Chapter 11 (130) Xiaoman (9)

Chen Pu was carefully figuring out the strokes of the two book stickers, and when the corner of his eyes swept away, he saw Tian Xiu looking at him with a smile on the side, so he stopped and asked her, "Qingshan, what are you talking about with Zida?" ”

"Didn't say anything." Tian Xiu said, "I'm asking Uncle Ying for some academic things. ”

"Teach me, please? You? Chen Pu glanced at Tian Xiu in surprise and then at Shang Cheng. In her eyes, Tian Xiu's knowledge is profound enough, not to mention that she is rich in five cars, four cars must be more than enough, otherwise it would be impossible to be recruited by the imperial court as a woman after the age of twenty. It's just that Tian Xiu has the same temper as her father Tian Wang, with a strong temperament and a lack of flexibility, and soon after being an official, he was transferred out of the Sixth Department because of some outrageous remarks, and was "dispatched" to the Jiangnan area to be a dispensable observer. Speaking of which, she is actually to blame for this matter, if she hadn't carried Tian Xiu out of the anthology "Qingshan Manuscript" behind her back, how could Tian Xiu stay in Jiangnan for six or seven years? Although she came to her senses soon after the incident, and she also spent a lot of effort to take back all the books, but there were hundreds of printed volumes, and they had already spread to various places with the merchants of the eight directions. Just like the "Qingshan Manuscript" that Shang Cheng once encountered, it is actually one of the volumes scattered among the people. It was precisely because of this book, coupled with the rumors that Shang Cheng misunderstood Qingshan, not only did he make a big joke, but also offended Tian Xiu because of it......

"Just ask for teaching." Tian Xiu said. She pointed to "Tianwen", which was put on the small case by Shang Cheng. "Since the Han Dynasty, there has never been a break in the people who have said that this Chu Ci is a fake in the name of Qu Zi. Even if some people claim that this is an article written by Qu Zi, they are often criticized, pointing out the difficult questions in the article, and finally unable to justify themselves. I just saw that Uncle Ying's recitation of this text was in no way hindered, so I couldn't help but come over to ask for advice. After speaking, he looked at Shang Cheng. She promised to keep the secret of "Mr. Yu Que" for Shang Cheng, but she did not promise not to investigate the authenticity of "Tianwen". This is doing learning, and helping others keep secrets are two different things! To do scholarship is to be serious and careful, as for keeping secrets, as long as it does not hinder morality and is harmless, it is okay to do it occasionally.

Hearing her say this, Chen Pu immediately put down the book sticker and walked over. She thought, anyway, when can't she study the book when she has it? And Tian Xiu wants to study Shangcheng's knowledge, which is really rare. If you want to become a general with outstanding military achievements, the most you can do is to read a few books, how can you withstand Tian Xiu's questioning?

Nanyang was also curious and walked over.

Shang Cheng immediately threw in the towel. Jokes aside, there are one hundred and seventy or eighty questions in Tianwen, each of which is an allusion, either a myth or folklore, and the stories recorded in its books are scattered in the Book of Shang, Mencius, Liezi, Classic of Mountains and Seas, Lü's Spring and Autumn, and Huainanzi...... and so on more than a dozen ancient books and other Chu Ci chapters. Some stories have only one name in this book, and some only record one deed, and almost all of them are just a few words, and these books need to be compared with each other before and after in order to get a general story content; Sometimes, these stories contradict each other, which is also shown in "Tianwen". With such a huge and complex content, where could he possibly remember the content and specific source of each story? In addition, some of the stories in "Tianwen" have long been scattered in the classics that record them, and there is no written record at all, and they were only used to reflect the verses in "Tianwen" after the state sorted out and published the folk songs and folk legends of the southern ethnic minorities. And where should he look for such evidence?

In "Tianwen", the most obvious examples are several stories of Hou Yi. This person called "Yi" is called "Houyi" in various classics for a while, and "Dayi" for a while. "Hou" is the meaning of the king, and Houyi is the king of Yi; However, "Dayi" means that this person has made great contributions and has been extremely respected by others, so he is called Dayi. is such a person who is both a king and an outstanding contributor, but in "Tianwen", he will be a good person and a bad person. The original sentence "Yi Yan Yan Day? Wu Yan untie the feather? "What do Yi Yi do to shoot down the three-legged black in the sun; Where did the three-legged blacks in the sun fall after they died? This is telling the story of "Dayi shooting the sun". At this time, Yi was a good man, because he shot down ten suns and solved the suffering suffered by the people. But in "Hu shoots the husband and the uncle, and the wife is a concubine? In the story, he turned into a bad guy again, ran to kill a man named Hebo for no reason, and then married Hebo's wife and concubine, which is simply a villain who bullies men and women! Of course, if he does this kind of thing, his ending will be very bad, "Xun marries a pure fox, and his dizzy wife plots", his disciple Xun first married the daughter of the pure fox clan, and then "dizzy" hooked up with a dizzy wife one by one, that is, hooked up with Shangyi's wife, and the two of them murdered Yi together. However, this is not the end of Dayi's story. After the poem "Xun marries a pure fox, dazzles his wife and plots", he jumps six sentences, which is "Andefu's medicine, can't be hidden?" This is the prototype of the folk tale "Chang'e Running to the Moon". Because Yi's contribution was too great, he shot down ten suns and exterminated Feng Jue and Feng Xuan, these fierce beasts that harmed the world, so the Emperor of Heaven gave him an immortal medicine, and there are also classics saying that he personally went to Kunlun to find the queen mother to ask for the immortal medicine, but he put the medicine at home, and he didn't know what to do, and in the legend of the Tujia family in the southwest, he first ran to fight Hebo and rob the concubine, and then one of his wives, Chang'e, stole the medicine, and flew to the moon after eating it......

After listening to Shang Cheng tell a few small stories related to Hou Yi, Tian Xiu and the Chen sisters looked at each other. If it weren't for his explanations and explanations, they couldn't have thought of "Xun marrying a pure fox, dazzling his wife and plotting" and "Andefu's medicine, can't be hidden?" These two poems are about Yi. In fact, none of Shang Cheng's six books that were not so rare, namely Shangshu, Mencius, Liezi, Shanhaijing, Lü's Spring and Autumn Period, and Huainanzi, had read them thoroughly. Chen Pu only learned "Shangshu" and "Mencius", and Nanyang did not read "Lü's Spring and Autumn" and "Huainanzi". Tian Xiu has read the most, but he has not read "The Classic of Mountains and Seas". Although she likes miscellaneous studies, she is also mainly based on Confucianism and treats other things, and miscellaneous books like "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" are absurd and have no merit, which is absolutely unsightly.

But Tian Xiu still didn't believe that Shang Cheng could interpret the entire "Tianwen".

She took the scroll, flipped through a few pages, pointed to one of the lines and asked, "What does this mean?" Historically, people have commented on "Tianwen", either avoiding this sentence, or indicating that this place may be a mistake when later generations copied it, or interpreting it as "where is the Kunlun Hanging Garden". She wants to hear what kind of high opinion Shang Cheng will have!

As soon as Shang Cheng saw the poem she was referring to, he burst out laughing.

"Kunlun County Garden, where is its Jiri?" , this sentence is the finishing touch of the whole poem. Before this sentence, Qu Yuan asked one question after another, all of which were serious discussions about the shortcomings of people's understanding of the natural world and the thoughts triggered by them. Only with this sentence, the magnificence and romance of the whole poem are immediately revealed. Shang Cheng even felt that in all of Qu Yuan's works, whether it was "Nine Songs" or "Lisao", there was no word that could reflect the poet's character and temperament like this sentence. Not to mention, the poem must also be a romantic thought that has never been seen in all the literature that preceded it......

"Kunlun is the abode of the Emperor of Heaven and the Queen Mother; The county garden, that is, the hanging garden, also known as the Xuan Garden, planting all kinds of strange flowers and plants, according to the records in the books, here is the place where the Emperor of Heaven and the Queen Mother usually play and watch. Both of these places, according to the book, hang high in the sky. Shang Cheng first explained, "That is to say, they are all on the top of people's heads, as long as people look up, they can see them." So, 'Kunlun County Garden, where is its Jiri?' What does this mean? ”

Chen Pu nodded vigorously and asked, "Yes, yes, what does this sentence mean?" ”

"'Kunlun County Garden, where is its Jiri?' Shang Cheng recited the poem again, and then said, "This poem is explained in the vernacular, and it should be like this: we all know that the two places of Kunlun and Xuanpu usually hang high above our heads; But who can tell me why we can't see where their butts are when we look up? With that, he lowered his head and took a drink of water.

As soon as these words came out, there was silence in the study.

Three listeners, you look at me, I look at you, and no one speaks at once. Shang Cheng's explanation is so bizarre! Who can imagine that Qu Zi, who can not only sing the sad song "Long Tai Xi to cover up the tears, mourn the difficulties of the people's livelihood", "Lu Manman's cultivation is far away, I will go up and down and seek", but also can sigh "Cheng is both brave and martial, and finally strong and invincible." The body is dead, the spirit is the spirit, and the soul is resolute and the ghost is the hero", so the doctor of Sanlu would write such a sentence so playfully "Kunlun County Garden, its Jiri is safe"? However, when I think about it, I don't think it's incomprehensible. Moreover, this is also very reasonable, Qu Zi "loyal quality, body clean, straight as a stone, face like Danqing, do not hide his schemes, retreat regardless of his life, this sincere peerless trip", is a real merry and celebrity; Only a character like him, who has both worldly talent and informality, can recite such a seemingly vulgar but clumsy famous sentence!

Chen Pu couldn't help but laugh out loud. Tian Xiu and Nanyang also laughed.

Chen Pu leaned back and smiled back, squeezing her sister Nanyang's shoulder and beating her hard while laughing, while not forgetting to praise Shang Cheng: "Zida, what Mr. Zida said is really good and wonderful!" Ouch one by one, no, no, no, I'm really going to laugh to death! ”
