The greatest combat value of the jungle is that it provides unparalleled concealment. During the Kosovo War in 1999, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia managed to hide a large number of troops in forests and jungles in order to avoid NATO aerial reconnaissance and strikes. According to NATO's assessment at that time, if ground troops were to be sent to occupy the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, it would probably suffer huge losses in jungle operations. It was on the basis of this consideration that NATO did not carry out a ground invasion of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in the end. Throughout the Cold War, NATO forces continued to focus on operations in the northern forests of Europe. Even today, Western military experts insist that jungle warfare is inevitable in the event of a future war in Europe.

You know, the last large-scale war that took place in the tropical jungle was the war on the Sino-Vietnamese border that broke out in 1979, a full 30 years ago. And the tragic situation of the US military on the battlefield in Vietnam seems to have been gradually forgotten. However, a recent study by the US Department of Defense indicates that 80 percent of future large-scale military conflicts are likely to occur in tropical jungle areas. And even now, the specter of bushing is still evident around the world – there are still small-scale bush clashes in Colombia, Sierra Leone, Congo and the Philippines. This shows that the problem of combat in the jungle environment absolutely cannot be evaded, and it needs to be taken seriously.

In the jungle, there are advantages and disadvantages, at least those self-propelled firepower and armored vehicles like those in our special operations brigade will certainly not be able to enter, and the jungle will make the weapons and equipment level of both sides tend to return to the same running line -- light weapons, and the maximum limit of light weapons is still a matter of distance. Even with small arms with a range of up to 50 metres, there are difficulties in locating and correcting indirect aiming fire. At the same time, it also makes it extremely easy for soldiers to move in the wrong direction if they misjudge the direction of the first bullet, which can put them in a very dangerous situation.

However, in the jungle, it is impossible to estimate how many troops will be lurking in the jungle. Judging from the density of personnel in wartime, even a small forest or forest with an area of only 2 square kilometers can hide a certain number of military personnel, and a jungle of 5 square kilometers can hide a certain number of military personnel.

Therefore, in jungle warfare, it is safest to win the war with both legs.

After the members of the command group drew a lot of dots and lines back and forth on the ground, in fact, the general battle plan had already come out, if we want to reduce casualties as much as possible in such a jungle area, and successfully break through, we can only rely on our own legs, we must fully mobilize the enemy's forces, for example, let these "hunters" know where our "prey" are, but we can't let them find us.

Our "warrior team" continued to cover each other along the way to search and advance, but the speed of our progress is not very fast, after all, our current advance is not to break out quickly, but just to let the group of "hunters" know that we are now moving in this direction, so at the beginning of our continuous advance, we almost did not encounter any special situation, which really made us feel that our movement was moving too fast, so that the group of "hunters" lost their target, If we continue to move forward like this, I guess we won't have to make any noise, just continue in this direction, and the breakthrough will be over!
