Chapter 5 Ploiesti

The next morning, Eder and his guards arrived at Standard Oil's office in Romania and saw Smith talking to a group of workers in canvas overalls. As soon as he saw Edel Smith, he hurriedly ran over.

"Good morning, Your Highness Eder, and welcome. Would you like to visit our office? Edel looked at the two-story brick and timber building in the style of the previous life.

"Forget it, Smith is down to business." "Yes, Your Highness." Smith turned to the group of workers and shouted, "Get ready to go, you slackers." "Apparently Smith's politeness is also about distinguishing between people.

Soon the group arrived at the train station and boarded the train to Ploiesti, where Eder and the guards sat in the royal carriage. Apparently this was all arranged by the chief of the guard, Calust. The train slowly turned on, and Eder looked out the window. A sea of ripe wheat, the breeze blows through the golden wheat waves, and Eder is very happy to see.

This is my land, and it is my duty to make the people of the kingdom strong and prosperous. The sword of the kingdom is to gain enough living space for his people. Edel had his ambitions in his heart.

Two hours later, Eder and his party arrived in Ploiesti. As the sixth largest city in Romania, Ploiesti has a population of 110,000, which is another small county town for Eder, who has memories of his past life.

Eder and his entourage got out of the car and saw the mayor of Ploiesti, Karaturi, greeting His Royal Highness the Crown Prince with a group of municipal officials and nobles. Needless to say, this is the credit of the chief of the guard.

"His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, welcome to Ploiesti for inspection." Seeing Eder step off the train, Mayor Karaturi stepped forward to greet him. Kalituri is 35 years old and has a personable appearance. As the nephew of the prime minister, he naturally has his own channels. For this crown prince, he has also received news from the prime minister, and he is not a lord who can fool. Therefore, this time the crown prince came to inspect and could also be said to be distracted, and he did not dare to relax in the slightest.

"Mayor Karaturi, go about your work, leave me alone." The crown prince obviously doesn't want to be disturbed, and who will go out for a walk with a group of officials and nobles?

"Okay, Your Royal Highness the Crown Prince, if you have something, please call a guard to inform me and come over immediately." Obviously, the mayor is also a transparent person.

Edel nodded, and the group left the train station. Looking at the departing crown prince. Karaturi turned to the police chief and said, "Chief Brewer, I want the crown prince to see the good side of Ploiesti, do you see that too?" "Yes, we will definitely let the crown prince see a wonderful Ploiesti. I promise" The short and fat police chief, wiping the sweat from his forehead, assured that the mayor had more than just good looks.

"Mayor Karaturi is the nephew of Prime Minister Stullley, he has been smart and studious since he was a child, and later went to study in Paris, France, and came back to work as a secretary in Stuartley, and was transferred to Ploiesti as mayor five years ago, showing very good ability, and is generally considered to be the best young man in Prime Minister Stuartley's family." In the carriage, the chief of the guard, Calust, told Eder about the mayor's experience. "It seems that this Karaturi is a very capable man," thought Eder.

Soon Eder and his entourage arrived on the eastern outskirts of Ploiesti and looked at a 6-square-kilometer vacant land where Smith was arranging for workers to survey the land and prepare it for an oil refinery. "Mir takes your team to survey the location of the plant, and Willis takes your men to the north to survey the oil production site, and the rest of the pipeline location." As soon as I walked to the clearing, I heard Smith's voice.

"Your Royal Highness, won't you take a break?" Smith saw Eder and his party and hurriedly ran over and said.

"Busy with you, I'm just looking. Gone in a moment," Edel waved at Smith.

"Then I'll go, these slackers you're going to have to kick their ass to get the job done." With that, Smith returned to the clearing and began to direct the group of workers from the United States again.

"Calust, let's take a look around the neighborhood, there's not much to see here," Eder said to the chief of the guard. "Okay, Your Highness, I'll arrange it." The chief of the guard, Calust, was still a serious man.

Eder sat in the carriage and watched the farmers busy in the fields by the roadside, and the bear children next to him played happily. From time to time, he did all kinds of dangerous actions, which attracted the peasant women to scold and spank, causing themselves to cry and make the working adults laugh. This beautiful idyllic scenery reminded Edel of the days of his previous life.

In the evening, Eder returned to Ploiesti, "Your Highness, Mayor Karaturi has organized a welcome dinner for you, and I hope you will attend. Chief of the Guard, Calust, said to the Crown Prince. Okay, I'll be on time. Edel replied to his chief guard.

In the evening, as soon as Eder's carriage was used as the door to the banquet, he saw the mayor of Karaturi waiting at the door with officials and local nobles. As soon as Eder stepped out of the carriage, Mayor Karaturi stepped forward and said to Eder. "Welcome to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, it is an honour for us to be here for our people of Ploiesti." With that, he walked into the hall with Edel. In the hall, Eder stepped up to the front desk and raised his glass to Ploiesti, where a group of officials and nobles toasted. "In Ploiesti I saw that the rich people were living in peace and quiet, and this could not have been achieved without the efforts of all those present, and I thank you on behalf of the king."

"All for the kingdom, I wish the king good health." The officials below replied with the nobles.

Cheers: After drinking this wine, Eder, led by the mayor of Karaturi, came to the main officials and nobles of Ploiesti. Mayor Karaturi whispered to Eder about them, and Eder spoke words of encouragement and praise to everyone.

"Mayor Karaturi, I'll tell the king what I've seen, you're doing a good job," Eder said to Mayor Karaturi beside him. "All this was accomplished under the wise leadership of the king and the hard work of his colleagues. I'm just coordinating in it. Mayor Karaturi said modestly. Don't be modest with Mayor Karaturi, being able to coordinate them to get it done is the greatest credit. Edel whispered. For those who are capable, Eder still wants to pull into his team.

"It's all I should do, and it's an honor for me to serve the Crown Prince and His Royal Highness." The mayor of Karaturi is faced with the wooing of the future king, which is a temptation that cannot be refused. "Karaturi you know, in the next two years there will be a refinery and other facilities built here. This is the royal family's biggest investment, and I hope you can help make it happen. Edel said slowly. Edel also shows a sense of intimacy with the person who is willing to join the team, and you don't need to call the mayor anymore. "Rest assured, Your Highness, I guarantee that it will be completed on time," Karaturi replied affirmatively to Eder. "Finish the refinery here, and I'll transfer you to Bucharest, I need your talent," Eder also said with a wish, who would be too much for capable subordinates.
