Chapter 7: Zhengjue Temple inscribes poems on Buddha

"Son, tomorrow is the New Year, when will I go home?"

"I'm not going home this year, I'm going to see Lucy at Lucy's house," my mother called early in the morning.

At this time, Yuan Qi was packing his luggage and preparing to leave, outside was a black casual dress with a striped shirt, a red tie, and a black satchel and walked out of the community. When I arrived at the passenger station, the station was crowded with people, all anxious to wait for tickets to go home for the New Year, and there were long queues at various windows, so that the queue would not be able to buy tickets until the Year of the Monkey. Look at the girl in front of her dragging a duffel bag, short and cute, seeing that her back is so familiar, she stepped forward and stood in front of her, and was a little surprised.

"Su Ling."

"Yuan Qi."

"Are you going home for the New Year?"

"Well, where are you buying tickets here?"

"Nanchong."

"I'm also Nanchong"

"We are on the same road, there are so many people here, I will come to stand," Su Ling walked out, and Yuan Qi stood in the queue. It is estimated that an hour later, Yuan Qi lined up to the window, and Su Ling stepped forward and stood next to Yuan Qi and took out her ID card.

"Two tickets to Nanchong."

Yuan Qi and Su Ling got into the car together, sat in their seats, and felt that the car was very stuffy. Pulling open her clothes to reveal her black tie, "hehe" let out a few bad laughs, I don't know what bad idea she was thinking again, she stretched out her hand to pull his red tie, this pull neck was tied very tightly, and it was hard to breathe.

"You're going to strangle me!"

She just "hehe" a few bad laughs and didn't speak. The mischievous grin is what makes her cute, and it gives him an indescribable love in his heart. Unconsciously fell asleep on the sofa chair, his head resting on Yuan Qi's shoulder. Yuan Qi looked at her falling asleep, stretched out his hand and gently touched her head, looking at the scenery outside the window. When the passenger car arrived at the terminal, Yuan Qi patted Su Ling, Su Ling opened her eyes, went to the trunk and took out her luggage and left. Yuan Qi hesitated with heavy steps and looked back at her back.

"Su Ling, I invite you to visit the temple fair tomorrow, do you have time?"

"Okay, there's time."

When he arrived at Lucy's house, his friend called and said, "Yuan Qi, have you arrived?" ”

"It's here, we haven't seen each other for a while, how about going to the temple fair together tomorrow?"

"Okay."

"Tomorrow at about nine o'clock in Hucheng to meet."

"Hmm."

Here he happened to know a few good friends, who had not seen each other for a while, and he missed them very much. At night, the sound of fireworks everywhere dispelled what should have been a quiet night, and the whole sky was like a sea of flowers, crackling all night, and it was another sleepless night. Before dawn, Yuan Qi was woken up by the sound of firecrackers, and when he turned over and got up, a strong ** smell wafted from the air.

"Young master, it's not dawn yet, why don't you sleep for a while?"

"Mother, I want to get up early to feel the lively atmosphere of this Spring Festival."

After breakfast, Yuan Qi went out for a run, and on the way back, look at this field, there are interspersed paths, the side of the road is overgrown with weeds, it seems that this path has not been walked for a long time. Looking at the houses, rivers and mountains in the distance, there is a hint of silence in my heart.

"Su Ling, haven't you gotten up, we're about to get ready to go."

"It's so early, it's 8 o'clock."

"Okay!"

"I'll have one more person here in a minute."

"Well, you can bring it together."

Yuan Qi walked slowly on the path, to a rural primary school, standing under the plane tree and looking at it, new shoots from the branches, it seems that they are not willing to be lonely, emerging from the branches, feeling the joy of the Spring Festival. Walking on the country road like this, he unconsciously arrived on the avenue leading to the town, standing by the road and waiting, when his friend called, "Yuan Qi, where are you?" ”

"Haven't set off yet, I'm waiting for someone."

"When will you get to Tiger City?"

"I'm calling her."

"We're going to go first, and we're waiting for you at the Zhengjue Temple."

"Okay, we'll see you soon."

"See you or leave you."

Yuan Qi stood beside the road, looked at these sparse vehicles, and took out his phone.

"Su Ling, where are you?"

"There are still some things at home that I can't leave yet, I'm sorry."

"Oh," Yuan Qi hung up the phone, feeling a kind of disappointment, but this is not to blame her, who doesn't have important things at home, extenuating circumstances, extenuating circumstances.

Su Ling's mother stood in the courtyard, looking into the distance, and three people walked out on the side of the tall bungalow, and the first one was an old woman, followed by a middle-aged man and a young man.

"Su Dongcheng, who do you think I brought here?"

The middle-aged man stepped forward and said with a smile: "Hello, this is the contemptible child Wei Chengmo." ”

"Uncle, auntie."

Su Ling walked out of the house and stood in front of her father, Su Dongcheng said, "This is my little daughter Su Ling, please come in, please come in." Su Ling followed her mother into the kitchen to prepare food, Su Ling sat in front of the stove to add some firewood, and the old woman walked into the kitchen.

"There's no need to prepare food, we've all eaten it."

Her mother and Su Ling stood next to her, Su Dongcheng, the old woman, the middle-aged man sat in front of the table, and the old woman said, "Look at their marriage... ”

The old woman looked at Su Ling, Wei Chengmo stood next to his father and said nothing, and said with a smile: "Look at this guy, he is very handsome, silent and silent, I think he is very compatible with your little girl, what else do you consider?" ”

"This also needs to look at the opinion of the little girl, this is the period of free love, and you always need to understand it for a while."

Sweating like rain, waving like clouds, this temple fair is crowded with people, Yuan Qi walked into the crowd, looked around, looking for a few friends, walked to a secluded corner, and took out his mobile phone.

"Where are you?"

"We're buying incense, you're here"

"Well, I'm here, just wait for me there, I'll come to you."

Yuan Qi and a few of his friends walked into the temple and looked up at this tall Buddha statue, showing its ** and dignity. They stood under this tall Buddha statue and knelt down and kowtowed, but Yuan Qi stood in front of them, arched his hands in front of them, bent down 90 degrees, and bowed.

"Yuan Qi, why don't you kneel?"

"I am a Confucian student, and it is not a mistake to practice Confucian etiquette, and it is not a matter of worship."

The two friends stood up and walked out of the temple together, Yuan Qi said as he walked: "Buddhism originated in India, created from the Buddha Buddha, after the extinction of the Buddha, more than 2,000 years, the gradual spread of the spread is mainly divided into several parts, the first Mahayana Buddhism, Hinayana Buddhism, Tantric Buddhism mainly spread in China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam and other places; Second, Northern Buddhism, Southern Buddhism, and Tibetan Buddhism are mainly spread in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Yunnan (Dai and other ethnic minority areas) in China. Thirdly, Chinese Buddhism, Pali Buddhism, and Tibetan Buddhism are mainly spread in China (Tibet, Mongolia, Yugu, Naxi and other ethnic areas) and Bhutan, Sikkim, Nepal, Mongolia, Russia (Buryatia), etc., after Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty to Emperor Ming Tianzhu Shamen came to China, and the court respected it and passed it on to later generations. Buddhism and Confucianism have a commonality, benevolence, kindness and filial piety, so they regard Confucianism as respectful and sincere. Yuan Qi walked out of the temple, stood on the high platform, looked at the endless flow of people, and said, "Do you want to hear the story of the Buddha cutting meat and feeding the eagle." ”

"Yes," they replied in unison.

"When Shakyamuni Buddha was walking on the path of the Bodhisattva in the past life, he met a hungry vulture, and was urgently chasing a kind pigeon, and the pigeon was panicked and frightened. The Bodhisattva asked, 'What do you need?' The eagle replied: 'I will eat meat.' Without saying a word, the Bodhisattva cut off the flesh from his arm to make amends, but the eagle demanded the same as the pigeon's flesh, and the Bodhisattva continued to cut the flesh on his body, but the more he cut it, the lighter and lighter it became, until the flesh on his body was almost cut off, and the weight was still not equal to that of the pigeon, and he asked the Bodhisattva, 'Now you should regret it,' the Bodhisattva replied, 'There is no thought of remorse,' and in order to convince the eagle, he continued: 'If what I say is true, the flesh of my body will grow and recover now.' As soon as he finished speaking, the flesh on his body immediately returned to its original state, and the vulture was moved and admired. ”

Yuan Qi told them this story as he walked, and unconsciously climbed to the top floor of the pavilion, leaning on the railing and standing, one of his friends said: "Brother Yuan Qi, your talent is well known, why don't you write a poem." ”

"Then I will be ugly in the next place, I hope you don't laugh."
