The two broke the table and chairs in front of the hall, and when they saw that Zhuang Zhong had been prepared, they hurried out of the village, saying that they would go to the state to report to the official and fight a lawsuit.

After Mao Zhongyi rescued the tiger to the state capital, he brought tolerance to arrest the Zhen brothers, and happened to meet the two in front of the village. The jailer Le He had an in-law relationship with the Xie Zhen brothers, and secretly reported to the cousin Gu Sister-in-law of the Xie Zhen brothers. Gu's sister-in-law was busy discussing countermeasures with her husband Sun Xin. Sun Xin entangled the heroes Zou Yuan and Zou Run of Dengyun Mountain, discussed the robbery, and planned to join Liangshan after the matter was completed, and used a trick to force his brother Sun Li to participate together.

Gu's sister-in-law infiltrated the prison in the name of delivering food, attacked Sun Li inside and outside, robbed the death row, and rescued the Xie Zhen brothers. Xie Bao killed Bao Ji with a flail. Zou Yuan and Zou Run broke into the state government and killed Wang Zheng. The Xie Zhen brothers went to Maojiazhuang with Sun Li, Zou Yuan, and Zou Run, exterminated the unsuspecting Mao Taigong, and then defected to Liangshan in the starry night.

After Sun Li, Xie Zhen and other eight people arrived at Liangshan, they learned that Song Jiang was leading an army to attack Zhujiazhuang, but they could not break the village in two battles.
