Chapter 102: The Sorrowful Gidero
Alan actually admired the liar in front of him! If it's not a natural love of showing off, with such a thick skin, it's not bad to be a cunning politician!
"I see that you all bought my full set of books – good. I guess we're going to do a little quiz today. Don't be afraid—just see how well you read and how much ...... you comprehend."
Gilderoy finished handing out the papers, returned to the pulpit and said, "Give you thirty minutes." Now – let's go!"
Eren looked at the scroll, what is the connection between these questions and Defence Against the Dark Arts!
1. What is Gilderoy Lockhart's favourite colour?
2. What is Gilderoy Lockhart's secret ambition?
3. What do you think is Gilderoy Lockhart's greatest achievement to date?
And so on, on three sides of paper, and the last question is:
54. What is Gilderoy Lockhart's birthday, and what is his ideal birthday present?
Half an hour later, Lockhart put the test paper away and looked through it in front of the class.
"Tsk – almost no one remembers my favorite lilac. I mentioned it in "A Year with the Tibetan Yeti". A few of my classmates would like to read Wandering with Werewolves again—I made it clear in Chapter 12 that my ideal birthday present would be for all who can and can't do magic to get along with each other—but I wouldn't say no to a large bottle of Ogden Aged Flame Whiskey!"
He winked mischievously at them again. But just now, his image was too impressive in the minds of the students, and many boys laughed out loud unceremoniously.
At this point, Alan raised his hand, "Ah, I remember you, excellent student Alan Harris, my book lover! Gildelow saw Allen and pulled out Allen's paper. "Full marks, Alan answered all my questions, and all of them got it right! Great!" Lockhart said with a laugh, "Very good!
In fact, Alan is just not used to leaving all his test papers empty, and he doesn't want to tear his face with Gildelow so quickly, after all, the other party is a professor, and it's not fun to be on guard!
Alan made an admiring expression, feeling that he could award himself an Oscar trophy, "Professor, speaking of the snowman, no one has been able to get close to it yet, except for you!"
Gildero enjoyed the compliment, and the Ravenclaw boys looked at Alan incredulously, and if they hadn't heard it with their own ears, it would have been hard to imagine that such words came from the lips of Allen, a recognized wise man.
"Of course, I can get close to it, it's very friendly to me. Gilderoy looked at Alan affectionately.
"In that case, you've been living with the snowman for a year, how did you avoid being devoured by it, and what was it afraid of?" said Allen, unceremoniously.
Many of the brilliant Ravenclaws saw the problem and looked at Professor Gilderoy Lockhart with suspicion.
You know, the snowman is recognized by the Ministry of Magic as a four-star magical creature, an animal native to Tibet, and it is believed that there is a necessary connection between it and the troll, but no one has yet been able to get close to this animal for the necessary testing. Yeti can reach fifteen feet tall and are covered from head to toe with pure white hair. The most important thing is that anything that hits it while it is walking will be swallowed by it. The Yeti is afraid of fire, and a skilled wizard may be able to drive it away, but for a year of intimate contact with it, no wizard has ever done it except for Lockhart's own description.
Professor Lockhart was clearly overwhelmed by Allen's question. "This ...... Well...... Perhaps you have to look for the answers in the books yourself, and the library and the sports field should be your best friends for life. Now, let's get down to business......"
He stooped down and took out a large covered cage from behind the podium and placed it on the table.
"Now—beware! I'm on a mission to teach you the worst things the wizarding world has to know! But remember, as long as I'm here, you'll not be harmed. All I ask is that you remain calm. ”
Many students poked their heads out from behind the tall books and leaned forward in anticipation, while a small number of students shrunk back with frightened expressions.
"I must ask you not to scream," Lockhart said in a low voice, "that would anger them!"
The class held their breath as Lockhart lifted the hood.
"Yes," he said, as if playfully, "the Cornish elf we just caught!"
There was a commotion in the classroom, and many Ravenclaws had disapproving expressions on their faces, this thing was not even a magical creature, and it was really impossible to see what was terrifying!
These little elves were iron-blue, about eight inches tall, with small pointed faces and very sharp and piercing voices, as if many budgies were arguing. As soon as the covers were removed, they began to chirp, jump up and down, shake the cage grille, and make all sorts of weird grimaces at those who came nearby.
"Alright," Lockhart exclaimed, "look what you guys do with them!" he opened the cage door.
Eren immediately cast a confusion spell aimed at the crowd. The Cornish elves froze for a moment, then turned their bodies to Gilderoy Lockhart, screaming and pounced on them, while some of the elves slyly grabbed the inkwell and threw it at Gildero, picking up the book and throwing it at Gildero. They tear clothes, pull hair, and pull ears......
Professor Gilderoy Lockhart was so embarrassed that he waved his wand and shouted, "Peschipixipestromy!"
To no avail, an elf grabbed Lockhart's wand and threw it out the window.
Lockhart gasped and ran out the door, not forgetting to instruct, "It's time to test you, get these elves back to their cages!"
He slammed the door shut, and a few nimble elves luckily slipped out and chased Gildero. The rest of the elves began to bang on the door desperately.
After pulling Crow, the classmates looked at each other, and they were clever enough to realize that Gilderoy Lockhart might not be as good as he wrote in his book, and seemed to be very unlearned!
The question now for the Ravenclaws is how to catch these grumpy little ones. Professor Lockhart has learned from the past, and no one wants to touch the mold.
Alan suddenly got up, drew his wand, and "quickly froze", and the elves were all frozen and fell to the ground with a plop. The Ravenclaw classmates looked at Alan in admiration, and Professor Lockhart's embarrassed and powerless Cornish elves who could only run away were so vulnerable in front of Allen! Alan was so much better than Professor Lockhart!
Everyone picked up the frozen elves, stuffed them back into their cages, and then followed in Alan's footsteps and left the classroom.
