Kuimen is sandwiched by the high mountains and Lingjiang River on both sides, and under the majestic and magnificent White Emperor City, it is the gate of the Yangtze River from the Sichuan Basin to the Three Gorges. The high mountains on both sides of Kuimen, the south name is "Baiyan Mountain", the north is called "Chijia Mountain", rises from the ground, towering into the clouds. On both sides of the river, the walls are like cutting, just like the gates made in heaven. The white salt mountain system is named because of the aqueous solution adhered to the rock, which mainly contains calcium and resembles white salt; Chijia Mountain is called Chijia Mountain because the aqueous solution containing iron oxide adheres to the surface of the weathered rock layer, and the soil and stone of this mountain are red, such as the back of a person.

Looking at each other across the river, one is dressed in red and the other is wrapped in plain, which can be described as a wonder. Both mountains are limestone, and the long-term wind and rain erosion make the rock walls on both sides of the bank like a knife and axe, forming a very beautiful fragment of landscape. The cliffs and steep rocks facing the river and the wind, although it is difficult to grow an inch of grass, but each shows its own color, these hues and the morning light, the sunset, and the bright moon complement each other.
