Chapter 190: The Mummy War

Eren didn't stop his attacks, and all the spells of petrification and disintegration slashed towards Tutamunka. [with _ dream]ā

Tutamunka pointed with Ron's wand at a stone cat next to the golden coffin, and the stone cat with green gems in its eyes leaped high and stood in front of Tutankunka, swallowing one of Eren's spells after spell.

"Kill them all!" Tutamunka let out a wicked laugh, "they- can't get out of this place alive!"

The stone cat sprang at Eren and them, its emerald gem eyes glowing with a faint chill.

It raised its sharp claws and slashed at Alan's throat.

Eren flickered slightly, trying to dodge the stone cat's claws.

However, he felt the stone cat's ancient fingers grazing the back of his neck—those cold fingers, hard.

Alan knew he would never forget that feeling.

A tingling pain in his neck.

Ignoring the wound, the wand in Eren's hand was silently replaced with a silver sword and slammed into the stone cat's abdomen.

Alan sliced it down, and the stone cat split in half and fell to the ground.

Tutamunka's expression became furious, and he raised his wand as if trying to amplify it.

"Run—run!" Nancy screamed. She pushed Alan hard enough to let him see where she was pointing.

There is a hidden doorway there.

Nancy let out a low sob as she ran.

Ron ran wildly, everything in the burial chamber blurred before his eyes.

Eren hurried to chase them, while trying to avoid Tutamunka's attacks.

Tutamunka's enchanted glow twined around Alan, his heart pounding.

Merlin blessed, and the three of them ran into the doorway, and Ron closed the door.

"Luckily, we dodged the attack!" Ron panted against the door.

"Look!" Nancy's trembling voice was filled with fear.

Allen's wand glowed faintly, and the light illuminated a hand.

A human hand.

Above that hand was an arm, which hung stiffly from an upright human body.

It was a mummy, and Eren recognized it.

It stands by the wall in front. The face, which had no eyes, no mouth, and was tied with a linen rope, seemed to be staring nervously at Allen, as if waiting for him to strike first.

Eren used his wand to shoot back and forth beyond the faceless, speechless mummy.

"Ahh

Dark, linen-roped mummies surrounded the three of them.

This room is packed with mummies!

In the dim glow, their shadows seemed to press down on the trio.

Nancy shuddered and stepped back behind Allen.

Alan scrutinized the mummies, their arms, torsos, and legs tied with linen ropes, and they stood stiffly in unison.

On one side of the wall was a row of mummified coffins, the lid open, the coffin rotting, and some white maggots wriggling between the sawdust.

"They're not going to come back to life, are they?" said Ron, swallowing.

"If you don't wear a mask, the one out there won't come back to life!"

In the deep darkness, the mummies' faceless faces silently watched the three arguing.

Everything in this room—the walls, the ceiling, the darkness—seemed to be closing in on the trio.

The mummies also seem to be moving towards them.

"Huh?"

Alan took a step backwards, and another step.

He realized that he was holding his wand so tightly that his grip hurt.

The glow of the wand shone over the faceless mummies, and they seemed, literally, moved forward!

Alan took another step back, his eyes fixed on the aggressive mummies.

What to do?

Panic was like a huge wave, sweeping towards the trio in bursts, drowning them.

Nancy and Ron couldn't believe their eyes, staring ahead.

A mummy leaning against the wall seemed to be leaning slightly sideways, the linen rope that bound them falling from their bodies.

They move their arms, necks, ankles, and ...... There was a crunching sound.

The three of them stared at the room that had suddenly come to life.

The mummies creaked and came to life!

The air was filled with the rotten smell of aged earth.

In the faint light, mummies lifted their arms over their faceless heads, moving slowly and painfully.

The mummies staggered and stiffened forward.

"What should we do?" Ron asked Allen with wide eyes, frightened.

What else can I do?

"Let's get out of here first!" Alan pulled open the door and slammed out.

A purple light hit Eren in the chest, and a huge force knocked Eren between the mummies.

The purple glow bounced off the Wonderful Wizard's robes, and the glow emanated from Eren and struck the stiff mummies in dispersion.

The mummies shuffled out of the door and approached Tutamunka.

Tutamunka shouted in a strange language.

Alan understood what he said, "Stupid slaves, go and kill those three!"

But the mummies were unmoved, and still moved closer to Tutamunka and surrounded him.

Tutamunka roared angrily and pointed the scepter in his hand at the mummy leaning in the front row.

A purple glow struck their chests, causing flames that quickly spread to their arms and legs.

But the rest of the mummies remained unmoved, neither slowing nor reacting to the fire that was rapidly engulfing their companions.

Tutamunka's mouth opened wide in horror, muttered a long string of words in that mysterious language, and then tried to escape.

But it was too late.

The flaming mummies rushed at him, grabbed him by the throat, and pounced on Tutamunka.

The mummies were piled up on Tutamunka's body in layers, and all the mummies burned with purple flames.

Tutamunka let out a piercing scream.

"Will they all die together?" Ron looked forward to it.

"Why would they help us?" asked Nancy, puzzled.

"I don't know. Alan shook his head and watched as things unfolded.

Actually, Alan probably guessed why.

The spell cast by Tutamunka is most likely a control and enslavement spell.

The spell struck Allen, and then bounced off the Wonderful Wizard Robes, hitting the mummies.

That's why the mummies turned against the water and followed Alan's wishes to attack Tutamunka.

It's just that it's too complicated to explain Ron and Nancy, and it's better to just say that you don't know.

The purple flames were extinguished, and in the thick pile of ashes, a humanoid creature struggled to get up.
