1120. Infantry squad firepower

The rifles equipped by the soldiers of the infantry squad are mainly medium and formal rifles, among which the old sleeves made by Hanyang in the past have long been eliminated in elite troops like Sangou and them.

The antique Hanyang-made old sleeves are either used by ordinary troops, or used as teaching aids for military schools, and finally end up in the hands of civilian militias or bandits.

In addition to the Chinese rifle, there are also Japanese-style 38 rifles, Soviet-style Mosin Nagant rifles, and now they are also equipped with American-style Haruta rifles.

The Soviet-style Mosin Nagant rifle is actually quite useful, and it is also called "water lianzhu" here in China, because its gun sound is crisp, like water droplets splashing, so we Chinese give Mosin Nagant a rather poetic nickname.

The main feature of Mosin Nagant is that it is long, nearly one meter three in length, a little longer than the Japanese 38 rifle, and nearly half a meter long bayonet, which is more than the height of the average soldier of our Chinese army.

Maybe it's because the Maozi are tall, so they like to use spears, but there are many female soldiers, and they also gallop on the front line with such a long rifle on their backs.

The key to designing the rifle so long is not to simply fight the bayonet to have the advantage of length, but more to consider its rate of fire, range and accuracy.

Since the Mosin Nagant bullet is a caliber of 7.62, which is a little smaller than the official 7.92, it will be lighter and shoot a little farther, but it is a little larger than the 38 6.5 Tomosaka bullet, and it will not float up when it is fired far.

Coupled with its long barrel, fast muzzle velocity of the bullet, long range, high accuracy and high stability, Mosin Nagant is the closest to a sniper rifle.

This made the favor of the outstanding shooters of the third battalion, and now the third battalion is vigorously cultivating shooters under the promotion of the deputy battalion commander Xiucai, and the original excellent shooters are also distributed to each infantry squad.

Each infantry squad must ensure that there must be a good marksman, each shooter is equipped with an observer and ammunition man, and in the surplus company, even the observer in the squad is expected to have a telescope.

Most of the shooters in these classes like to use Soviet-style Mosin Nagant rifles, and recently when the American Garand (Eight Grains Fast) equipment came in, there were also some people who liked the Eight Grains Fast.

After all, the Garand is a semi-automatic rifle, and after a shot, there is no need to pull the bolt, and for the shooter, this setup is very good.

According to the past, they aim for a long time, and after hitting a bullet, if it does not hit, they have to pull the bolt again, even if the veteran does not need to look at the bolt, but it will affect the accuracy of the second shot, after all, the gun has moved a little.

Some ammunition soldiers will give the shooter their own loaded guns with the bolt drawn, but usually after the shooter has fired five rounds.

Therefore, the semi-automatic rifle of the eight-grain fast, similar to the machine gun with a single shot, is really much more convenient, especially in the second shot.

Even if the target is not hit at once, the second attack will arrive immediately, especially in the battle with the Japanese shooters, you can seize the opportunity, even if the time difference of 0.1 second is decisive.

In addition, the time to capture the next target is also saved a lot, and when everyone gets eight quick training, the shooting rate of hidden and moving targets is much higher than that of ordinary single-shot rifles.

And coincidentally, the eight Quick Garand semi-automatic rifle bullets and the Water Lianzhu Mosin Nagant bullets are of the same caliber, both 7.62, which can be shared compatible.

Therefore, the combination of excellent marksmen in the infantry squad is generally prepared with eight fast grains and water beads, and according to the situation, the two exchange weapons with each other.

In addition to the sniper group, squad machine guns have always been a very important configuration of infantry squads, and most of the squad machine guns still use Czech and Soviet turntables.

These two guns have good performance, high stability, and relatively simple maintenance, and are the favorites of machine gunners, as for the Japanese-style crooked handle, they will also be used, but the supply of bullets is not much.

The squad machine gun team is generally two people, one is a shooter, and the other is an ammunition hand who is also an observer and a deputy shooter, and the bullet base of the general squad light machine gun is about 500 rounds.

The amount of ammunition carried is generally determined according to the weight borne by the human body, compared to the bullets of pistols and submachine guns, machine gun bullets are slightly heavier, and one is almost one or two heavier.

Ten rounds of ammunition weigh nearly a pound, and 500 rounds will reach fifty pounds, and any more, the load of the ammunition crew will be exceeded, unless there are a few ammunition soldiers or the transportation channel is smooth.

The squad machine gun is the main fire support of the infantry squad, and sometimes in addition to the ammunition soldiers, the machine gun shooters will also help carry a little machine gun ammunition, so there will be more than one base ammunition.

In addition to the three teams of excellent marksmen, grenadiers, and machine guns for the squad, the infantry squad is now also equipped with a demolition team, and the regular configuration is also two people.

The two Demomen in the demolition team now carry explosives, grenades, and new blasters in addition to their normal rifles.

The blaster is just the name given by our Chinese soldiers, the earliest name is "Banderol torpedo", which is mainly used to break down the pit viper-shaped barbed wire, triangular piles and other roadblocks on the ground to break the position.

Later, the Japanese army also introduced and equipped a large number of blasting canisters for use on the Chinese battlefield, named 89 and 98 models.

When this blaster arrived in the Chinese army, the Chinese soldiers found it very useful, especially those blasters, who used to bomb the enemy's tank fortresses and so on, had to tie explosive packs to long sticks.

But this long stick is not often carried, and it is very dangerous to tie explosives, sometimes if the binding is not tight, it will loosen. In addition, the body size is large, and some small holes and small holes cannot be plugged in.

Another big disadvantage is that it is strapped to a large explosive bag, which can easily become the target of the enemy's bullets, and the enemy will concentrate the bullets to hit the explosives bag to detonate.

The blasting canister, on the other hand, is a perfect combination of explosives and a long stick, which is contained in a "long stick" (iron or steel pipe).

It is easy to carry, small holes can be entered, the enemy cannot detonate it with bullets, and almost all the shortcomings of the explosive pack tied to a long stick are solved.

Such a good "explosive bar" (blasting canister) immediately made the Demomen love it, and at first they called this weapon an explosive bar, and later collectively called it a blasting canister.

Of course, the charge of the blasting canister is not as good as that of the explosive bag, after all, the blaster is required to enter the operation, and the power is too strong to easily cause self-injury.

Now the demomen of the third battalion are prepared with both hands, carrying explosives bags and blasting canisters, and facing the fortress and bunker walls and the enemy's protected fire points, they use explosives packs, or tie several blasting canisters together to detonate at the same time.

In addition to the marksman, grenadier, machine gun, and demolition group, the infantry squad is the chief and deputy squad leader and riflemen.

Now there are not only shell guns, but also submachine guns for squad leaders, almost the same caliber of bullets for these two guns, can be shared, and there is no longer the dilemma that the bullets of the shell guns are thrown away as soon as they are finished.
