It was a foot-mounted crossbow that was said to be able to break through 300 paces away. He presented his bow and crossbow to Emperor Zhezong of Song. The emperor was delighted and ordered the whole army to promote. He Xu became famous for this.

After Song Huizong succeeded to the throne, he continued to serve in the army, successively serving as the right military doctor, Weizhou assassin and other military attaché positions.

For the general state capital, the imperial court will send civil officials to serve as governors.
