Chapter 7: Opening Remarks

Seeing that girl again, Seungjun was a little surprised.

She was wearing black high rubber shoes and thick overalls to keep out the cold, and the gray-blue uniform looked extremely ill-fitting on her. She stood stout at the foot of a small snow-capped mountain, like a communications cable inspector who had gone in the wrong direction. Her hair was still tied, and the scattered hair at the corners of her forehead was fluffy and fluffy like a dandelion.

The temperature in the ice room must have been very low, and her cheeks flushed.

The glass curtain wall is blocked by a row of masts, and the outside of the mast is crowded with tourists. Most of the children are at the front, and most of the parents' eyes are fixed on their children, and the penguins are because they are all dragging their children. The young couple huddled on the side, the girl seemed to be touched by the uncle next to her, and the girl's boyfriend was not very happy, so he dragged his girlfriend away. As soon as the people in the first row are dispersed, a new cluster of people will immediately fill in, Seungjun always stands at the back, anyway, he is tall, it doesn't matter.

Seungjun felt his leg lightly scratched by something. He turned his head and saw a young mother and son standing beside him. The little boy has a large dolphin doll under his arm, which is exactly the same as the one Seungjoon picked up in the car, except that the dolphin does not have a swimming ring on it, and it is also larger. It was the tail of this doll that rubbed Seungjun.

The little boy always wanted to squeeze forward, but the boy's mother dragged him. The young woman was carrying a large backpack with the mouth open and the head of a ragdoll polar bear poking out. The woman looked exhausted with a sad face, as if she had crossed thousands of rivers and mountains alone with her child.

With the unremitting efforts of the little one, he still forced himself to the front, and the boy's mother refused to let go, and passively followed her child into the crowd.

The girl wore rubber gloves on her hands, she raised her hand and wiped the loose hair on her forehead with her wrist, she had a low ponytail today, and a large braid swept behind her back. The girl carefully opened the incubator and began her clumsy feeding work. At least that's what Seungjoon thinks. Her movements are incoherent. It's not that serving penguins is a tedious and meticulous job.

Just with her posture and speed, she might have to spend more time in that icy place.

There was laughter from time to time in the crowd, and people seemed to be happy. Seungjun took a few steps back, and before he knew it, he had been standing here for more than twenty minutes. He watched as the girl picked fish from the incubator and handed them out one by one to the penguins gathered around her. There are many varieties of penguins, they are tall, short, fat and thin, some have obvious differences in appearance, and some are very subtle and need to be carefully observed. The girl would sometimes stop what she was doing, and she tugged at the penguins' wings to check the number plates she had on them. The food is rationed and cannot be fed to the same one over and over again. But there are always guys who are extra greedy. They gobbled it up, then hurried forward. And some penguins are very bold and will peck the fish in her hand hard, and every time this happens, her hand will retract back like a spring, and then forward. At this moment, a little guy with white eyes walked around behind the girl, and it quickly jumped into the incubator. The girl hurriedly drove it away with her hands. But that little white eye circle was not kind at all, and he actually fanned her with wings. She dodged left and right, and a few more daring ones took advantage of this gap to lean forward, and she began to wave her arms again to drive them forward. The scene got out of control for a while, and people's laughter came and went.

She's so stupid.

Seung-joon turned and left the area.

Coming out of the penguin ice room, it was half past four in the afternoon. There is still an hour left until closing. I took off my heavy winter uniform, relieved myself for a while, and then hurried to the locker room.

From winter to summer, it only took me fifteen minutes.

The afternoon session of the small theater has all ended, and the huge venue is empty.

"Vier!"

I turned around and saw Peter standing behind me in a swimsuit. He joined the company in the same year as me and is also a trainer.

"Come and see Vara?" Peter grinned.

"yes. How is its appetite today? Do you eat too much? ”

Peter smiled and nodded, "Good as always~ uh.. By the way, Vielle, do you have time for the night? ”

"What? Want to ask Mina out again? ”

Peter nodded shyly.

"Then you just go and ask her, what are you always looking for me for~"

Mina, a slick southern girl and a trainer, had been recruiting for a short time before Peter had been interested in Mina. Peter is the kind of honest boy who is not good at words and has a sullen temper.

The two are co-workers, seven days a week, and six days are together to be together. I'm going to wait for the other person to discover my goodness gradually.

I think Peter probably thinks so, I haven't asked him for confirmation.

"Anyway, you're a bachelor, instead of going home and eating dog food by yourself, it's better for everyone to get together and eat hot pot~" Peter said leisurely.

"I'm not going to help you this time anyway."

"What is wrong with you today?"

"That's right~ I made an appointment."

......

"Alright, alright, if you run into one in the locker room later, I'll ask her."

The small theatre has two performances a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and one more on the weekend. Forty-five minutes per session. The rest of the time we spent doing discipline exercises and doing some group training. My partner is a three-year-old bottlenose dolphin named Vara. Vara was born in the Marine Rescue and Breeding Center, and by natural terms, she is no longer considered an indigenous person of the sea.

I've always felt that the heavens weren't fair to it, because it had never been to the vast ocean, the place where it was really born.

Approaching the taming pond, I took a light step, but the slippers under my feet would carry it to the water, and Vara, who was in the water, quickly noticed the movement on the shore.

The calm surface of the water was suddenly broken, and from far to near, a small gray dome appeared on the surface of the water.

Vara pokes its head out of the water, its long, narrow beak that opens and closes, and makes a distinctive call. I tapped its mouth with my finger, and it immediately dived into the water mischievously and swooped up again. It barked and made a large splash with its tail. I crouched down beside Vara and gently stroked its back with my hand, which swayed happily.

It's always a lot of friction for girls to change their clothes. I sat on the lounge stool and flipped through my phone, catching a glimpse of Mina still swaying in her underwear. She wore her hair loose, just like Sadako.

"What do you want to eat at night?"

"I'll ask Peter in a moment." I said without looking up.

"He's a person, you don't have to ask, you can definitely eat anything."

"Peter is more accommodating."

Mina was no longer talking, she was slowly combing her hair.

"Vier, what are you looking at?" She suddenly approached me and glanced at my phone. "Traffic accident compensation case? How? You're not done with that? Didn't you say that the other party was planning to be private? ”

"I'll just take a look. Hurry up, Peter is still waiting outside. I'm hungry! I hurriedly closed my phone and diverted the subject.

Whoever asks about this is an understatement. Because there's no way to go into detail.

I watched Mina untie the beautiful balls twice and tie them twice, and she turned her back to me and said, "Is it crooked?" ”

"Not crooked."

"Really?"

"Positive."

"Is it flabby enough?"

"It's good."

Mina looked left and right in the mirror in the locker before closing the door.

Mina and I came out of the staff aisle and didn't see Peter. Send him a message and he says he's at the gate. We were going in that direction as well.

Peter stood next to a giant sea lion statue in the square, with a shady patch below. β€œPeter!” Mina shouted at Peter's back. Peter didn't react, he tilted his head, as if attracted to something.

"What to see... So seriously.." Mina muttered.

The sea lion statue blocked Mina's and Mina's view of the road to the left. As the two of us slowly got closer, the thing that attracted Peter finally came to me.

It was a silver-gray sports car.

My heart "chuckled". I stopped, standing still.

It can't be that person, right?!

"What's wrong with you? Vier? Mina also stopped, and she looked at me, a little puzzled.

"Huh? You're both pretty fast~" Peter heard the movement as well, and he turned around and walked briskly towards us.

"Nothing. I remembered that I seemed to have left the key in the cupboard, and I had to go back and get it. Why don't you two go to the subway station and wait for me first~ It's weirdly hot outside~"

"Then I'll go back with you~ Let Peter go first."

"Uh... No need~ No need~ You guys go first, I'll go over to you in a while~"

When I couldn't get out of it, the door of the car suddenly opened, and Jing Chengjun got out of the cab. He stretches himself like a folder. He looked at me, the corners of his mouth curled. He closed the car door and walked over to the three of us.

"Sister Wei'er, you... Know this person? Mina asked, in a suppressed voice.

"Huh!? I don't know! I panicked and said casually.

Peter turned his face to look at Mina, his expression full of inner drama, "You know?" ”

"How could I have known!" Mina's voice was small and her tone was impatient.

Jing Chengjun walked in front of us. "It's time to get off work." He didn't seem to ask.

Mina and Peter both looked at me.

I nodded, and the movements were mechanical.

"Do you have time now?"

"Vier? Didn't you say you didn't know him? Mina looked at me, and then at Jing Chengjun, with a puzzled expression.

It's really a pot that can't be opened......

Jing Chengjun looked at me softly, "You said that?" ”

"I didn't say that!"

Mina looked at me incredulously, and Peter looked at me in amazement. I just couldn't hide.

I was in a hurry to say the wrong thing; How could I not know you; Of course I know you! Do I need an explanation? I......

My language is so pale!

Jing Chengjun smiled, "It's nothing." She may have forgotten all about that night. ”
