So Xuanzong ordered that Jinyiwei be sent to arrest Li Ying, Hailin, Sali and others and put them in prison. The power of the Li Tusi family in Xining was weakened.

In October of the first year of orthodoxy (1436), the Tatar leader Tai Duoer led his people to invade Zhuanglang, and the main force was stationed in the area of Hongchengzi and plundered everywhere. In the second year of orthodoxy (1437), the Ming court sent Wang Ji, the secretary of the military department, to Shaanxi to manage the border affairs of Gansu. Wang Ji, together with Jiang Gui and Ren Li, was equal to orthodoxy for three years, and successively defeated Atai and Duo'er only in Shicheng, Ulunai and other places, and since then the west of the Ming Dynasty has been a little peaceful. In the same year, Lu Xianpo took the capital Polo in Mihaquan and captured more than 1,000 people.

In the third year of orthodoxy (1438), Lu Xian conquered the crows, chased to Yibu Thorn Mountain, pacified it, promoted to the commander of the capital, and worshiped the hussar general and the governor's office of the right army. In the winter of 1442, Lu Xian repaired and expanded the temple in Myoin, and Emperor Yingzong gave it the name "Datong Temple". The years are unforgiving. By the tenth year of orthodoxy (1445), Lu Xian felt that he was beyond his strength. He hurriedly did two major things, one was to marry the eldest daughter of Huangzhong Gaoyang Bo Li Wen for his son Lu Jian. The eldest daughter of Gao Yang Bo Li Wen, this is the daughter of a well-known filial piety in the local area. The second is to ask Lu Jian to build a castle in an important place in West Datong in case of contingency. Lu Jian took people to check, and successively saw eight military forts in Liancheng, Heqiao, Fengle, Dujiawan, Majun, Qilidian, Hongshan, and Mazhuang, so the locals also called Xidatong "Babaochuan" in the future. Lu Xian knew that he had to push his son Lu Jian to the front as soon as possible. For this reason, he wrote to the imperial court, saying that his son Lu Jian was brave, resourceful, and proficient in martial arts, and asked the imperial court to allow him to be a hundred households, so as to help him train soldiers and cooperate to prepare for the border.

At the same time, in order to exercise his son's courage, at the end of October of this year, Lu Xian sent Lu Jian to lead his subordinates to bring thirty carefully selected war horses to Beijing to pay tribute. Lu Jian was fated, he didn't dare to be careless, he was alert all the way, stayed day and night, and arrived in Beijing as planned.

After receiving Lu Jian's tribute horse, Yingzong was overjoyed and ordered Lu Jian to go to the court to listen to the seal. Although it was the first time for Lu Jian to go to the court to worship, he was not flustered at all, his air was high, his steps were calm, and he bowed his head when he saw Yingzong in the upper hall: "Long live my emperor!" Hooray! ”

Yingzong saw Lu Jian, the tiger carried the bear's waist, and he was overjoyed like a god descending to earth, so he named Lu Jian as a hundred households. On the spot, Yingzong also made great achievements in guarding the border and gave Ganzhou the command of Tongzhi Hara surnamed "Mao".

Hearing that it was the commander of Ganzhou, Lu Jian couldn't help but feel respect. He saw that Mao Hara was in his fifties, and although his hair was a little gray, he was full of energy and heroic.

It turned out that Mao Hara was 32 years older than Lu Jian, and he was already a famous general who had been galloping on the battlefield for a long time, had established countless meritorious achievements, and was famous in the northwest.

At this time, Jiang Dudu attacked on horseback, and we also rushed into the enemy formation and defeated the enemy. It happened that Ning Yuanbo Renli also chased the enemy to Heiquan, and Atai and Duo'er only fled away with a few horses. The past is not worth mentioning. ”

Since then, Lu Xian has gradually retreated into the background, and Lu Jian has come forward in big and small matters. In the twelfth year of orthodoxy (1447), Lu Xian died. The imperial court mourned and sent envoys to mourn.

Cao Ming, a native of Huining, Shaanxi, admired Lu Xian very much and gave him a poem:

Generals of the Ming Dynasty,

The town of Dunhuang is martial and rao.

The Tiger Tent is divided into iron horses,

Cicada Kou Thousand Years Old Golden Sable.

Autumn Gaosai outside the horse,

In the middle of the night, the city head is silent.

But the Lord is looking westward now,

There is a class super on the jade gate.
