Today's vegetable garden is actually a nursery and seed garden, which is divided into a variety of grain and economic crop species nursery fields, all of which are small plots, the largest of which is only two acres of land, and the field is planted with cocoa beans.

The rest of the crops are planted in an area of more than one acre, among which there are sugarcane seedling cultivation areas specially prepared for Xin'an City and Xiaowanshan Island, as well as spice cane planting areas cultivated for the reclamation of Zixia Island, all of which are independent plots, far away from the seedling area, and have special personnel responsible for taking care of them.

Up to now, the entire seed orchard has expanded to 500 acres of land, which is already the limit of the vegetable garden due to the limitation of water sources.

To the east of the vegetable garden until near the Red Mansion, there are now large bamboo forests and sisal fields, among which the bamboo grows the most luxuriantly, and by now these Mao Ci bamboos have grown into a large forest area, which is a bit unexpected by Lao Wang, who thinks that this plant has grown a little too fast on Mornington Island, and there is a great tendency to spread out without control, which makes Wang faintly worried---- is this the so-called ecological imbalance caused by alien species without natural enemies?

As for sisal, because it is used in industry, the planting area has reached more than 500 acres, and the plot connected to it is the real vegetable field, with a total of more than 300 acres, and all kinds of seasonal vegetables grow lush.

In addition, the whole river bay has become the world of sugarcane, there are a total of 1,200 acres of sugarcane land, planted with the sugarcane varieties specially selected by Anna for Lao Wang---- this is a sugar content of more than 10 percent, and two years three ripe excellent varieties, this kind of sugarcane is very different from the ordinary fruit cane in this time and space, not only long and straight, but also very thick.

To the south of the river bay to the coastline, there used to be a large area of artemisia grass flatland, but now it has been burned into a cotton and wheat planting area, of which there are 600 acres of cotton land and 400 acres of wheat land.

Not long ago, an acre of cocoa beans in Lao Wang's seed orchard was successfully planted, which made Lao Wang breathe a sigh of relief.

Since last year, Lao Wang has tried to grow many cash crops through simple greenhouses and potted plants, including various spices, industrial rubber grass and plant-based herbs, and of course, his and Wei brothers' little secret - hemp.

All of these crops survived! It seems that the seed varieties of the various cash crops that Anna collected for him are of good quality.

Cotton and sisal, in particular, were harvested very well, not only with high yields, but also resistant to pests and diseases.

In addition, there is another big industry that Lao Wang has not forgotten---- that is tobacco.

It's just that after harvesting cocoa beans a while ago, Lao Wang found a variety of chocolate production processes and recipes in the reference room, and then tried to use a kilogram of cocoa beans and some milk and sugar to make a few large pieces of chocolate candy.
