Chapter 52: Liu Xian's Desire
The content of the Taiping Sutra is extensive, involving heaven and earth, yin and yang, the five elements, the ten branches, disasters, immortals, etc.
It also constructed the early Taoist idea of "the unity of heaven and man"; The theory of yin and yang and the five elements outlined an ideal social picture, and put forward a set of "non-action and non-action" ruling technique; put forward the self-cultivation technique of the monastics; He put forward the concept of good and evil retribution of common property and self-reliance, and pointed out that only when people believe in the Tao can they cut off disasters and become immortals; It also reflects the simple people-oriented ideas of egalitarianism and the ideal of equality.
……
Strange book! This is really a rare book.
Not to mention anything else, it is the simple people-oriented idea of egalitarianism and the ideal of equality put forward in the Taiping Sutra. Zhang Ze felt that it was very much in line with some advanced ideas of later generations. It can be said that it is simply ahead of its time.
Of course, this is just an idea, an ideal. And Zhang Jiao may be a practitioner of this kind of thinking and ideal. How it turned out is already visible. Failed.
But these are not the most important things for Liu Xian.
No matter how the world constructed by the Taiping Sutra is a desirable Taiping world, no matter what kind of ruling techniques the Taiping Sutra proposes to rule and manage this world, and no matter how the Taiping Sutra proposes how to educate the world, what kind of property is shared, and what kind of good and evil are rewarded.
Liu Xian felt that these were all false.
If that world doesn't exist, then nothing exists.
That's all a fantasy, just an ideal. The so-called equalism and the ideal of equality will always be only an ideal, and as long as it is the human world, it will never be possible to achieve true equality.
At most, we should try our best to achieve relative equality, objectively and ideologically. But in reality, everyone knows that it is impossible to achieve the kind of true equality of all people.
For example, people are indeed born, old, sick and die, and everyone cannot escape the framework of this heaven and earth, in a broad sense, this is indeed a kind of equality of the natural way of heaven and earth, everyone is like this, no one can make exceptions, there is life and there must be death. From a transcendent point of view, this means that all beings are equal.
In a narrow sense, the same rice feeds a hundred kinds of people, but the same people have different fates. Everyone is born different, which means that since birth, there has been inequality. Some people are born rich and can be born to enjoy things that others will not get in their lifetime. And some people are born poor and lowly.
Everyone's living environment is different, and the level of education they can receive is different, which causes their personalities, abilities, and so on. The work you will engage in in the future will be different, the job position will be different, and the harvest will be different. Then the enjoyment and enjoyment will be different, and the achievement will be different.
Even if they are twins, they are born the same and have the same resources to receive education, but their personalities and abilities will be different, and the jobs and achievements they will engage in in the future will also be different.
Some people are born smart and smart, while others are stupid by nature. Some people are born handsome, handsome, and handsome, while others are born disabled, deaf and dumb.
With so many differences, how can we achieve a truly peaceful and equal world?
Such a world did not exist before, does not exist now, and will not exist in the future.
Regarding these, Liu Xian only took a cursory look, and did not deliberately delve into this set of inaction and inaction ruling techniques.
As a traverser, Liu Xian actually knows very well what a world needs to be relatively peaceful, tranquil and stable, and what to do to achieve that relative equality.
To put it bluntly, all this is a matter of one's own strength and one's own power.
As the ancestor said in later generations, the barrel of the gun comes out of power.
Only when you have a strong power can you make rules and regulations. With rules and regulations, let everyone abide by them and live under the framework of such rules and regulations. Only under such circumstances can it be possible to achieve a peaceful world of relative equality.
This is the Fa. Rules and rules are the law, they are the law, and everyone has to uphold the law to obey.
So, seriously, if it's about this stuff, as a time-traveler, a modern person who has experienced the bombardment of the Internet era in later generations, a person who is barely highly educated. He may not be able to do it, but when it comes to theory, he still has one set after another.
In the final analysis, in fact, everything has to be carried out according to the actual situation, and no matter what kind of ruling technique or law, in addition to some laws that are suitable for any era, it is also necessary to formulate some laws that are reasonable and in line with the laws of realistic development according to the actual situation at that time.
In general, this Taiping Sutra contains the ancient Taoist thoughts, Fang Xian Dao, and Huang Lao Dao thoughts, and is the product of the transformation of these academic ideas into religious beliefs, and it is also a manifesto in the initial brewing and formation process of the Taoist sect.
Liu Xian, who is also quite a researcher of ancient history, can actually compile some ruling techniques and strategies for the development of this Taoist religion that are more suitable for the development of the current era based on some modern and classical books he has read.
But what's the use of all this? No matter what you say, in such a troubled world, a small soldier and a cold arrow can kill you.
Liu Xian knew very well what he needed, what he needed was that the part of this Taiping Sutra involved the cultivation of Taoist immortals.
If there really exist those Taoist and immortal techniques in this world, and when there really exists the Taiping True Qi that Zhang Jiao talked about in his last letter, then this is what Liu Xian wants.
In the postmodern era, there are too many explanations of the true qi of the inner family in martial arts, and in later online literature, the theory of cultivating immortals appeared.
Naturally, these martial arts and immortal theories do not mean that they only appeared in postmodern times, in fact, these legends have always been in China. It's just that in the postmodern era, almost all the exercises have been lost, and occasionally there are some rumors, which are probably just personal chances.
It can be said that in the post-modern era, there is basically no way to obtain those cultivation methods, and it is not even possible to confirm whether there will be such mysterious cultivation methods in this world.
Liu Xian wants to become stronger, eager to have a strong personal strength like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Only strength is the foundation of survival in this world.
Only then can you develop your own power in this world and realize your ambitions.
