Chapter 5 The Sun Group

Among the Three Kingdoms, Soochow was also a very powerful force. Until the end of the Three Kingdoms, Soochow was also the longest-surviving force among the Three Kingdoms.

And Soochow's Sun Group is the leader of Soochow.

So how did the Sun Group develop? How did the Sun Group build up its power in Jiangdong little by little? It all starts with Sun Jian.

Sun Jian, Ziwentai. Born about 155 or 156 A.D. Sun Jian is the father of Sun Quan and Sun Ce. A native of Fuchun, Wu County.

Sun Jian retired from piracy because of his wisdom in his early years. And in Koto became famous.

In 185, Sun Jian became a strategist under the command of the chariot general Zhang Wen, crusading against Bian Zhang and Han Sui, and pointed out Dong Zhuo's crimes at this time. The suggestion that Zhang Wen went to kill Dong Zhuo was not adopted. In 187, he sent troops to attack Ou Xing and others who rebelled in Changsha.

In 190, he raised troops to attack Dong Zhuo. beheaded Wang Rui, the assassin of Jingzhou who had been rude to him. He also beheaded Nanyang Taishou Zhang Zhi. Seeing Yuan Shu in Luyang, he was named the general of the broken captives, and the history of the assassination of Yuzhou.

In 191, Sun Jian was attacked by Dong Zhuo's troops, led dozens of cavalry to break through, broke Dong Zhuo, and beheaded Dong Zhuo's subordinate Hua Xiong (it seems that it was not Guan Yu Wenjiu who beheaded Hua Xiong) was suspected by Yuan Shu and did not send him military rations. Sun Jian said that if the three clans of Dong Zhuo are not destroyed and the four seas are revealed, then they will not be blinded. raised troops to attack Luoyang, Dong Zhuo burned Luoyang, and moved the capital to Chang'an. Sun Jian entered Luoyang to repair the emperor's mausoleum and fill up the mausoleum dug by Dong Zhuo. In the well, the heirloom jade seal was found.

Around 191, Sun Jian was ordered by Yuan Shu to conquer Jingzhou and attack Liu Biao. After defeating Huang Zu sent by Liu Biao, he was besieged in Xiangyang Jianshan and was killed by the bow and arrow of Huang Zu's subordinates.

About Sun Jian's death. We can only get this from the historical sources that are available. Sun Jian died at the age of about 37.

So why did Sun Jian crusade against Liu Biao?

This matter also starts with Sun Jian's subordinates in "Romance" salvaging the jade seal of the country in the well.

Sun Jian has just obtained the heirloom jade seal. Sun Jian must have been so happy that he couldn't sleep. As a result, Sun Jian had the idea of keeping the jade seal privately. I want to use this to make a great career in the future. He also ordered his men to keep the matter a secret and not to spread the word.

What Sun Jian never expected was that there would be Yuan Shao's villagers in his army. The man secretly went to Yuan Shao to report the matter. After Yuan Shao got the news. Sun Jian was immediately summoned and asked him to return the jade seal to the imperial court, but Sun Jian denied seeing the jade seal. also made a poisonous oath that if he secretly hid the jade seal, he would not die well.

Yuan Shao insisted that Sun Jian had hidden the jade seal privately, and even forced him with a sword, but fortunately he was stopped by the princes. Sun Jian then led his men back to Jiangdong. Yuan Shao was furious. immediately wrote a letter, asking someone to rush to Jingzhou overnight to send Liu Biao to assassinate Shi Liu Biao, asking him to intercept Sun Jian on the way.

After Liu Biao received Yuan Shao's letter, he ordered Yue to be crossed, and Cai Mao led 10,000 troops to intercept Sun Jian. When Sun Jian's army first arrived at the border of Jingzhou, he saw that Yue Yue had been waiting there for a long time. Subsequently, Liu Biao also led the troops to arrive. Sun Jian was surrounded by the group, and at this time, thanks to Cheng Pu, Huang Gai, and Han Dangsan, Sun Jian reluctantly returned to Jiangdong.

From this point of view, there is a reason why Sun Jian crusaded against Liu Biao. Sun Jian came to crusade against Liu Biao in order to avenge the siege of Jingzhou, and finally died on the ground.

After Sun Jian's death, who will inherit Sun Jian's great cause? The answer is "Little Overlord" Sun Ce.

Sun Ce is Sun Jian's eldest son. This is in the next chapter. We will explore Sun Ce's life.

In addition, after Sun Jian's death, Dong Zhuo learned the news and became more at ease in Chang'an. It is said that a banquet was also held.

Sun Jian died, and his eldest son Sun Ce took over the handsome seal. He became the leader of the Sun group in Soochow. Sun Ce can be said to be the one who has made the greatest contribution in the Sun Group.
