First, the Wa Kingdom handed over 200,000,000 taels of silver to the Huaxia Kingdom, and the money was paid in eight installments: the first 50,000,000 taels should be paid within six months of the approval of the exchange in this treaty; the second fifty million taels shall be paid within twelve months after the ratification of the exchange of this treaty; The balance is divided into six equal payments and paid annually; The law is as follows: the first equal payment shall be paid within two years, the second within three years, the third within four years, the fourth within five years, the fifth within six years, and the sixth within seven years; The annual period shall be counted after the ratification of the exchange of this Treaty. After the first indemnity is paid, the unpaid amount shall be increased by 5 per 100 per annum; However, whenever the amount of compensation is paid in full or in a few cents in advance, it will be at the mercy of China. If the balance is fully repaid within three years from the date of ratification of the swap, the balance shall be free of interest, except for the interest paid or two and a half years or less than two and a half years or less than two and a half years shall be deducted from the principal amount payable.
Second, the Wa State sent 5 million laborers every year to build a railway for the Huaxia State free of charge for a period of 10 years, and as the labor export of the Wa State to compensate the Huaxia State with 300 million taels of silver, the Wa State did not charge any additional fees. Further, from the date of ratification of the exchange of this treaty, and before the new treaty is put into effect, all Chinese officials and subjects, as well as commerce, crafts, ships, and land trade, shall be treated as the most favorable state of the Wa kingdom. The provisions of the treaty shall be granted to each other after six months from the date on which the plenipotentiary ministers of the two countries draw the seal and seal it.
First, in addition to the commercial ports that have been opened in the present Wa Kingdom, it should be allowed to set up various places under the opening of the country and set up them as treaty ports, so that the subjects of China can travel to and from overseas Chinese residences and engage in the production of commercial crafts. ……
After reading the full text, Gao Junshan breathed a sigh of relief in his heart. It should be said that it is ideal to temporarily solve the problem of island countries in this way. There are 5 million laborers who come to China to build railways, and there is no need for elastic pressure, which will greatly reduce the resistance of the laborers of the island countries, and the labor enthusiasm of the laborers will also be greatly enhanced, which will be conducive to the process of opening the entire eight railway lines in China.
Once the eight railway lines are fully opened to traffic, the transportation capacity of Huaxia will be unprecedentedly improved, especially from Beijing to Yangon, from Beijing to Manchester (Manchester is the Bangkok of later generations), from Beijing to Cam Ranh Bay, from Beijing to Xichang, and from Beijing to the Persian Gulf.
As far as the island countries are concerned, they have already achieved their strategic goal of encroaching on them, and later, if possible, they will eat Shikoku Island again, further weakening the strength of the island countries, and finally implement the "melon-eating" plan to destroy the state apparatus of the island countries in one fell swoop.
