Chapter 0016: Into the Tiger's Den

Forward, the muzzle of the gun was smoking, and the bullets continued to hit the front of the trench, sending dirt flying.

Seeing that the other enemy who had just emerged next to him did not say anything, and did not serve as a target for his gun, he immediately retracted into the cat's ear hole in the trench. This guy swore he had never seen such a vicious soldier in his life, and he was so scared that he couldn't do it.

The grass was shallower under his feet, and he jumped forward over a crater, and there was a larger one in front of him, and beyond that he was the edge of the trench. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw many of his brothers lying around him, all of them dead, some of them very badly, and there were no corpses.

Immediately after jumping off the crater, he threw himself forward, stuck out his head and gun, and held his breath towards the trench, which was only two or three paces away, waiting for his opponent to come up and fight ready-made.

But now the distance was too close, and he felt that the muzzle of his gun was almost poking into the trench for the enemy to see.

If you are afraid that the situation will change, you can't wait for the opponent to automatically hit the muzzle, and strive for a quick solution is the best policy. The enemy hits one and the other, who knows what will happen next?

He reached for the grenade in his trouser pocket with his left hand, and the handleless grenade really helped him a lot. After biting off the tab, he threw it with his left hand.

In an instant, there was a loud bang in the trench, and the flames rolled upwards. Taking advantage of the smoke of the explosion, he got up and rushed out of the crater and jumped out of the trench.

In the blur he saw an enemy soldier who had blown off his calf and was lying in the trench convulsing, and he immediately fired a shot that helped him end his pain.

It was a roundabout fortification, and as I bent forward through the blast point, I found that the trench crossing was full of corpses, which looked terrible.

There was evidently a hand-to-hand combat in which a brother stabbed the enemy in the chest with a bayonet on the left, and he himself had a gun stuck in his back, and the bayonet was stabbed in the chest and was not pulled out.

A very young life ended like that, but it never fell.

Forward, he was stunned.

At his feet, there was a heavily wounded soldier with a dark face, lying on the ammunition box and "purring" and gasping. The man was ragged and covered in blood, and he couldn't be recognized.

Moving forward, he was afraid that he had hit his own person by mistake, so he leaned over to take a closer look and saw him shrinking his hand to touch something around his waist. He wanted to go and pull the grenade! Forward, he opened fire and fired two bullets at the door in front of him.

With another snap of his fingers, there were no bullets again, and he quickly changed the magazine.

Now the trenches were quiet, and there was no one alive but him. Looking at the martyr who did not fall, he felt like something was blocked in his heart, and he was very uncomfortable.

After glancing around, he continued to search to the left.

The grass houses were in the middle of the roundabout, twenty or thirty meters away, and they had to be reached as soon as possible to find out what was going on.

He jumped over another fallen comrade, then stepped on an enemy corpse and spun around twice in the circular cross-trench.

Suddenly, he heard a voice, and when he looked up, he saw an enemy appear through a clump of burning black grass stalks. An officer-looking guy came out of the straw hut with a gun in his hand.

Moving forward, he was about to open fire, when he suddenly found two soldiers behind the enemy officer, one of whom was carrying a radio station, and the other was holding a telescope in one hand, and his body was full of baggage, all straps.

Looks like they're going to slip away! Hit the official first, or?

Facing the three of them, he hesitated for a moment. In the blink of an eye, the soldier who was carrying the radio screamed, and the reaction was quite fast, the muzzle of the gun was raised, and the bullet was fired at him with a movement of his finger.

Moving forward, I felt the steel helmet on my head spin, as if I was under a lot of force. Before he had time to think about it, he threw himself down to the left side of the trench.

The enemy roared, bullets slanted into the wall of the trench above his head, and dirt fell. Seeing that it is not true, move forward and quickly roll to the right.

The earth on the edge of the trench on this side was also beaten straight down, and he was so frightened that he wanted to burrow into the ground. When he looked up and saw another cat's ear hole not far in front of him, maybe he could go over and hide for a while, so he quickly crawled over the right wall.

Pouting his ass, he crawled there in twos and threes, and before he had time to think about it, he immediately hunched his back and retreated into the cat's ear hole.

The sniper rifle on his back was a little longer, and the muzzle of the gun seemed to be clubbed on the roof of the cave. This was not good, he immediately untied it, put it at his feet, and continued to retreat inside.

There seems to be a stench in the cave, not smoking, but disgusting.

For a while, he didn't know what he was into, and when he took two steps back, he felt like he had stepped on something soft and slippery on his feet, and then he understood, this is the enemy's toilet, and pee are all solved here, no wonder it stinks!

Outside, the enemy had jumped over several trenches and was running towards his hideout.

There are three people on the other side, three guns, and they are locked here again, and it seems that this time it is more than lucky.

Forward, I really regret that I didn't fire the enemy first at that moment! Why is there a lack of tendons in the brain? He had repeatedly told himself to move fast. As long as the gun goes off, it doesn't matter who he is, killing one is one, and killing one is less threatening.

But now it was useless to complain, and the enemy had searched the roof of the cave and trampled on the dirt and fell straight down. He had to hunch his waist and continue to retreat, feeling that he was constantly stepping on the "landmine" under his feet, emitting a strange smell.

In normal times, when this happens, it's no wonder who doesn't open their mouths and scold. Now that the enemy is present, it is important to save his life, so he has to endure it.

I took another five or six steps back, and I couldn't go any further. He found that the space he was in was quite large, and the cat's ear hole was gourd-shaped, which could hide five or six people with a hunched waist.

But inside he couldn't breathe, and the rat was squeaking and scurrying around, crawling so much that he was covered with on the back of his feet.

After getting used to the dimness inside, he saw that the left shield was better enough to hide his body completely, so he immediately stretched his leg diagonally and moved to the left side of the entrance to dodge.

Moving forward, I heard it clearly, someone outside jumped out of the trench, and the footsteps were loud.

Nervously holding his gun, he suddenly realized that something was wrong, if the enemy came over and threw a grenade at the mouth of the hole......

At this moment, he was so shocked that the cold sweat on his back flowed down to the back of his head.

Kill it! The instinct to survive gave him great courage, and he immediately took two turns. But before he could rush out, he suddenly felt the hole darken. If you look closely, it's not good, a grenade is in the hand of a person and is about to be thrown in.

Is this still worth it? He immediately pulled the tongue of the gun, and the bullets in his hand "clicked" and shot straight out. The voice was muffled, but it was cheerful.

In an instant, the grenade was knocked to the ground by him, and it lay at the mouth of the cave "snorting" and smoking.
