The monks nodded their heads, and this kind of answer can be regarded as a standard answer at the textbook level. Some people can't help but keep it in their hearts, thinking that if someone asks about it in the future, they will answer it in the same way.

To say yes is to compare yourself to the Buddha and to be arrogant. Saying no, it is tantamount to admitting that the temple does not need to be offered, since there is no need to make offerings, the sesame oil money, land property, taxes, should be repaid, right? What else to say?

Although Xuanzang is a Buddha with a quiet heart and is not disturbed by the world, this matter has a lot to do with it, and he does not dare to take it over. He looked back at the masters behind him, but who was the fool? Who doesn't know what's at stake? "You often say that all living beings are suffering, and my Buddha is compassionate. All sentient beings who are suffering believe in the Buddha and seek to cross. But I don't know, how did I get there? The Buddha didn't say anything, but you monks said, "Come, give me your money, give me your land, and the money and land are gone," and you say, "Don't you still have people who can farm for me and give away what you get." Ha, I want to ask, why? You say that you are accumulating good fortune, but I want to say, what if this good fortune is not accumulated? When it comes to the next life, I don't know what the next life will bring, I just know that in this life, I don't live a happy life! ”

"I believe in you to get help, but what help? If there is a Buddha, the Buddha should send me out of the sea of suffering, but you monks, let sentient beings enter the sea of suffering, I offer respect, offer incense, and ask for disaster. But you told me that the world has many lives, and it is destined, and the will of heaven cannot be violated, so I can only cultivate the blessings of this life for the sake of the future generations! How ridiculous! The Master also said that all beings are equal? Why are Bodhisattvas, Arhats, Dharma Protectors, and Bhikshus also ranked in the Mahavira Hall? Why did the abbot of Yongxin call me 'Hou Ye' when he saw me just now, and I, the Hou Ye, blocked your door, you can't help me, but what if it's an ordinary person? At this time, I'm afraid it has already been sent to the yamen, right? Your Majesty has decreed, you bald donkeys must obey the order, there is a newspaper seller at the next street, he asked you to do things, why don't you give money? All beings are equal, where is the equality? ”

"Hah! This is really, the Buddha knelt down for 3,000 years ago, and I didn't see my Buddha feel pity, and Mo Dao covered the eyes of the Buddha with dust, so he didn't invest in incense money! ”
