Chapter 1317: Drill Code
Chapter 1317 Drill Code
Southeast of Lingzhou, Naphthalene Liping.
Liu Yanshan has now changed into the skin color of the Wupin civil official of the Great Song Dynasty, and the hair on the top of his head has not yet grown, so he only takes off the surrounding circle, and then wraps a black headscarf and wears a hood.
The Liu family in Yanzhou also benefited greatly because of Liu Yanshan's timely refuge, and Zeng Xiao's salt and grain accumulated by the Liu family were all purchased with a wave of his hand.
With the money from selling salt and grain, the Liu family also purchased four ** cars, spiral water trucks, and large farming machinery especially suitable for the northwest - cocoon carts through Zeng Xiaokuan's relationship.
There is also a large amount of cement that can be used to renovate the existing salt pans.
The children of the Liu family have been from literature for generations, and there are also clan studies in the clan, Zeng Xiaokuan recruited a lot of Liu family members to help him, and saw that the Liu family was about to develop.
When the rest of the families saw this situation, they all reported their benefits, so Zeng Xiaokuan had a much better life than Fan Chunren, and it was not uncommon for the imperial court to choose officials.
Just selling the official mantle to the local gentry has already taken enough start-up funds and talents to develop Jiuyuan Road.
Liu Yanshan was very grateful to the Great Song Dynasty, and he was determined to serve the Great Song Dynasty, and even Zeng Xiaokuan did not do it with the post of Yanzhou Governor, and took the initiative to ask to act as the leading party for the East Road Wangshi.
The first of the Great Song Dynasty is the suzerain, the second is to hang the people and fight crimes, and the third is to save the Xia Lord. Liu Yanshan is not as hypocritical as Wang Chong, and he has a thought or two of his homeland, he thinks that as long as he pinchs these three to death, his traitorous behavior is completely legal, just, and does not violate morality.
As for whether there is a disturbed conscience in the middle of the night, whether there is a sleepless climb up and wander around the yard, outsiders do not know.
A heavy snowfall caused the army to march a few days later than expected, and it was not until today that a huge pass appeared in front of it.
Liu Yanshan pointed to the snow-covered trees hanging on the slopes on both sides of the pass: "Captain Yu, this is Naphthalene Liping, and Naphthalene Liping is Ma Lianyi." ”
"Ma Lianyi is the first post station from Yanzhou to Lingzhou, so if we get here, we can be regarded as arriving in Lingzhou!"
"There are plum trees on both sides of the hillside, and if you pass here at the end of March, the mountain will be full of white plum flowers."
He inspected the terrain: "Set up camp two hours early today, waiting for the scout in front to return. Sun Xietong. ”
Sun Neng arched his hand: "Yes." ”
He raised his chin to the pass: "Do you see the high ground on both sides ahead?" Let the new army occupy it first, and escort the army into the Lingzhou border tomorrow. ”
"Yes!" Sun Neng dialed his horse and beckoned the team to go.
Tong Guan came over with a horse: "Captain, why didn't the army enter?" The imperial court order transferred by Zeng Gong was to ask our troops to step up their march and join forces with Gao Taiwei as soon as possible. ”
He said, "How can I not know? But now that Liang Yongneng has not appeared, do you guess that he is in front of us, on the side, or behind? ”
After speaking, he raised his whip and pointed to the pass ahead: "When I pass here, he won't have a chance." So, I decided to wait for him. ”
After the introduction of the latest compilation of the book "Cavalry Drill Code of the Royal Military Academy", the trick of sneak attack was almost ineffective against the Song army.
The book was regarded as the "Firearms Cavalry Treasure Book" by the commanders of the cavalry of the new army, and according to the three aspects of attack, defense, and retreat, the book carried out extremely detailed tactical thinking, tactical principles, and detailed explanations of the tactical drill code for the new cavalry tactics.
Take defense as an example, the "Code of Conduct" first explains that cavalry is a branch of the army that is good at attacking and advocating offense, so even if it is defensive, it must be "elastic defense".
This is tactical thinking, and under the guidance of tactical thinking, tactical principles need to be matched to it.
Taking defense as an example, the defense principle of cavalry, because of the existence of offensive tactical thinking, must also be an "offensive defense principle".
Therefore, the defensive battle of the cavalry is more temporary, and should be ready to turn to maneuver or attack at any time, which in turn establishes the timing of the cavalry's defense:
The first is to prepare and cover for the next attack, when it is necessary to buy the necessary time;
secondly, when it is to cover the flank and rear operations of friendly forces, as well as to serve as a vigilance mission for the Synthetic Corps;
There is also the time to cover the advance of the main force and contain the retreat of friendly forces.
At the same time, the tactical thinking of cavalry defensive battles was determined, which mainly depended on:
correct judgment of the battlefield situation;
the use of geographical environment according to local conditions;
make appropriate use of all their firearms and technical weapons;
Bold action and quick transitions.
The above contents are collectively referred to as the "Military Principles for Offensive Defense of the New Cavalry," and from each of these principles, the "Regulations" have been compiled.
Let's take cavalry defense as an example:
For the selection of defensive positions, it is necessary to follow the basic military principles of defense and select favorable position terrain - generally choose large obstacle areas with natural obstacles, especially hills, forests, rivers and other large obstacles that can form obstacles for chariots, as a necessary condition for cavalry defense.
When the cavalry conducts positional defense, according to the surface of its defense area, it is divided into two types: narrow frontal defense and wide frontal defense, of which narrow frontal defense can be understood as surface defense, and wide frontal defense is called belt defense.
When carrying out a narrow frontal defense, the cavalry regiment must immediately send out scouts to search after determining the position.
In the case of a narrow frontal defense, the scout team can advance to 10 to 15 kilometers from the front of the position, and under the limit of the situation, it can be extended as far as possible, and can reach 25 kilometers, and be dispatched to a location that can approach the enemy to conduct a pre-battle intelligence search.
The main task of the cavalry regimental scout team is to detect the appearance of the enemy before the defending troops, and then to monitor them at any time, and after the appearance of the enemy, the scouts must use all means to determine their strength, formation, and the subsequent direction of the enemy's attacking force.
Under normal circumstances, depending on the size of the reconnaissance range, the scouts are in a team of five to twenty-five horses, and multiple teams carry out alternate, staggered, and covering searches to ensure the completion of the above tasks.
At the same time as the scouts set off, there were alert troops.
According to the order of the regiment commander, the alert unit was dispatched at the same time as the scout team, and went 1.5 to 2 kilometers forward to the various communication points at the front end of the position to carry out a reasonable fire network construction.
Combat-alert units must occupy points with good prospects and be able to shoot at enemy points from a distance. Its main task is to respond to scouts, block the enemy's vanguard small forces, so that they cannot advance to the front of the position, and force the enemy to deploy at a long distance, so as to prevent the enemy's main force from advancing smoothly and identify its deployment and direction of advance.
When attacked by an enemy with a superior position, or at risk of annihilation due to a detour of the enemy force, the combat alert force may, after being instructed, retreat to the main position, and the retreat path must be pre-detected so that it does not interfere with the firing at the front of the position, and the retreat of the alert force is usually covered by the support force.
The task of the support unit is to carry some supporting firepower and troops, such as serial cannons and ambush cannons, to support the vigilance unit in battle.
If the alert troops retreat and the enemy approaches more, immediately use artillery and fire nets to block the front of the position and prevent the enemy from attacking.
At the same time, it is necessary to identify the enemy's situation, and if the enemy is defeated or retreats, the stormtroopers will mount their horses and maneuver, advance from the flank direction and advance from the front of the position, and carry out a counterattack attack.
As far as the battlefield as a whole is concerned, the main task of the cavalry regiment for the enemy's attack is that when the enemy begins to attack and our main forces start a defensive battle, the regiment headquarters must try to make contact with the enemy's attacking troops.
In the process of defense, the main force is mainly relied on to fight to limit the enemy's attack in front of the position, while the artillery and the firepower of the main force can be adjusted at any time, in the hope of giving full play to its own firepower superiority in the direction of the enemy's main attack, and blocking the enemy's attack with a dense firepower network.
When the enemy's attack is frustrated, the cavalry regiment should resolutely maneuver out of the enemy's flanks and launch a short-distance charge attack on horseback in an attempt to annihilate the enemy's living forces.
When the enemy enters the defensive area, the commander of the cavalry regiment must instruct the SA to prepare and the direction of the charge, clearly give the SA a mission, and at the same time, give fire support to the fire unit to support the SA in a counterattack attack.
Therefore, it is more advantageous to be able to stop the enemy from the front and deal a decisive blow to the enemy's flank.
At the same time, in order to prevent the enemy from penetrating deep into the position, it is particularly advantageous if obstacles can be quickly set up in front of the enemy.
If, during a counterattack attack, the SA finds a stubborn enemy and the head of command, the SA must not hesitate to pounce on the enemy, and all the artillery in the position can directly cover the enemy without waiting for orders.
