Chapter 172: Heavenly Master Society

Ni Ya!

For many people, this is an unfamiliar term!

Many people have never even heard of a place or a person's name! Or something else?

In fact, this is the name of a very small town under the jurisdiction of the Southern Tang Dynasty!

Although it has not been famous until now, it is a relatively remote place, and in this era of underdeveloped transportation and communication, there have been no vigorous events, and very few people know about it, so it seems very normal. Pen, fun, pavilion www. biquge。 info

At the beginning, this place was not called Ni Ya, but was named Xiongshi Town in the early Tang Dynasty, and because of its location and topography, it was valued by the local government. Because this place is full of bare mountains, the rocks are not strong and easy to shape.

The people of this era did not have a fixed name for this strange mountain rock, of course, later generations called this mountain stone karst landform. Because the stone is not particularly strong, the villagers can use it to make a variety of shapes at will, or they can be polished or mined without spending a lot of effort.

Because of the convenience of this mountain stone, the local government built many military forces in the mountainous area. Moreover, the famous Xiongshi Village was set up, which became a famous pass in the local area at that time.

And the name here was later changed to Ni Ya, but it was named because in the last years of the previous dynasty, Ni Ya, the general of the imperial court.

At that time, Guixi County was plagued by bandits all the year round, and the mountains were difficult to exterminate, so the imperial court sent Ni Ya, a general of Zhongcheng, to Yingtanfang to garrison, and appointed Ni Ya as the envoy of the town, and set up a military pass to prevent and control local bandits.

What I didn't expect was that this General Ni Ya lived up to the high expectations of the imperial court and actually wiped out the bandits near Guixi County in a short period of time.

At that time, because the Tang Dynasty was about to fall, when the dynasty really reached the end of its life, not only did the emperor have no time to take care of the troubles outside the capital, but the military strength of the imperial court was also divided.

The warlords of Raozhou, the local feudal town, were reluctant to care, because there was no half of the oil and water to speak of, and they felt a little resigned to seeing the bandits formed by this group of displaced people, but they would not stir up too much wind and waves. But in order to appease these local people, Raozhou Domain actually made an exception and passed the situation to the imperial court.

Originally, the local feudal towns of Raozhou no longer listened to the jurisdiction of the imperial court, and transferring this matter to the imperial court was actually an out-and-out joke, or an excuse to make themselves better and gather troops to expand their power. Of course, I also want to see how many catties and taels the court still has, and secondly, I also want to get some additional benefits.

After all, although this place does not seem to have much oil and water, but because of the two tributaries of Poyang Lake, the vast mountain and water basins of the Xinjiang River and the Shangqing River, there are actually many reasons for gathering. In fact, in the area where mountains and rivers are combined, any place can be said to have geographical advantages.

However, the warlords of Raozhou's feudal towns miscalculated, and the Tang Emperor of the year actually had a flash of inspiration, and he still saw a trace of the dignity of the court in this matter. Naturally, some of the officials below also echoed the emperor, so the decisions and wills of the imperial court were drafted, and they were born naturally.

That is, since the local feudal towns of Raozhou were unwilling to contribute to suppressing the bandits, the imperial court far away from the Tiangao Emperor could not manage it so far, but it just gave the imperial court an excuse at that time. That is, since your feudal town sent documents to the capital, the emperor would not be able to say if he did not send someone to suppress the bandits.

Considering the actual situation, if people are sent from the surrounding state capitals, Raozhou will definitely find more excuses. If you send a large army from the imperial court, it is even more of a joke, firstly, the current imperial court no longer has this strength, and secondly, it is not a major military action. However, the emperor who imagined Zhongxing still found an excuse for might, so he sent people to suppress the bandits.

For the capital of the Manchu Dynasty, which was a civil and military official at that time, being able to be sent to a local state capital was not only an opportunity for promotion, but also a kind of sadness of exile. It may be that the imperial court sent Ni Ya here because of a combination of various reasons.

Some people speculate that Ni Ya is a popular person next to the emperor, in order to show off his civil and military affairs for the emperor. However, when I saw what Ni Ya did, some people questioned whether it was the result of everyone's conjecture. On the contrary, some people believe that Ni Ya may be a close confidant of the emperor, but in order to overthrow the emperor at that time, he was squeezed out by a group of people with ulterior motives in the court. Or under the circumstances at that time, some people directly thought that it was Ni Ya's own reason, that Ni Ya offended a certain bigwig in the court.

Anyway, whatever happened back then, it's now history. But at that time, since the imperial court had already sent people, the emperor still equipped General Ni Ya with a team of thousands of people. In order to let Ni Ya defend this place for the imperial court with peace of mind, Ni Ya was equipped with sophisticated equipment to arm.

Presumably, Ni Ya led the team and came here all the way, and the feudal towns in Raozhou must have been a little blushing when they saw Ni Ya's team. Because at that time, although the local feudal towns were far away from the emperor and the imperial court, it was actually difficult for the imperial court to control, but the emaciated camel was bigger than the horse, and the imperial court had to equip a team of several thousand people, which was still much stronger than the local armed forces.

Then Ni Ya successfully quelled the bandits everywhere, and the emperor and the court were naturally happy, and Raozhou, as a local feudal town, naturally felt a little dumb to eat Yellow Lotus. The emperor had a premonition that his opportunity had come, and with a stroke of his pen, he specially sealed a Ni Ya king for Ni Ya, so that he could enjoy Ni Ya's fiefdom in this place.

In that era when the king could not be arbitrary, this title was still extremely lethal to some generals. What's more, the intention of the imperial court is obvious, and General Ni Ya has not been recalled since then, and the intention is obviously to contain the local feudal towns of Raozhou.

In fact, these are already a thing of the past, but because of General Ni Ya's entitlement, not only Yingtanfang has been famous in the world since then, but also the place where King Ni Ya lives has also been renamed Ni Ya since then.

Of course, the current King Ni Ya is long gone, and the imperial court has long since perished for decades. Even King Ni Ya and his descendants have gone to all directions with the war and the change of dynasty, and even the descendants who remain here in Ni Ya can no longer remember the glory of their ancestors.

Xiongshizhai still exists between the Xinjiang River and the Shangqing River, and it is also a famous pass in Guixi County. But now, due to the change of dynasty, this place is no longer what it used to be. However, because it is now in the territory of the Southern Tang Kingdom, it belongs to the territory of the Southern Tang Kingdom, the largest separatist force in the south, but it also has a bit of a leisurely meaning.

It is located in the middle of the territory of the Southern Tang Kingdom, although the Southern Tang Kingdom has experienced several battles in recent years, but the war has not affected here. Even if there is a conscription in the imperial court, it is already extremely rare for ordinary people.

It is rare to have a big war in peacetime, and the military built by Xiongshizhai has been repaired several times, and now stands high between two mountains. The large and wide passage under the walled gate has now become a place for local people to trade. Even the soldiers guarding the gate of the village have become accustomed to the calm here.

Today's Ni Ya is still relatively lively, on the left side of less than 300 meters below the Xiongshi Village, the quiet Xinjiang River flows slowly here. There are also five or six small fighting ships on the river, which are also the fighting ships of the Southern Tang State stationed in Poyang Lake, which are usually dispatched here to assist Xiongshizhai.

Xiongshizhai is even more famous in Raozhou because of this garrison and the water army in Xinjiang. Usually the military camp is built on the flat land on the right side of Xiongshi Village, although the scale is not too large, but it looks opposite the town of Ni Ya.

The simple people seem to accept the military camp around them, and the section of several hundred meters from the Xiongshi Zhai Gate to Ni Ya has slowly become the section of the local people's market. The most abundant are the river fish caught in the Xinjiang River and the game in the surrounding mountains.

Originally, the place close to the walled gate, as a local military, would not allow the people to approach. But because of this Xiongshi Village, many soldiers are mostly locals here. What's more, it is extremely comfortable and peaceful here, and now the commanders of Raozhou know the situation here, and most of them turn a blind eye.

Of course, there is another important reason why the command of the military village here is so bold, and that is that there is an extremely important insurance place in this place. It's not because of Ni Ya's original glory, but because it's also another famous place.

Heavenly Master Dao!

Ni Ya is only more than ten kilometers away from the world-famous Heavenly Master Road, and Xiongshizhai can be said to be within easy reach of Longhu Mountain.

The great name of the Heavenly Master Dao, presumably few people in the world can ignore it.

The Tao of the Heavenly Master is what later generations called Zhengyi, and the reason why it is famous and passed down from generation to generation is not only because of the path of cultivation it pursues. Another important reason is that the patriarch who founded the Heavenly Master Dao is Zhang Daoling, one of the founders of Taoism.

Zhang Daoling, the heavenly master of that year, wrote "Lao Tzu Xiang'er Note", which laid a solid foundation for the development of Taoism in later generations. His achievements in the history of the development of Taoism are the first person since the Han Dynasty and the Han Dynasty not to think about it.

Later, because of his family tradition, his grandson Zhang Lu vigorously reformed the development of the sect. In the early days of the Three Kingdoms, after Cao Cao worshiped Zhang Lu as the general of Zhennan, Taoism gradually spread to the north. At this time, Zhang Daoling's other descendant, Zhang Sheng, made a move that influenced future generations.

That is to shift the direction of the development of Taoist missions, from Qingcheng Mountain in Shuzhong to Longhu Mountain in Raozhou, Zhang Sheng, who made major contributions, has always been admired. Since then, some people believe that Zhang Sheng is the ancestor of the southward movement of the Heavenly Master Dao and the ancestor of the Heavenly Master Dao of Longhu Mountain.

At the beginning, Taoists believed that the Tao of the Heavenly Master was established by the three generations of Taoist ancestors Zhang Daoling, Zhang Heng, and Zhang Luzu. Because at the beginning, in the area of Bashu and Shuzhong, the primitive sect believed in by the original Ba barbarians was the well-known witch and ghost shamanism. It's just that these people finally gather people to collect money and do all kinds of evil, and the people can't do anything even if they know it.

But at this time, Zhang Tianshi, who had traveled all over the world, came east with the "Yellow Emperor Jiuding Danjing" and more than 1,000 disciples. Seeing what the witch and ghost cult was doing at that time, it was natural that a large-scale religious conflict broke out.

It is unknown what the outcome of the conflict led to that year, but Zhang Tianshi gained a firm foothold in Shuzhong. Later, the myths that circulated in Shuzhong said that Zhang Tianshi used the sword seal talisman taught by Taishang Laojun to break the ghost soldiers, and even the mysterious sect Hell Gate in Shu that is now popular, and all kinds of stories mixed together are based on this conflict.

However, why did it later say that the Heavenly Master Dao should move south, some people said that it was to make the Heavenly Master Dao develop better, but some people said another amazing reason.

The Witch Ghost Sect, which was defeated by the Heavenly Master Dao, was not destroyed because of this series of failures, but because it had been entrenched in Shuzhong for too long, some of its ideas were deeply rooted and had been recognized by the local people. Seeing that the Heavenly Master's Dao was strong, they naturally avoided it, but they were naturally not willing to accept their own failure.

Among them, after decades of convergence and continuous secret cultivation of talents, the Witch Ghost Sect has been hidden under the nose of the Heavenly Master. really devoted all the power of the sect to cultivating talents, and in the end, it really made the witch ghost teach a genius of the world.

This person was later known as Zhang Xiu, who was known as the divine master, and according to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty and the Records of the Emperor Ling, he was known as the Bajun Lich. However, he also has another identity, that is, he was the sect leader of the Five Dou Rice Dao for a period of time.

He devoted himself to the Witch Ghost Sect when he was a child, and accepted all the ideas of the Witch Ghost Sect, and even the hatred of the Witch Ghost Sect for the Heavenly Master Dao. Then, under the arrangement of the sect, he sneaked into the hidden hell gate in Shuzhong, and in just a few decades, he actually became the successor master of the hell gate.

Because of the cover of this coat, Zhang Xiu can naturally implement his plan with confidence. Although the Hell Gate was only a small sect at that time, it already had some climate and roots in Shuzhong, and the Hell Gate was also a ghost worship sect that had been inherited for a long time, so it naturally had its desirable side.

Under the cover of this other layer of identity, Zhang Xiu used the identity of the Hell Gate as a point of contact and used the Witch Ghost Sect to wreak havoc on the teachings of the Heavenly Master's Dao. Of course, there are no general attacks on the person, and according to the shortcomings of the Witch Ghost Sect, the famous Wudou Rice Dao (different from Zhang Daoling's Five Bucket Rice Dao) was also created, but instead used the identity of the Taoist to cooperate with the Hell Gate to fight the existence of the Heavenly Master Dao.

As for the influence of this five-bucket rice road, as well as what Zhang Xiu did later, history has its own conclusions and criticisms. But it also completely destroyed the influence of the five buckets of rice dao founded by Zhang Daoling. The so-called Five Bucket Rice Dao in the Three Kingdoms Period and even the Jin Dynasty had little to do with the Five Bucket Rice Dao founded by Zhang Daoling's ancestors and grandsons, which led to the southward movement of the Heavenly Master Dao to Longhu Mountain in the end, which also became an indisputable fact.

However, there are two points that few people may pay attention to, and that is because the Daomen has been founded as a sect, and since then the Daomen has really appeared as a sect, which is completely different from the previous wizards. Second, because of the establishment of the Heavenly Master Dao, there was the highest worship and belief in respecting the Tao as the Dao.

Therefore, according to the development of Taoism, since then, Zhang Daoling has founded the Heavenly Master Dao for several generations, which has completely laid the foundation for the development of Taoism for thousands of years of history before and even in the future. The enormity and influence of this significance can be said to be unparalleled in the history of Daomen. Nowadays, although there are still Dao Zun in the world, the disciples of Daomen have always regarded Longhu Mountain as the real Dao system.

Heming Mountain in Shuzhong is regarded as the ancestral court of the Heavenly Master's Taoism, just like the Nanhua Temple, the ancestral court of Buddhism and Zen Buddhism, and its influence among Zen disciples. Because it was here that Daozun Zhang Daoling was originally summoned, impeaching ghosts, and teaching Taoist enlightenment.

In fact, Zhang Daoling himself is well-versed in the Five Classics, and he is familiar with Huang Lao's learning and immortal arts. In addition, he directly inherited the many magic of the Han Dynasty Fangshi, and accommodated part of the concept of the religious beliefs of the barbarians in the central Shu region, so he claimed that Taishang Laojun taught the magic and truly founded the way of Zhengyi Alliance in Heming Mountain.

Heavenly Master Zhang Daoling, heir teacher Zhang Heng, and department teacher Zhang Lu, the painstaking management of three generations of ancestors made Zhengyi gradually form a set of systems, which were the teachings, rituals, arts, and even organizational systems of this system, which made a part of the later Taoist practice, and also made Zhengyi known as the Heavenly Master Dao.

Later, why did he move south to Longhu Mountain, because there are too many secrets and histories, and many people don't know the reason. However, some people say that Longhu Mountain is a Taoist cave, and it is one of the blessed places found by the heavenly master Zhang Daoling when he first traveled the world.

Some people say that it is because after killing the divine master Zhang Xiu, the department master Zhang Lu himself commanded a large number of ghost pawns under Zhang Xiu, and happened to see the chaos in the Han world, and had the ambition to compete in the world, so he jointly led the crowd to dominate the world. In the end, he was tamed by Cao Cao's generation of heroes, and since then the forces of the Heavenly Master Dao have been scattered and brought to the north.

Among them, the children of the Zhang family have fled to the south since then, and established the foundation for the continuation of the Heavenly Master Dao in Longhu Mountain.

The celestial master who is now in Longhu Mountain is Zhang Bingyi, who was later respected as the true monarch of Zhaohua, this true monarch can usually be said to be a dragon who sees the head but does not see the end, and often only appears in Longhu Mountain once or twice a year. He is known as one of the two great sword immortals in the world, and the other is naturally the sword immortal Lu Dongbin.

However, Zhang Tianshi's prestige is well known to the world, and although he has not become a Taoist legal system respected in the world like Zhang Tianshi in later generations, he is already not weaker than the main figure of Taoism.

Therefore, when the officials of the state capital arrive here, they have to dismount and get off the sedan chair to show respect. Of course, the biggest advantage is that the people here are also much less likely to be harassed because of Zhang Tianshi's existence.

Rumble!

A burst of muffled thunder came, the sky was dark and oppressive, reflecting Ni Ya, depressed in the fluttering drizzle, here is a stone path, extending from Ni Ya town to the riverside.

Two young men in robes and hats stood by the river, looking at the corner of the river that was already a little gray in the distance, as if they were waiting for someone. It can be seen from their lower body that they should be the soldiers in this military village.

Their young faces were still full of vitality under the hats, and an emaciated teenager walked up and down the stone path by the river from time to time. A small pier more than three feet wide and with more than ten stone steps was built into the river.

It looks like a place used by locals to wash clothes and vegetables, or dock a boat and bamboo raft. Because the stone steps are not neat, the wharf is not formal, and there is an old bamboo raft hanging next to it, but it has a bit of a rustic atmosphere.

The emaciated boy looked impatient, and from time to time he looked at the river, and then looked at the boy next to him, who was a little shorter than himself, but looked much stronger. Looking at this sturdy young man's calm face, he couldn't hold back in his heart and said: "Jiulang, look at this heavy rain is coming soon, can Uncle Ten rush back!" He can't come back, so we won't be scolded to death by General Shi! ”

This young man known as Jiulang had a calm face, quietly looking at the misty rain on the river, and the Xinjiang River was very calm, although there was rain and thunder, it was only a faint mist rising on the surface of the river. Because the weather is hot this season, this kind of light rain or even heavy rain will not affect them too much.

He looked at his partner a little impatiently, and couldn't help but smile slightly: "Three monkeys, you are also a little too anxious!" It doesn't look like a child from the palace at all, it's still nearly a quarter of an hour before noon! He looked at his partner with some teasingness.

"You also know General Shi's temper, without the fresh fish in this river to drink, your heart is uncomfortable, but think about it! If he really didn't, what could he do? It's not just a matter of whining and scolding. Uncle Ten has always been reliable, don't wait a little longer! Seeing that his partner was a little sneering, the young man named Jiulang even cracked his lips and smiled.

It turned out that this young man named Sanmonkey was this local, and he knew that his companion was deliberately sarcastic about himself, so he couldn't help but deliberately hate and said: "You are not afraid, you are picked up by General Shi from this Xinjiang River, he saves face for you, and a certain family is not so lucky!" ”

Jiulang put his arm around the shoulders of the three monkeys, and said with a smile in his eyes: "Yes!" Be! A certain family is a homeless street child! You are a child of the famous Wang family in Ni Ya, dare to ask you if you don't go to Longhu Mountain to seek immortality, why did you come to the military camp with a certain person to suffer from it! ”

The three monkeys gave Jiurou an elbow blow, and when his left foot came back to kick Jiurou again, Jiurou had already jumped away with a grin. The two of them seem to be used to fighting, and they don't get angry for the sake of quarrels. Because the two are not only of the same age, but also have very similar temperaments.

The clothes were already wet, and the rain was flying on their faces, but the two teenagers didn't seem to care.

Because Shi Gandang, the captain of this Xiongshi Village, loves to eat fish the most in his life, it can be said that he has reached the point of no fish every day. Fortunately, there is no shortage of fish and shrimp in this Xinjiang River, and now it is not wartime, and there is no closure of the river to prohibit fishing, so it can meet Shi Gandang's requirements every day.

These two teenagers are Shi Gandang's tooth soldiers, today because of the pain of idle eggs, Shi Gandang ate two fish in the military village, and felt a little unpleasant, so he urged two people to come to the river to find fish back.

Although Niya Town is close to the Xinjiang River, there are few people who can really fish now, because with the turbulent situation, there are not many people in Niya, and they are all people who have moved from the surrounding area or elsewhere. The tenth uncle who was waiting for the two teenagers was really the aboriginal of Ni Ya, and it is said that he was still the descendant of the original Ni Ya general.

No one will verify these, but Uncle Ten is at least surnamed Ni, and he has lived in this Niya town since he was a child. The home of the three monkeys is at the foot of Longhu Mountain, and the elders of the family were also disciples of Longhu Mountain, but I don't know why the three monkeys didn't go to practice, but someone in the three monkeys' family knew Uncle Shi.

Not only did they know that Uncle Ten had a good body of water, but he was also a good fisher on the Xinjiang River. He knows where there are the most fish and fattest, where he knows where to fish, where there are reef rocks. So it is the best choice to come to Uncle Ten to buy fish, usually these three monkeys understand this, and Jiulang and Jiulang are the most tooth soldiers sent by Shi Gandang.

But this three monkeys are impatient, and they can't stand the wait for too long, but they are far inferior to this Jiulang next to him, not only calm, but also quite patient. Nearly a quarter of an hour passed, and the emaciated boy Sanhou, who had been walking around the shore, almost looked like he was about to go berserk.
