitable for Buddhism? Because compared to what the master taught Yun Shui, Yun Shui felt that Sister Yang Mengyan and Leng Yue Gongzi, their ideas were more suitable for Yun Shui. And in fact, their approach is more effective than Yunshui, and although they don't practice the Dharma, Yunshui always feels that their understanding of the Dharma is more profound than that of Yunshui. So, what exactly is a Buddha? They are people outside the Buddha sect, not only do they kill frequently, but they also have seven emotions and six desires, but Yunshui is the feeling, and they are more like my Buddhist disciples. And Yunshui, although he is in the Buddha Gate, is more like a layman, not only cutting off his lust, but also causing the loss of merit. ”

"Sure enough, after leaving Master, Yun Shui was no longer able to accumulate merits. Leaving Leng Yue Gongzi and Yang Mengyan's sister, Yunshui is already struggling to even deal with others. Therefore, is Yunshui really suitable for Buddhism? For the Buddha's entrustment, is Yunshui really competent?"

Yun Shui said with a sigh, and lowered his head again.

Almost all of them feel that he has great potential because he has the root of wisdom and has great merit in his own right. But now, his merits have been lost, and this so-called Huigen has also put him in a situation where his life is hanging by a thread at this moment.

So, is he really still competent, is the Buddha entrusted to him?

But the Buddha in front of him was still chuckling like that.

"In other words, the Buddha in your eyes is like your sister Yang Mengyan and Leng Yuexin, or you have to add me and your master. But have you ever heard of a saying, that is, what do you see in your eyes, and what kind of thing does you yourself belong to? Just like these three principals right now, they just see me as an enemy, so in their eyes, they naturally can't see the Buddha. But you can see everybody as a Buddha, so why can't you be called a Buddha with such a clean mind?"

"So in my eyes, you actually belong to the Buddha for a long time. Of course, to become a Buddha requires making great vows, and you also need to have immeasurable merits. And most importantly, you have to be able to find your way, and you have to follow through on your way. ”

"Just like Guanyin Bodhisattva and King Jizo, the reason why they are still in the position of bodhisattvas is not because their merits are inferior to mine, but simply because the vows they have made are too large. So that their merits have already been reached, but because of the laws of heaven, they still stay in the position of bodhisattvas. ”

Therefore, for the practice of Buddhism, the most important thing is the Tao, not the magic. Even if you talk about it a little further, even the merits are all external objects, which is the same as you, although there is no merit surrounding, but you can still borrow the divine power of the Buddhas, and the effect is much better than before. The most important thing is that you have found a heart, and although this heart is still only a prototype, this is the key to the Tao. ”

"All the while, you are following the teachings of the scriptures, or your master, who has been teaching you. But the scriptures are my words, that's what I've experienced, and then I've put them into words. Or maybe the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, their respective experiences are summed up, and then they are gathered by their disciples. ”

"These are all Buddhist scriptures, and they are also sacred relics that my Buddhism worships, and they are examples for you disciples who are new to Buddhism to refer to and learn from every day. But in the final analysis, all of these are just the paths of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, some of the paths that we have carried out and implemented, and which only belong to us. So this can be used by you to learn, to be used as a model for reference, but if you want to talk about the true path, because you are not the Buddhas themselves after all, it is impossible to follow their methods exactly. Because the ultimate state of Buddhahood is that you need to follow your own path completely, and you can no longer rely on the path of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so once the sutras reach the end, it is very likely that they will become a kind of bondage, and they will no longer be something that can help you. ”

"Therefore, the existence of the sutras is for you to learn the methods of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so that you can finally find your own way. And it's not a completely wrong way to copy the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, do what they do, and then apply it to themselves. And practicing Buddhism should be a very happy thing, but if you have to force it, then it will not only be a kind of multiplier with half the effort, but it will also be possible to make the Dharma a source of misfortune for you. ”17

"Don't think I'm being alarmist, that the Dharma is a technique of persuasion to do good, and that it won't be a source of calamity. Because the circumstances, the cases, and the objects, these situations are constantly changing, so you can't encounter the same situation as the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas at the beginning, so if you copy their methods, you can't achieve the same effect as them. ”

"It's like you're in a situation right now, and you think that when I cut meat into an eagle, it's a very fearless spirit. So you want to do the same to me, and you want to sacrifice yourself so that they can find out the truth. ”

"But what about the truth? I cut the meat to feed the eagle only because the rabbit was not at fault, and the old shadow had to eat meat, so it is not to blame him. And if I cut the flesh, I was able to save that rabbit, and in the end, I not only saved that rabbit, but I also lost the old shadow. ”

"But what about you? who can you save if you sacrifice yourself? For them, it's just one more dry bone, and your death has no value, so you're doomed to be wronged. Moreover, originally, they all maintained a kind of boundary, but because of your choice, the Gu girls had already directly torn their faces with them in order to save you. ”

"Although this kind of reluctant coexistence is not a good method, they are not as strong as witchcraft, and they are so desperate to save you, which can only die innocently, without any value. But because of you, this kind of sin has been caused, how can you atone for it? Although they are all voluntary, I, the great wisdom and sage of Buddhism, should not let such a thing happen. ”

So that brings us to the Tao again, because you're doing my way, but it's not getting the desired effect. At the end of the day, it's all about you, and you don't have your own way. ”

"What is the Dao? It's like when he meditated against Sun Monkey, his spells at that time were almost instantaneous, and he finally pushed the light curtain open, then this is the embodiment of his Dao. If you have the Tao in your heart and you are able to carry out your path, then you will not have this situation of being blocked by people and being unable to contact the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. ”

"Because at that time, you have the Tao in your heart, so you don't need to rely on external forces. Therefore, this shackle naturally cannot isolate your power. ”

"Then let's talk about it, what is your way? That is to say, what kind of thing is what you really approve of in your heart? All along, you have been listening to Master's lectures, and your Master has told you to do good deeds and accumulate virtues, so you have also done good deeds and accumulated virtues, and I have asked you to go to the land of Tianzhu, so you have also gone to the land of Tianzhu. Of course, what we tell you, it's all very true, but in your heart, what is it that you really approve of?"

"Do you think that using Buddhism to cross this world is completely inferior to what your sister Yang Mengyan and that Leng Yue Gongzi did. Do you think that talking to the demons about benevolence and righteousness is not as good as the pleasure of killing that group of demon soldiers directly in Zhongnan Mountain. Of course, I have to say that this kind of thinking is close to the Demon Dao, but from another point of view, the Demon Dao is also the boundary of a kind of Dao. ”

"If that's really the kind of thing in your heart, then I can't say much about it. After all, starting from the Dharma and eventually finding your own path, and your path is like that, so what can this say? But luckily, you have the Dharma in your heart, so I believe that you will not be wrong no matter what. ”

After all, Buddhism is only a revelation, and we can't expect everyone to be a selfless virtuous person in the end. We've been doing this all the time, but in a way, this one-size-fits-all answer is itself a wrong option. ”

"Because all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas themselves have different paths. Just like the name of Amitabha Buddha, it is a defensive effect, the name of Guanyin Bodhisattva, it is a kind of illusion-destroying effect, and the name of Medicine Master Liuliguang Bodhisattva, it is also a healing effect. The role of these Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is actually closely related to their paths, so even the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas' paths are completely different, so how can this make the paths exactly the same?"

It's just that they have the Dharma in their hearts, and the Dharma has planted a good cause for them, so they all bear a good fruit. ”
