Chapter 12 What hatred, what resentment
"Cooper, where are you from two to three o'clock in the afternoon?"
In Snape's office, there were large glass jars on shelves along the walls, and all sorts of disgusting things floated in them.
The fireplace was empty, and the black hole dimmed Snape's walls, and his voice was even colder.
"I was in the big classroom on the third floor for the Hearthstone competition. Karl said expressionlessly.
He's angry, and it's not bad if he doesn't just Snape.
Snape's expression darkened, and he stood up, leaning out from behind his desk, staring at Karl's dark eyes.
"Cooper, you'd better be honest with me!
"Bang!"
The office door opened, and Professor McGonagall walked in, just in time to see the scene.
"Professor Snape, what are you going to do?"
"Professor McGonagall," Snape retracted as he leaned out, "I just wanted him to tell the truth." β
"Snape, Carl is a student of Gryffindor, you have no right to interrogate him!"
Professor McGonagall looked at Snape angrily, Karl was her most proud student, and Snape was very upset about doing so.
She raised her wand and lit it at the empty fireplace, which immediately lit a fire and the office immediately warmed up.
"Sit down first. Professor McGonagall said to Carr.
After Carl sat down, she spoke, "Carl, I need you to explain why all the students are in the auditorium and only you are not there?"
"I-"
Karl opened his mouth, he really couldn't explain anything, and was about to make up nonsense.
"Bang!Bang!"
There was a knock on the door.
Snape, who had been watching, glanced coldly at Karl and walked around his desk to open the door.
A girl's figure hurried in, it was Hermione.
"Professor Snape! It's me! It's me who makes Carl - Professor McGonagall?"
Hermione saw Professor McGonagall, and then she saw Snape opening the door for her.
"Professor Snape. β
Hermione whispered hello to Snape.
"Miss Granger, what do you want to say?" Professor McGonagall asked.
Hermione immediately came to her senses, "Professor, I asked Carl to help, I had a question about combinatorial Transfiguration I wanted to ask him, and he went back to the dorm room to help me get his set of Hearthstone toys, so he didn't make it to the auditorium in time!"
"Is that really the case? Karl?"
Carl was stunned for a moment, then nodded.
Hermione actually lied to him, and to be honest, it was a bit of a surprise to Carl.
"Professor McGonagall, I think Miss Granger lied, and I suggest using a truth potion on Cooper!" said Snape immediately.
Professor McGonagall was shocked, and so was Hermione.
"Snape! You're crazy! You want to use a truth potion on a student! I know you're right with Carlβ"
Professor McGonagall stopped suddenly, turned her head, and said to Hermione and Carl, "Alright, there's nothing to do here, you can go!"
Carl nodded, tugging at a stunned Hermione, and the two walked out of the office one after the other.
As soon as I came out, the office door was slammed shut.
Snape's office was underground, and neither Hermione nor Carl spoke, and the two of them walked through the cold underground classroom, stepping on the narrow stone steps to the first floor, and the warmth and light finally enveloped the two of them again.
"Carl, I went to the library, that's the Curse, isn't it?" Hermione asked seeing that there was no one around.
Carl sighed, the girl was too inquisitive, and too smart.
Seeing Carl's acquiescence, Hermione's voice immediately raised a few points, "I almost told Professor McGonagall!"
"Then why didn't you tell her?" asked Karl curiously.
"You're the one who told me not to tell anyone!" Hermione gave Carl a blank look.
"Carl, what the hell is going on?"
Carl sighed again and shook his head, "I'm sorry Hermione, I can't tell you. β
"I knew it!"
Hermione looked like she knew this was the case.
Immediately, she looked into Karl's eyes, craned her neck and said, "I'll find the answer myself!"
"And-"
Hermione suddenly smiled at Carl.
"Thank you for saving me, Carl. β
Carl was stunned for a moment, then understood what the girl was talking about.
It was he who pushed Hermione away, or the killing curse would have hit her.
But he smiled and shook his head, "No, Hermione. β
"It's me, thank you. β
......
It only took one spell for Madam Pomfrey to wake up Jim Green.
But as for who stunned him, even he didn't know himself, and became a mystery.
After a long day's work, and a three-hour confinement at Professor McGonagall's in the evening, Carl finally dragged his tired body back to his dorm.
Several roommates had already gone to bed, and Carl spread out the quilt and was about to go to bed, when a note fell from his back on the bed.
- The Philosopher's Stone is still in place, and this time, spare your life, boy.
"Spare you uncle!" Karl couldn't hold back any longer and scolded.
His voice directly woke up several sleeping roommates.
"Carl, what's wrong?"
"It's okay, I'm sorry to disturb you. β
Carl apologized, and the little wizards soon fell asleep again.
Holding the note, Carl squeezed his hands white.
Too much deception!
Who the hell is it, who has repeatedly troubled him, and it doesn't seem that he really wants to kill him.
This person's mana is so powerful, last time, with just one hand of the Imperius Charm, he could make an ordinary wizard burst out with such amazing strength, playing with him between applause from beginning to end.
And this time, he infiltrated the school without anyone noticing, eavesdropped on their conversation without him and Voldemort noticing, and broke into the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts single-handedly.
It was the Headmaster's office, all the Headmasters in Hogwarts history had lived in it, and after their reinforcement, how strong was the defense of that office, and it was so casually broken into by a person?
Even Dumbledore, if he wasn't the Headmaster, would-
Wait a minute!
A light flashed through Carl's mind again.
This time, he finally determined who he had in mind.
If it were him, it would have been possible.
He knew everything about Dumbledore and knew all of Dumbledore's preferences.
He didn't need any hacking methods at all, he directly entered the principal's office with a password.
And this person's mana is also advanced enough, and even Dumbledore's absence at school is likely to have something to do with this person.
That's right, it must be him!
Gellert Grindelwald!
But, wait!
Karl was suddenly stunned.
He didn't doubt his guesses, and all the information was pointing to this person.
But no matter what he thinks, he doesn't have a grudge against Grindelwald?
The two of them don't have any intersection at all?
Do you need to play him to death like this?
What hatred and what grudge?
