On the Tao

This summer, my family followed the tour group to Shapotou in Yinchuan for sandboarding, and I felt an indescribable joy and excitement in my heart. When I arrived at my destination, I looked around and felt like I had reached a sea of sand. Surrounded by sand mountains "built" by the wind, I hurriedly took off my shoes and ran happily and frantically on the sand. At this moment, I suddenly realized that the sand here is not the granular sand that we usually see, but the kind of powdery sand surface that feels soft to the touch, no wonder it is so comfortable to touch! And it was very dazzling when the sun shone brightly, as if it was sprinkled with gold. Looking down, a beautiful silver "necklace" zigzags through the sandy mountains. It turns out that it is our "mother river" ----- the Yellow River. From a high place, the water of the Yellow River flows so quietly, slowly and silently. With the flow of people, we came to the sandboarding place together, and with my father's repeated encouragement, I finally mustered up the courage to sit on the skateboard and "rushed" down quickly, and there was really a feeling of "flying down 3,000 feet" at that time. When I arrived at the bank of the Yellow River, I saw that the water of the Yellow River was not as calm as it was just now. When encountering large rocks or whirlpools, it will also roll up layers of spray. There are a variety of flowers and plants planted on the shore, as well as an octagonal pavilion and cloister for visitors to rest. From time to time, you can see the unique vegetation in the desert, "camel thorns". In order to exercise my courage and strong will, Dad, we took a sheepskin raft, a unique means of transportation commonly used by people on the banks of the Yellow River, and went on a thrilling rafting in the turbulent water. On the way back, we sat on the back of a camel, known as the "Ship of the Desert". With the afterglow of the setting sun, listening to the crisp camel bells, the day's journey ended. My summer vacation life is colorful, and the trip to Sand Lake has made me have endless memories. 2004-10-13

Sand Lake Row

Early in the morning, we set off from Yinchuan and after a 30-minute drive, we arrived at Shahu. Sand and water depend on each other, sand holds water, water surrounds sand, Nansha North Lake, this is the unique scenery of Sand Lake. Entering the Sand Lake Scenic Area, we boarded a sightseeing boat that can carry 65 people. On the surface of this vast lake, there are large and small scattered reeds, one in the east and one in the west, which become the green banner of the sand lake rippling in the wind, welcoming the arrival of tourists from all directions. The lake water is clear and green, sparkling, sitting on a boat to gaze at the beauty of the sand lake, from time to time and the lush reeds passing by, they are so beautiful, just like a girl in the south of the Yangtze River water town, only then do you really feel the beauty of the sand lake, and the beauty is on the reeds swaying in the wind. It is these dotted and dense green landscapes that decorate the sand lake with splendid colors. The tour guide told us that the roots of those reeds are not touching the ground, they are tightly hugged together, forming a reed thicket, they can stand up on the water, just like a floating island, although floating with the wind, but will never scatter and lodging, it is really amazing, from them I see the indomitable spirit of close unity, they seem to tell us, in any difficult and difficult environment, do not be discouraged and retreat, as long as the group is condensed into a force, no matter how weak the group can still survive, just like the tenacious reeds in this sand lake。 The boat arrives at the sand bank, jumps into the eyelids of the yellow and clear golden sand dunes, steps on the rolling sand dunes, stands on the top of the mountain and looks into the distance, behind the endless desert, in front of the rippling lake, the water in front of the water, the wonder of the sand and water is really beautiful. What a plugged into Jiangnan!

A trip to Yisha Lake

When I was tidying up my room, I saw a bottle of sand, which reminded me of the summer vacation in 2004 when my grandparents took me to visit the Sand Lake in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Sand Lake is a wonder. We're going to take a boat and cross a big lake to the other side. The lake is so big that you can't see the edges, and there are reeds growing in the middle of the lake, and here and there, you can reach out and touch them when the boat passes by. After about ten minutes, we reached the opposite bank. When you step out of the pier, you will see an endless desert in front of you, and several caravans greet visitors by the dunes. I rode the first camel of the caravan and the camel took me up to the dunes. When I went up to the top, I could see the rolling sand dunes on the left and the endless lake on the right...... , I think the most fun thing is to ride an ostrich. The ostrich has a small head, big eyes, a slender neck, and thick and powerful legs, but it only has two toes! When riding an ostrich, the staff first covers the ostrich with a black cloth on its head so that it cannot see anything, otherwise it will throw you down! My uncle carried me on the back of the ostrich, and there was something like a saddle on the back of the ostrich, and if you grasped it with your hands, it would not fall off. The ostrich started running! At first I felt quite comfortable, a bit like horseback riding. As the speed increased, the more I tossed, the more I tossed, and I almost fell off the back of the ostrich! Because my father didn't go to Sand Lake, I specially filled a bottle of sand for my father, and it also left me with a good memory of Sand Lake.
