The "Seven Sons of Jian'an" are relatively old, about the same as Kong Rong. [2] In the last years of Emperor Ling of the Han Dynasty, Chen Lin served as the general He Jin.
He Jin summoned the Quartet border generals to Luoyang, the capital for the eunuchs, Chen Lin once admonished him, but He Jin did not accept it, and was finally defeated and killed.
Dong Zhuo was ruthless in Luoyang, and Chen Lin took refuge in Jizhou and entered the Yuan Shao shogunate. [2] After Yuan Shao's death, Chen Lin followed Yuan Shang.
Yecheng was lost, and Chen Lin was captured by Cao's army. Cao Cao loved his talent and did not blame it, and he was appointed as the air force division to sacrifice wine, so that he and Ruan Yu were in charge of the same room.
Later, he became the governor of the prime minister's door. In the twenty-second year of Jian'an (217), he was infected with Liu Zhen, Ying Ling, Xu Gan and others and died.
Chen Lin's writings, according to the Book of Sui and the Chronicles of the Sui Dynasty, contained in the original collection of 10 volumes, have been lost. Zhang Pu of the Ming Dynasty compiled the "Chen Ji Room Collection", which was included in the "Collection of One Hundred and Three Families of the Six Dynasties of the Han and Wei Dynasties".
