Chapter 1 The Lonely Man Walking in the Valley

Next Chapter

As the sun sets, dusk stands, and a figure walks in the desolate meadow. The meadow was overgrown with weeds, tall and short, as far as the eye could see. I just saw mountains around the meadow in the distance, probably too far away, and I couldn't see it very clearly.

The grass was vast, and the man looked like a grass, but he was lean, and he was more conspicuous in the grass. He was wearing a pair of sneakers, his steps were staggering and crooked, and he was pale and sweaty, and the corners of his mouth were dry, he must have not eaten or drunk for a long time. I don't know where he came from, how long he walked in this meadow, he just walked forward silently, dragging his tired body, without hesitation, without turning back.

The sky gradually darkened, and the red clouds also fell. There was a faint heat sinking in the air, but I didn't feel the slightest flow of wind. The man was sweaty, panting, dragging his heavy steps, and he was about to suffocate, but he kept walking, finding no direction ahead and continuing to walk, as if waiting for the last shred of strength to fail.

How big is the heaven and the earth, and how wide the grass is. At this moment, only that person is very small, as small as a grass in the grass, even if the grass here still has companions, he doesn't, he is not even a grass.

It was completely dark, and the man could not see the direction, so he slowly spun in place. It's a strange place, you can't see the stars in the summer night sky, you can't see people's lights in the distance, you can't hear the footsteps walking in the grass, you can't even hear the insects chirping in the summer night. Perhaps he was so tired that his vision was blurred to the point that nothing was left but darkness, and all he could hear was his own heavy gasps and the pounding of his heartbeat.

Unable to walk, he fell into the grass in one figure, surrounded by deep weeds. The heavens and the earth rotate, the body is stagnant, and the eyes are difficult to open, as if the whole person is floating in the long river of time and space.

Is that how a person feels when he dies? Pity me in this life, I didn't accomplish anything, but after all, I ended up alone and suffering from a bad disease. Hum hum hum, I came softly, without a hint of luck. Hehehehehehe, I'm leaving, just let me go quietly. There seemed to be another silent sneer.

The world is long, the grass is vast, and the lonely people are lonely.

In the dark night, there was no light to be seen, so quiet that no insects could be heard, so stagnant that you could not feel the flow of the wind, only the breath of death enveloped the heavens and the earth. On the grass not far away, the man lay there cold, silent, hopeless and helpless.

I don't know how long it took, but a beating heart shook the peaceful atmosphere around me. He wanted to walk until he was exhausted, enter a deserted land, and leave the world so quietly and silently. But he didn't get his way. Disappointment, despair, anger, hatred. One by one, it seems to be a complaint about the world and an unwillingness to live a life. But he was so weak that he didn't even have the strength to open his eyes, and could only feel his own gasps.

The silence around him was terrifying, and his breath was like a thunderclap, knocking the whole valley. Suddenly, there was a change in the valley, lightning split the night curtain and lit up the night sky, and the sudden wind that fell from the sky swept the heavens and the earth, like a scene of the end of the world. By the light of lightning, I could see that there were mountains not far away. It's just that the four peaks look peculiar and weird, the mountains are dark black, the height is average, the shape is the same, and the distance is equal. At the peak, the lightning galloped faster and more violently, and the wind howled louder.

Although the man fell into a coma, he thought in his consciousness that he was dreaming, and thought to himself, is God laughing at me?

The lightning galloped, the thunder roared, and the wind howled, but there was no blessing of the torrential rain, as if there was a demon? But seeing that layers of black vortices rolled up in the sky above the man, they became bigger and bigger, cutting through the flatness of time and space, and a powerful strange force sucked the earth wildly, and the man disappeared into the valley in an instant. In a few moments, the whirlpool disappeared in the night sky, the wind and thunder stopped, and the valley returned to its former tranquility, so dark that nothing could be seen, as if nothing had happened.
