I've written urban essays, I've written fantasy essays, and I've never written a historical novel.

In my perception, historical novels always have to be based on historical facts, and I feel that writing is too restrictive. And when I was writing, I was used to wild nonsense, so although I was very interested in history, I never dared to try it easily.

I am more concerned about the reflection of history in fantasy texts, such as "Tang Yin in the Other World" and "The Legend of the Wind Ghost", both of which are dressed in fantasy, but are actually descriptions of Chinese history.

This new book attempts historical texts, which can be regarded as a self-breakthrough!

The new book "The Son of Heaven" is written about Liu Xiu, the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty.

There are not as many literary works involving the history of the Eastern Han Dynasty as the Western Han Dynasty in the front, and they are far less than the Three Kingdoms in the back.

Sandwiched between the Western Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms of the Three Kingdoms, where 'the Yangtze River is rolling and the waves are sweeping away the heroes', the Eastern Han Dynasty seems to have no sense of existence.

This may be because Liu Xiu's restoration of the Han dynasty was too smooth, and it only took three years for him to complete the transformation from a peasant to an emperor, which makes people feel that there is nothing to write about, and among Liu Xiu's opponents, there seems to be a lack of unparalleled big names like Xiang Yu and Cao Cao.

But is it really that easy for Liu Xiu to ascend the throne?

Wang Fuzhi once wrote, 'It is especially difficult for the emperor to win the world with light and martial arts!' ’

Emperor Qin and Han Wu were slightly inferior in Mao Zedong's view, Tang Zong and Song Zu were slightly inferior to Wenzhi and martial arts, and Genghis Khan was just a martial artist, but his evaluation of Liu Xiu was that he was the most proficient in employing people, the most learned, and the most proficient in fighting in Chinese history.

In the Book of Han, Liu Xiu's most common words are: Work hard! He's worked hard all his life.

Liu Xiu's ascension to the throne was not easy, nine deaths, ups and downs, after ascending the throne, he inherited a fragmented, scarred mess, Liu Xiu took 12 years to completely eliminate the local separatism, to complete the unification of China.

Compared with his ancestor Liu Bang, Liu Xiu did not believe in the way of hiding the bird's bow, and after his throne was secured, he never killed a founding hero, and he could get along well with all the ministers who were highly meritorious. This is not only a matter of personal cultivation and morality, but also contains Liu Xiu's superb way of dealing with the world and controlling people.

Compared with his later generation Liu Bei, Liu Xiu has never been satisfied with the status quo, living in a corner, has been committed to unifying the world, and Liu Bei, he has also experienced failures and setbacks, every time at this time, he will not cry nose, let alone drop the child, he will always say two words to the people around him: work hard!

Try a little harder!

This is Liu Xiu.

Liu Xiu, who knows the strength of the grass!

(PS: I've always liked Liu Xiu, the Guangwu Emperor, and that's why I wrote Liu Xiu for my first historical novel.) The show of Shangguan Xiu in "The Legend of the Wind Ghost" is actually a quote from Liu Xiu's name. Many book friends will feel daughterly when they see Shangguan Xiu's name, but they actually don't know Liu Xiu very well. There is a kind of show in the world, which is Liu Xiu's show, a different show. )
