One day lived in the Cai Guo guest house, and at night someone stole a clog, but fortunately this theft, so left a historical record of Confucius's shoe size, it is said that "Confucius clogs are one foot four inches long, and mortal clogs are different" (see "Taiping Yulan"). A one-foot-four-inch Han ruler is about 33 centimeters, and when you change it to a shoe size, it is 50 shoes! Confucius: What a pair of feet, you can imagine and feel it. Confucius's clogs are too big for ordinary people to wear.

The thief stole a shoe from Confucius, probably just to see the Western scenery, and he wouldn't really take it home, even if he took it back, it was useless, no one could wear it. Therefore, "the thief put the thief in the house of the thief", and when the thief saw the shoe, he opened his eyes and threw it away, knowing that it was useless.

Otherwise, it would be embarrassing for Confucius to travel barefoot! His shoes are so big, you can't buy them now, you can only find a shoemaker to order them, and you have to spend a few more days in Cai Guo.

Fortunately, no one knew that Confucius was Confucius at this time, and his shoes were not treasures, otherwise wherever Confucius went, he would either lose his shoes, or lose his hat, and all his underwear and pants would have been stolen back and regarded as heirlooms - how can Confucius travel around the world naked?!

In this way, Confucius has been in Cai for three years, and Cai Guo doesn't want to give him any benefits, so he stays here and teaches to solve his doubts! In the third year of Confucius's move to the state of Cai, the state of Wu attacked the state of Chen. The state of Chu came to the rescue of Chen, and the army was stationed at Chengfu (Chuyi, in the east of present-day Baofeng County, Henan). Hearing that Confucius lived on the border between Chen and Cai, the state of Chu sent a special person to hire Confucius. So Confucius left Cai to go to see him.

Confucius was 63 years old when he traveled south to Chu, in 489 BC (the sixth year of Lu Aigong) Confucius and his disciples were trapped between Chen Cai and starved of food, many disciples fell ill due to hunger, Confucius lived on the border of Chen and Cai, at that time Chu wanted to appoint Confucius as an official, and the kings of Chen Cai and the two countries felt that Confucius was a sage, a capable person, and did not want him to be used by Chu, but he could not use it.

Confucius advocated at that time, and the monarchs of Chen and Cai did not want to use it. They didn't want to use it, and they didn't want others to use it, so they could only do everything possible to prevent Confucius from going to Chu.

Confucius (lack of food) was stranded, had no food, and did not eat rice for seven days. Fortunately, there is water to drink, still alive, but it is a pity that since Confucius sent Zigong to Chu to lobby, life is not as good as a day, sleeping there during the day, Yan went back to beg for rice, and after asking for rice, the rice was about to be cooked, Confucius saw that the rice was not cooked, Yan Hui grabbed the rice in the pot with his hand and ate it.

After a while, when the rice was cooked, Yan Hui invited Confucius to eat again, and Confucius pretended not to see Yan Hui secretly eating and said: "Just now I dreamed of my ancestors, saying that I would eat clean food first and then give them food." ”

Yan Hui understood that Confucius had misunderstood his own stealing food, so he replied: "Master, it's not what you saw just now, the country has carbon ash floating into the pot, and the rice is dirty, and it's a pity to throw it away, so I caught it and ate it." ”

Confucius understood that he misunderstood Yan Hui, so he sighed: "People should believe what they see, but their eyes may not be credible; You should believe in your own heart, and you should not believe in your own heart. You will remember in the future that it is not easy to understand people.

After Confucius was trapped here, he did not have such a good opportunity to get rice to cook, and he could only boil wild vegetable soup every day to drink, and was almost starved to death. Except for the rice that Yan Hui begged for, Confucius almost didn't eat, and he couldn't even drink a mouthful of wild vegetable soup when he was in trouble.

I was really hungry and couldn't stand it, so Zilu went to steal a little pig, cooked it and gave it to Confucius first, Confucius didn't care where the pig came from, he took it and ate it, and no longer cared about the food that stole the water from the spring, it was important to save his own life, Zilu saw that Confucius didn't blame himself, and after a few days, Zilu went to someone else's to grab a set of clothes, and came back with some wine, Confucius still didn't ask where the wine came from, and drank it.

Not long after, Zigong came back from Chu and said to Zilu: "I said senior brother, you are stealing and robbing like this, it is very tasteless, it is better to listen to me, it is not a bad thing to beg when there is no money, it is better to ask Shizun Confucius to play the piano, I will collect the money, if you listen to the piano and don't give money, Senior Brother Zilu is good at martial arts, you will scare him!" ”

Masters like this kind of public show are all masters in the world, who would have thought that they were beggars? There is a jar in front of it, which means that the audience is asked to give some money or unwanted supplies. The musical instrument of a master is very different from that of a mortal, first of all, this person can control two instruments at the same time, that foot can also play drums, and a good musician can control multiple instruments, and that is the most amazing person in the industry.

Secondly, this person's musical instrument is relatively large, such as the guqin, ordinary people usually use seven strings, and the master in front of him uses more than ten strings, and those strings are like more than one that does not cost money, which means that the music changes more and more complexly.

The last point is that the instruments used by this master are all high, which is also a branch of the guqin field.

There is also a magic in this kind of guqin, that is, the sound quality is good, and the real natural sound must be made with very good musical instruments. This master is an old man who can't see the true face clearly, tall and mighty, making a sonorous sound, or dense or deep, exciting, I heard that his name is Confucius.

The next performer is a man, relatively young and handsome, the main attack drum "rumble-rumble-" sound soars into the sky, I heard that it is a man named Gongye Chang there to beat, the last one is a woman, slender ten fingers play for a show, similar to the music of silk bamboo and guqin.

This woman should be Confucius's daughter Kong Rao, and the people here are still very generous to beggars, and people keep throwing copper plates and various materials in a large vat. Zigong explained on the side, persuading everyone to throw food into the jar, and now everyone is most lacking food.

The act of generosity has something to do with the lack of entertainment in this barren mountain area, and the beggar who performs the piano is not seen once in decades for the audience, and the scarcity is expensive, so that the executioner can also do good deeds.

Unlike the local musicians, those people's music focuses on liveliness, Confucius's music needs to understand the connotation, art is usually abstract, and many places can only be understood but not spoken, but Confucius's music is difficult for people to hear, whether it is an expression of feelings or the rise and fall of nature.
