Zhang Ji (?) ββ254), the name Jingzhong, was a native of Gaoling District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province.
Zhang Ji was the son of Zhang Ji, the assassin of Liangzhou in Cao Wei, Zhang Ji died, and Zhang Ji inherited the title of his father, the Marquis of Xixiang. During the Taihe period, Zhang Ji served as the county magistrate of Wen County, and was famous for his ability to govern.

Emperor Ming then ordered Zhang Ji to be the captain of the cavalry and participate in the battle against Shu.
After the war, he was reappointed as Shang Shulang, and was appreciated by Emperor Wei Ming for his competence.
Emperor Wei Ming thought that Zhang Ji's talent was enough to take on heavy responsibilities, so he asked Xiangshi to look at him, and Xiangshi said, "Zhang Ji can hold an official position of only 2,000 stones." β
Emperor Wei Ming said, "How can such a talented official position stay at two thousand stones?" β
Later, Zhang Ji moved to Dongguan County (now northeast of Yishui County, Shandong Province) as Zhongshulang, and analyzed the situation with Eastern Wu and Shu Han to the imperial court many times.

In the fourth year of Jiaping (252), Cao Fangli, the daughter of Zhang Ji, the abolished emperor of Cao Wei, was the queen.
Zhang is Cao Fang's second queen.
Zhang's entered the palace through the draft.
Niu'er looks good, and the fortune teller said that she is the life of a nobleman. Therefore, before entering the examination room, he was complacent and said, "Do you look like a queen?" β
Her mother hurriedly covered her mouth and said, "I can't say that! Besides, if you can be by the emperor's side, even if you are a blessed nobleman, what do you want the queen to do? β
Niu'er glanced at her mother and said, "I heard that there are 3,000 beauties in the emperor's harem today, who doesn't want to advance to the back position?" If you can't reach the queen's position, you have to let the emperor leave it aside, and if you see it again, the emperor won't recognize it! β
Her mother hugged her daughter and said to the good girl, "The words are such words, but they can't say it, and they know it in their hearts." Also, after entering the palace, don't just put effort on the emperor. β
"That's true," Zhang Niu'er said, "If you don't work the emperor, on whom?" β
Xiang Shi said something in his daughter's ear.
Zhang turned his head in surprise and yelled at her mother, "Huh? β
Xiang nodded at his daughter and said, "Yes." β

This time, we understood what Xiang said in his daughter's ear, that is, to exert himself on Empress Dowager Guo. Therefore, since Zhang's entry into the palace, he has run to the palace of the Empress Dowager Guo almost every day, and during the day, he has guarded the Empress Dowager Guo.
The adoptive mother and son fought in a cold war for about two years, and finally Cao Fang gave in, and in February of the fourth year of Cao Wei Jiaping (252), Zhang was appointed empress and amnesty. Zhang Ji was promoted to Guanglu doctor, and his wife Xiang was named Ancheng Township Jun.
Xiang's idea is good, not only does his daughter benefit, but even he and his husband get benefits.

In December of the fourth year of Jiaping (252), Sima Shi sent troops to attack Nanjun (now Jingsha, Hubei) and Wuchang (now Ezhou), and ordered Sima Zhao to lead the general Hu Zun and Zhuge Dan, the general of Zhendong, to lead 70,000 cavalry to attack Dongxing, intending to destroy the embankment.
Zhuge Dan proposed a three-way march to attack Wu, led by Wang Chang (chΗ

Qiu Jian to lure the enemy to attack Nanjun and Wuchang; Zhuge Dan and Hu Zun were the main forces, leading 70,000 pontoon bridges to attack Dongxing.
Wu's military situation was urgent, and Zhuge Ke personally led 40,000 reinforcements to Dongxing.
He also ordered Ding Feng to be the vanguard with Lu Ju, Liuzan, Tang Zhi and others, and climbed the mountain to the west, advancing slowly because of the narrow mountain road.
Ding Fengqin led 3,000 people to rush there, and after going down the mountain, he changed to a boat and went down the river, arriving at Dongxing in two days and occupying Xutang.
Due to the heavy snowfall, Hu Zun and others drank and were unguarded.
Ding Feng led his headquarters to raid the Wei army camp with light equipment, and LΓΌ Ju and other troops also arrived one after another. Seeing this, the Wei army panicked and fled, because of the overload of the pontoon bridge and broken, the dead who fell into the water and trampled on each other were 10,000 people, and the Wei generals Han Zong, Le An, and Taishou Huan Jia were drowned successively.
In the fifth year of Jiaping (253), Wuqiu Jian and Wang Chang saw that the Dongxing army was defeated and also burned the camp and fled, but Wu general Tang Shi searched out a large number of grain, grass and weapons left behind by the Wei army that had not had time to take away, and the Wu army won a complete victory.
Zhang Ji said to Sima Shi, "Although Zhuge Ke has won, he is not far from being killed. β
Sima Shi asked, "What is the reason for this?" β
Zhang Ji said, "His prestige shocked his monarch, and his merits overshadowed the whole country, if he wanted not to die, is it still possible?" β
Soon, Zhuge Ke besieged Hefei, and was forced to withdraw due to the epidemic, and was killed by Sun Jun.
Sima Shi then praised Zhang Ji for being smarter than Zhuge Ke.

At that time, Taichang Xiahou Xuan was extremely prestigious in the world, but because he was a relative of Cao Shuang, he could not hold a powerful position, and he was often unhappy; Zhang Ji was also very unhappy because he was the father of the queen and was exempted from living at home.
Although Sima Shi promoted Li Feng, Li Feng was privately biased towards Xiahou Xuan. So, he befriended Zhang Ji and planned to overthrow Sima Shi and change Xiahou Xuan to the general.
Zhang Ji was unhappy in the court, and Li Feng held power, and they were fellow villagers, and his son Li Tao married Princess Qi, so Zhang Ji listened to him.
Li Feng secretly ordered his younger brother, Li Yi, the assassin of Yanzhou, to ask to enter the court, wanting him to lead his troops in and join forces to make trouble. waited for Li Yi to request a meeting, but was not granted. In February of the sixth year of Jiaping (254), Li Feng and others planned to take advantage of the presence of the king's royal car and the guards at each gate to kill the general Sima Shi, replace him with Xiahou Xuan, and take Zhang Ji as the hussar general.
Li Feng secretly told Su Shuo, the supervisor of the Yellow Gate, the commander of Yongning, Ledun, and Liu Xian, the redundant servant, and others, saying, "A few of you are in the inner court, and there are many illegal things, and the general Sima Shi is strict and resolute, and Zhang Dang's fate can be used as a warning." β
Su Shuo and the others promised to obey his orders.
But Sima Shi heard the news and asked Li Feng to meet him and ask him, but Li Feng did not tell him the truth; Sima Shi was furious, so he beat Li Feng to death with the iron ring on the knife handle, and sent the body to Tingwei, and then arrested Li Tao, Xiahou Xuan, Zhang Ji and others, and sent them to Tingwei for imprisonment.
Zhong Yu was in charge of interrogation and prison management, and he said, "Li Feng conspired with Su Shuo, the supervisor of the Yellow Gate, the Yongning Palace, and Liu Xian, the redundant servant, and others, saying, 'On the day of worshipping the nobles, the troops of each battalion were guarded at the gate of the palace, and when Your Majesty approached the front porch, he took this opportunity to serve His Majesty together, and then led all the officers and soldiers to go close to kill the general. If His Majesty does not listen, he will be taken away. ββ
He also said, "They conspired and agreed to make Xiahou Xuan the general and Zhang Ji the hussar general; Xiahou Xuan and Zhang Ji all knew about this conspiracy. β
Gengxu (22nd), Sima Shi sent Zhang Ji to death in prison, beheaded Li Tao, Xiahou Xuan, Su Shuo, Ledun, Li Xian and others, and exterminated the three tribes, and the rest of the relatives moved to Lelang County (now North Korea, the capital is on the south bank of the Datong River in present-day Pyongyang). Of course, this also includes Zhang's mother, Xiang, and her family.
Zhang Ji had a son named Zhang Miao (miΗo), who was contacted by Zhang Ji's bereaved to contact Li Feng, and was killed when he was defeated.
After Zhang's death, Empress Zhang was soon deposed, then killed, and died in a tragic state, and was abused before her death.
