In the troubled times of the Warring States Period, the people endured too many worldly sufferings and dangers, and could not see the hope of the world, so they turned to seek religious solace, and the emergence of the Yizong sect just gave them a place of sustenance for their souls.

At the instigation of the Iljangsu, the people turned their attention from the miserable worldly life with no future to the beautiful Pure Land afterlife. They firmly believe that as long as they recite the Buddha and obey the orders of the Dharma Master, even if they are vulgar and ignorant, do not agree with the Dharma, are full of evil, marry a wife and have children, they can attain the transcendence of the gods and Buddhas. For this reason, whenever the monks of the sect called for donations, these poor and poor people would show their respect for the Dharma Lord with their small savings. And when the Dharma Master calls them to fight for the siege of the Dharma, these believers will go crazy. Because according to the Dharma Master and the monks, if you die in battle for the Dharma Master, you can go directly to the Pure Land and bid farewell to the miserable world.

In the eyes of Yu Qiuping and Ikeda Hengxing, such an idea is nothing less than ignorance and pathetic, and it is obvious that it is an excuse made up by the sect to deceive the people. However, for those people who are struggling to survive in the world, life has no color, and their only hope is the pure land in the afterlife, and only the sustenance of religion supports them to survive.
