Volume 1 Origin, The Battle of Heaven Chapter 1 The Walker

Next Chapter

Darkness hung over the desolate town, and the unbridled cold wind blew the air even more messy.

Suddenly, the sound of chanting was heard in the distance.

A walker in a dark yellow robe, carrying a bag on his back, walked slowly along the road. The moonlight shone on him, making the figure even longer.

There seemed to be something behind him, and the walker pouted helplessly.

A small, bulging head poked out and looked around. But he was frightened by a cat's meow in the distance, and shrank back behind the monk's robe.

"Yunshui, monks should be fearless. You are so bold, how can you inherit my mantle in the future?" said the monk with great helplessness.

The little head poked out again, and it seemed that he had finally mustered great courage. He opened his mouth and began to speak: "But, but this place is so eerie and terrifying, could it be that there is a demonic aura again?"

After the little head finished speaking, it seemed that he remembered something terrible again. He retracted his head again into the back of the walker's robes.

The walker could only helplessly touch the bare head of the little head, and he comforted the little monk and said, "Don't worry, Master can assure you that there is no demonic energy here at all." ”

Hearing the words of the walker, the little monk finally regained his courage. He began to cough twice like an adult, and finally he looked like a man again.

But the next words of the walker made him almost hate his master to death.

The walker said, "There is no demonic energy here at all. Because what appears here is a ghost. ”

As soon as the walker's words fell, a fierce scream was heard not far away.

"Recite the Jizo Sutra. ”

The walker only said a few words to the little monk, and then disappeared in the blink of an eye.

But the little monk seemed to be very experienced with this kind of thing, and he sat cross-legged on the ground in an orderly manner, folded his hands and recited the scriptures.

The supreme and profound subtlety

Millions of catastrophes have been encountered

I have seen and heard and received it

May the understanding be as true as it comes

Nan no Master Shakyamuni Buddha

......

The little monk chanted slowly, and a circle of light began to emanate from his body, and the circle of light rippled, and slowly spread out to the surroundings.

There was a slight movement in the sky in the distance, and with a sound like a dragon's groan, a walker and a black shadow appeared on the side of the little monk again.

At this moment, the Yin Qi on the walker's body was entangled, but he was forced out with that strong internal force. But the black shadow on the other side was just as unhappy, it was half-kneeling on the ground, blood gushing from the corners of its mouth.

The walker spoke slowly: "I was still wondering before, how could the ghosts be so common when the yin qi in this place is so strong. It turned out that it was because of the existence of soul shepherds here. ”

As if he had been seriously injured, the black shadow held up his weak voice, and he also opened his mouth with compassion: "If there is a great wisdom and sage monk here today, coupled with the unfathomable strength of you, the guardian monk, I am afraid that I will really die here." But now it's just you, with such a little guy, although I can't defeat you, do you think you can stop me?"

The black shadow continued to say gloomily: "It seems that there is really no one in the Buddha Gate, and a guardian warrior monk is actually trying to lead out a great wise monk, so ridiculous." ”

The practitioner did not refute, as if the words spoken by the other party were the reality of Buddhism today. The walker could only watch the dark shadow slowly, and finally disappeared in place, and after a long time, he slowly raised his head and looked into the distance again.

"If you were still here, how could Buddhism be so decaying? ”

The Dizang Sutra continued to be recited, and the little monk seemed to be completely oblivious to the outside world and everything that had happened before. After a long time, with the fall of the sentence "Amitabha", the little monk began to slowly open his eyes.

"Master, I've finished reciting the Jizo Sutra. The little monk said to the walker with a serious expression.

It seemed that some light had melted into the little monk's body, and he looked at those scenes like fireflies with joy, dancing with his hands.

After a long time, he turned around, and he asked the walker, "Master, what are these beautiful things?"

The walker smiled and patiently explained to him: "These things are called merits, and only the most kind-hearted people can have them. ”

The little monk asked again: "Then am I the kindest person in this world?"

The walker touched his head and said yes, he was the kindest man in the world.

The little monk happily ran away.

The kindest person may be really, only this child who has not yet entered the world.

The walker looked at the child again. He seemed to be saying to himself: "It is also a Huigen that is rare in a century." But Yunshui, when will you be as good as him?"

The walker took his bags and summoned the little monk named Yunshui.

The walker said, "Get up, we still have a long way to go."
