Regardless of everyone's wishes, Elvis quickly chose to leave, because, he didn't lie, he was also a dock worker since then.

However, unlike everyone, he does not believe in the state religion, which is the Anglican sect.

He believed in Calvinism, a Protestant religion that had come from the European continent, and if it was more accurate, he believed in a sect, and later became famous, and his followers were all called Puritans.

The so-called Puritan refers to the Reformation that began in the first half of the 16th century, which swept across Europe, and Martin Luther in Germany and Calvin in France became the leaders of post-Reformed Protestant Christianity.

The Reformation was long overdue due to the arbitrariness of the Anglican Church of England, but the Anglicans of England were influenced by Calvinism, and it was very large.

In 1524, the English Tyndale translated the New Testament into English, and he can be said to be the first Puritans in England.

The early Puritans wanted to live entirely according to the principles of Scripture, and obedience to the teachings of the Bible was their first priority.

Tyndale's goal was for every literate person in Britain to have a Bible.

Historically, Protestants in England, those who followed Calvinism and were dissatisfied with Anglican teachings, were called Puritans.

Due to religious persecution in England, most of the Puritans fled to the United States, so when people talk about Puritans, they generally refer to the Puritans in the United States.

And historically, the famous ship "Mayflower", the pioneer of American immigration, more than 100 people in it, were all Puritans.

What is Puritans?

Puritanism is not just a sect, but an attitude, a tendency, a value, and it is a general term for the belief of the group of believers.

The Puritans were the most religious and holy Protestants, believing that "every man is a priest and every man has a calling."

The belief that each individual can communicate directly with God is opposed to the arbitrariness, corruption, red tape, and formalism of the priestly group.

They advocate a simple, practical life of believers in which all people are equal before God.

If that had been the case, England would not have suppressed the Puritans in a big way.

These Puritans were dissatisfied with the reform of the state religion, or rather, with the incompleteness of the reform.

In the end, it even became a pro-national republic, opposed to the monarchy, and demanded that the church dominate the state, rather than the state dominate the church.

Of course, in such an extreme situation, there will be people who are dissatisfied.

So the Puritans were divided into two groups, the moderate Presbyterians and the Independents.

The Presbyterians initially supported the revolution with the Independents, but Cromwell, when he was gone, immediately fell in love with the Royalists and moved towards a compromise.

And our independents are unyielding, preferring to go to the Americas rather than support the republic.

Thus, the United States was born.

Speaking of the Puritans, we have to talk about its source, Calvinism.

This sect, in the capacity of King Edward, was extremely reactionary.

Because it not only rejected the interference of the king and the government in religion, but also preached the equality of the republic, and even demanded that the church govern the country and make the government subordinate to the church.

What's more, he actually did it, Calvin directly turned Switzerland into a **** country.

And, thanks to its emphasis on education and economic development, Switzerland is doing well.

Moreover, this person is very similar to the old Maozi of later generations, and likes to export his own thoughts.

Thus, after there was a precedent and it was successfully implemented, the French Huguenots, the Dutch beggars, the English Puritans, and the Scottish Oaths were born.

"Elvis, how's your operation going?" In between work, fellow Calvinists, who were also of strong faith, asked softly.

"It's okay, everyone is very interested in what I promote, and I think it won't be long before someone joins us!"

Elvis said with a little excitement on his face.

"Very good, keep up the good work, I think, it won't be long before our team will grow a lot!"

"Yes! I'm sure that day will come soon! Elvis said confidently.

Then, with excitement, Elvis felt that his strength had increased a lot, and his steps were much easier.

In this regard, he attributed everything to God Almighty, and his faith became more and more pious in his heart.

He didn't notice that as he spoke, someone behind him was watching.

In less than ten minutes, two pigeons flew out of Plymouth.

………

A day later, Edward's desk was filled with two letters of report, and the leader of the Darkblades, Guy Murphy. Ham and Jack of the palace intelligence service, with their heads bowed, stood on top of the king.

"Well, that's good, everyone is big and organized, and you came to tell me that Calvinism has taken root in England!"

Edward looked at the two leaders of the intelligence department who were silent in front of him, and he was angry, glared at them fiercely, and said angrily.

"You say, I spend tens of thousands of pounds a year to raise you, and you actually give me such a grade, can't I feed the dog with all the money!"

At this point, Guy and Jack bowed their heads and fell to one knee, not daring to shout in their mouths, Your Majesty forgives them.

And they were thinking in their hearts, if we didn't have any extra income from the little money you gave, we would have starved to death.

Of course, they didn't dare to show it on their faces, and they still looked like they were confessing.

Seeing this, Edward still looked at the two of them angrily and said no more.

The air, just like that, solidifies.

Time passed little by little, and most of the hour passed at once.

Edward saw a little gray hair appear on the top of Guy's head, and then saw that Jack had grown from a teenager to a sturdy young man, and sighed for a moment that time had passed, and then he sighed softly:

"Get up, as a punishment, you will be punished with half a year's salary, and you will be removed from your post to see the aftermath!"

"Thank you, Your Majesty, for your forgiveness!" The two of them hurriedly got up and thanked them, looking grateful to Dade.

"Guy, you dark blades, take charge of the area north of London, including Scotland and other places, find out all Calvinists, don't act rashly!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

Then Edward looked at the young and strong Jack and commanded:

"You, take everyone from the palace intelligence department, and screen all the areas south of London for me, and don't act rashly!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" Jack looked up and agreed in a sonorous voice.

"As for London, the two of you act together, and as a contrast between you, there is a reward for the winner!"

Edward pointed to London on the map on the wall, glanced at the two of them, and said meaningfully.
