When I heard from a friend who had come from the far seas that there was a rich and powerful country in the far east, far richer and more powerful than the countries of Europa combined, I was a little unconvinced.

But then I was thinking that a rich country might not be strong, and that if they didn't have the navy and army that we in Spain, they would be rich

It will only bring disaster to yourself.

But I was still wrong, because on the day I left Suzhou, I saw a strong army in heavy armor, carrying spears, and carrying steel knives entering from outside the city. I was blown away by just a closer look at this army. Although they are not as large as our Spanish soldiers, I believe that our valiant warriors may not be able to defeat them when the two sides are at war.

What's more, there was a glittering cannon in the middle of their ranks. It was the latest type of light artillery that had only recently become popular in Europa, and it was unthinkable that it had long been widespread in the far east. Moreover, there are more artillery pieces in Suzhou than in Madrid, so you must know that this is not their capital.

When I left the city of Suzhou, I had already fallen in love with the city. The only fly in the ointment is that the people here are too rich, and they have their own beliefs, and they do not believe in the glory of the Lord that I have proposed.

However, the Ming Kingdom is a vast country, and maybe other cities will be poorer than here, and I can always get the people here to believe in the all-knowing and all-powerful God.
