A branch of the "Kokugaku-kaku" school is the Mito Doctrine, which refers to the Mito Domain. Mito Gaku, which originated from Tokugawa Mitsuki (1628-1701), the second head of the Mito Domain, was represented by the Daifuso History, which was revised in 1657 and remained unfinished until the end of the Edo period.
