Character biography of the side story: Wang Xian

Wang Xian, born in Taiyuan Wang, Wang's lineage, the family of the Ninth Three Princes, has guarded Jingzhou for generations.

When he was a teenager, he studied with Chen Hongyi in Luoyang, Wang Xian compared himself to Cao Cao, and his temperament was bold and uneven, but his martial arts were low, and he often relied on Chen Hongyi to rescue him.

Because of his self-comparison with Cao Cao, he often recited Cao Cao's poems and texts, saying that the eldest husband could not be famous for a hundred years and would be stinking for ten thousand years. Once a hero saved the United States and burned down the Qinglou to violate the law, he was almost arrested by the imperial court for questioning, and the Wang family paid a lot of money to exonerate the crime.

When he was young, he rebelled in the north, crossed Jingzhou south with Chen Hongyi, formed a righteous army, appointed Chen Hongyi as a military advisor to train troops and govern the army, swept away the nine counties of Jingxiang, and blocked the many attacks of the Qin State established by the Hou family in the north.

After middle age, because of the emperor's suspicion, he collected money everywhere, and neglected to train his soldiers and horses, so that the combat strength of the Jingzhou army plummeted.

In his later years, he participated in the pacification of Su Shouzhong's rebellion, and once wanted to support Liu Ke as emperor, but was stopped by the family. During the reign of Emperor Ming, he worshiped Wang Xian as the general of the Great Sima Du to supervise the military of Jingyangqingxu Prefectures, and was knighted as the Duke of Danyang County, with 5,000 households.

After Wang Xian entered Yizhou in the summer of the third year of Yanchang, he once again organized a new army and prepared to go north. There are a lot of rewards for those who join the army in the land of Bashu, which removes the worries of the new army of Bashu and gives them allegiance to the death.

At the end of the third year of Yanchang, Wang Xian led the army into Chang'an, at first he was at odds with Li Xiaofei and others, and he was on guard against Li Xiaofei and Murong Ling, and he also made a lot of money in Chang'an. After the situation was critical, Wang Xian and Li Xiaofei and Murong Ling gave up their previous suspicions and jointly resisted the army of the Green Flag Khanate. Before the siege of the city, the imperial court sent an edict, crowning Wang Xian as the king of Danyang County, and encouraging Wang Xian to serve the country loyally.

On July 12 of the fourth year of Yanchang, Wang Xian died in Chang'an, and Li Xiaofei, Murong Ling, and the soldiers of the New Army desperately took Wang Xian's body out and sent it back to Chengdu.
