The J-10 is a single engine, and it is not capable of getting on the ship, and the J-10 is still belly air intake, and the landing gear in front of it passes through the air intake, which determines that it cannot withstand a particularly large torque, and if the carrier-based aircraft catapults and takes off, the landing gear in front cannot be strengthened at all.

Therefore, if the domestic development of carrier-based aircraft can only be built on the basis of J-11, there is no problem with twin engines, landing gear, etc., but if there is no reference, you will still take a lot of detours.

The fuselage should be treated with salt prevention, the wings should be folded, the engine should be pushed, the landing gear should be strengthened, etc., the country is blank, after all, the localization process of copying the Su-27 is not very fast, it is not thorough, and the modification is even more impossible.

Then look to the north, the Russian Kuznetsov is equipped with carrier-based aircraft Su-33, which is modified on the basis of the Su-27.
