Chapter 43 The Science and Technology of Public Service Advertisements Are Important
Just after dawn, five Opel half-track trucks stopped in front of the building where Conrad Chuzer lived. Captain Bach jumped out of one of the trucks he was led by, and after a few shouts, a squad of paratroopers jumped out of each of the first four trucks.
Three squads of paratroopers imposed martial law on the streets, and Captain Bach personally led a squad of paratroopers to storm the house of Conrad Chuze to raid the house, no, to move.
Conrad Chuze was pulled aside by two paratroopers who were watching him and watched as the paratroopers swept his room empty, not letting go of every part and drawing.
In the end, Conrad Chuze could not escape the fate of being moved, and was carried down the stairs by the arms of two paratroopers on the back of a bear and stuffed into a truck.
When Konrad Chuze, who was handcuffed, got out of the car, he found himself in a barracks, which was the regimental headquarters of the Herman Goering regiment.
Konrad Chuze, along with his Z-2 computer and blueprints, was crammed into a long-vacated officer's quarters.
"He is not allowed to leave the building without my orders. Let the canteen send someone to bring him food every day, no abuse, a good attitude, and treat him as an air force captain. β
After Chen Dao finished explaining, he returned to his regimental commander's office, and soon after, Goering, who received the notice, arrived late.
The sleepy-eyed Goering sat down opposite Chen Dao and stretched his waist widely.
"If you don't give me a good reason, I will definitely deduct your dividends for disturbing my sleep."
"I have a good reason, I found a big business." Chen Dao said.
Goering's eyes lit up, and the tiredness in his eyes swept away.
Sitting up straight on the armrest of his chair, Goering stared at Chen Dao with blazing eyes.
"What business? How large? What is the profit margin? How much does it cost? GΓΆring asked four questions in a row.
"Do you know the steam engine? Watt's invention of the steam engine sparked the first industrial revolution and ushered humanity into the age of steam. β
"Stop." Goering shouted, "Don't give me science, don't force me to pull out my gun." β
"I remember the last time you said you were going to pull out a gun, I was explaining the cuckoo project to you." Chen Dao reminded Goering.
Goering immediately calmed down, "Is it a business of the size of the Cuckoo Project?" Say it quickly? β
"No, the Cuckoo Project is nothing compared to this business. Where did I just go? β
"The First Industrial Revolution." Goering reminded. "I know that the second industrial revolution is the electrical revolution, and you tell me directly, what does our business have to do with the industrial revolution?"
"I'm talking about a business that can trigger the third industrial revolution, let's call it the technological revolution. How much profit do you say this business can be? Chen Dao asked.
Goering's fat body bounced off the chair like a leather ball, leaning forward, his hands propped up on the desk, and staring at Chen Dao condescendingly.
"Are you sure this thing can spark the technological revolution you're talking about? I don't read much, don't lie to me. β
Chen Dao pointed to his eyes and looked at Goering, "Looking at my eyes, do I look like I'm lying?" β
Goering stared at Chen Dao for two minutes, then sat back in his chair, pinched his fingers and said excitedly: "If this business can really trigger the third industrial revolution, the word profit is no longer enough." Money printing factory, we are equivalent to opening a banknote printing factory. β
After a moment, Goering suddenly calmed down. "Are there any drawbacks to this business?"
"Cons?" Chen Dao thought for a while and said: "If there are drawbacks, the only drawbacks of this business are that the investment cycle is relatively long and the early profit is relatively small. However, we can operate a little bit to make more profits in the early stage. β
"How long is the investment cycle?" Goering asked.
"I estimate that the massive profit recovery should be fifty years from now." Chen Dao said.
"Fifty years from now?" The excitement on Goering's face immediately subsided considerably, and he frowned and thought about it, and after a few minutes, Goering picked himself up again.
"Fifty years is fifty years, I will always leave some inheritance to Ada, and I will treat this business as the biggest inheritance to Ada. It's just that you're sure this thing can really start an industrial revolution? Goering said.
"I'll take you to see that thing later, and if you're not at ease, there's a big deal. It's a business that pays for itself in about five years, and it's just as epoch-making as the first one I'm talking about, and it can also spark an industrial revolution. β
"What kind of business?" Goering asked, trembling all over.
"The first business I mentioned was called computers, and the second business was nuclear fission, or atomic technology. These two technologies have the potential to change the world. β
"Nuclear fission? Atomic energy? Goering's eyes twinkled, and he asked, "Is nuclear fission really that important?" β
"Of course, nuclear fission technology can create a super bomb that can destroy a city with a single bomb. It can also be used to build nuclear reactor power plants, in short, an epoch-making technology. Nuclear fission technology and computer technology will surely trigger the third industrial revolution, believe me. Chen Dao said with an oath.
"You know, I can't help but pull out my gun when I hear the word culture, let alone these humble science and technology."
"Your mentality is a disease that needs to be cured. You remember, from a political point of view, science and technology are the primary productive forces; From a military point of view, science and technology are the primary combat strength; From a business point of view, science and technology are the first money printing machine. If you don't pay attention to science and technology, you can't be a great statesman; If you don't pay attention to science and technology, you can't become a powerful military strategist; If you don't pay attention to science and technology, you won't be the richest man in the world. β
Goering took out a pen from the pen holder on Chen Dao's desk, asked Chen Dao for a piece of paper, and wrote down what Chen Dao had just said. Folding the paper and stuffing it into his pocket, Goering said with trepidation: "Since '37, we have been working on nuclear fission, code-named the uranium program. I didn't even know that this technology was so important, and I almost missed a major business opportunity. Thankfully, you reminded me. β
Chen Dao became interested and asked, "Uranium program?" Was it to make an atomic bomb? Where is the research going? β
"I don't know, I didn't care about this before. I'll keep an eye out for it in the future. Goering said.
"The uranium program must be treated as the most important project, and the results will be available in five years at most. I can guarantee it. Chen Daoxin said that if it doesn't work in five years, he will simply commit suicide.
If Germany does not possess the atomic bomb in five years, the two "bear children" of the US imperialists, the "fat man" and the "little boy", may run to Germany to splash and roll and create mushroom clouds.
"I will find a way to remind the FΓΌhrer to raise the priority of the uranium program and then increase the budget." Goering said.
"First priority, it has to be first priority." Chen Dao reminded.
"I remembered. We're not going to look at the computers you said. Goering said.
"Okay."
