It is only in the "literary disaster" and those things that "make something out of nothing", such as the beans of the Han Dynasty and the car cover of the Song Dynasty, that I have always had the highest hatred and hostility.

During the Southern Song Dynasty, the country was humiliated and mourned, and the literary world was impassioned and agitated. Look at the test hand and mend the crack. Xin Jiaxuan, the rest of the representative figures, in the early stage, there was "who expected this life, the heart is outside the sky, the body is old Cangzhou" Lu Fangweng, there is "so that pedestrians come here, loyal and angry." There are tears. Zhang Yuhu, there is "Yao Zhidu, Shun Zhiyang, Yu Zhifeng, Yu Zhongying, a half shameful Chen Longchuan", in the later period, there is "always not involved in the spring resentment" of Liu Hou Village, there is "southeast charming, female male" Chen Guifeng, there is "Xianyang sent guests back and forth, the oblique sun has not been saved. The author of the above poem is Liu Houcun, his first name is Zhuo, his later name is Kezhuang, the word Qianfu, the number Houcun, there is "Mr. Houcun's Long and Short Sentences" handed down, and among the literati of the Xin School in the later period, he is the first in terms of his achievements.

Speaking of which, in his works, the popularity of "Visiting Mei" is really small, "General Li, Emperor Gao, and the Marquis of Wanhu are full of Taoism." "The man's northwest has Shenzhou, and Mo drips tears on the side of the West Bridge." The boldness of ", as well as the creative attitude of "always not involved in boudoir love", are more familiar. The reason why it was deliberately selected is because this poem is only 28 words, but it contains three stories of disasters caused by literature. The first sentence is the "Xuandu Peach Blossom" of Liu Mengde in the Middle Tang Dynasty, and the background of the era is Yongzhen's innovation, the second sentence is the "Dongmen Willow" of Li Changyuan in the Tang Dynasty, and the background of the era is Yang Guozhong's victory, and the third and fourth sentences are talking about the author himself, and its background is the dictatorship of Shi Miyuan in the Southern Song Dynasty.

Mengde, is Liu Yuxi (the word Mengde), he is a poet who was very active in the Tang Dynasty, and Bai Lotian Han retreated to Liu Zihou in the same era, is an important figure in the "Yongzhen Innovation", the people of the time talk about the innovative figures, there are the so-called "two kings Liu Liu", "Liu" is Liu Yuxi, the name is after Wang Ling Wang Shuwen, before Liu Zongyuan.

(Of course, the origin of the abbreviation itself is not very glamorous, but more on that later.) )

If you want to talk about "Yongzhen Innovation", you have to start with the "Anshi Rebellion".

Li Tang founded the country, after Gaozu, Taizong, Gaozong, Zhongzong, Ruizong, Wu Zhou successfully established the only female regime in the history of our country and the efforts to establish a female regime again after defeating Wei, and finally ushered in the only one that can override the "rule of Wenjing" and "rule of Zhenguan...... On top of the "rule", it can be recognized by historians of all generations as the golden age of "prosperity": the "prosperous era of Kaiyuan" created by Tang Xuanzong Li Longji and many extremely outstanding talents.

Recalling the heyday of the Kaiyuan Dynasty in the past, Xiaoyi still hides thousands of rooms.

It's a pity, just as it has been staged more than once in history, the earth-shattering giant, who has made great achievements in the world, is invincible, so he entertains himself a little, so he is tired of politics...... However, in the process, the giant, or the giant who had been, still had the strongest confidence and an invincible conceit, which blinded his eyes, so that he could not see the faint trachoma on the embankment.

The impact of the Anshi Rebellion can be roughly compared to the poison that Xiao Tie was given in the Battle of Gufeng: it can't "poison you", but it can "poison you to death". It did not end the Tang Dynasty, but it planted two major deaths for the Tang Dynasty: the self-dictatorship of the feudal towns and the interference of eunuchs. Since then, successive Tang emperors and political elites have tried their best to control or even cure these two stubborn diseases, but they have failed. Theoretically speaking, this should be a good thing to be supported by all the royal family and scholars, but unfortunately, due to many major defects in the congenital (at the decision-making level, Shunzong had a stroke when he succeeded to the throne, and he couldn't speak, and at the executive level, the two kings were not upright, especially Wang Shuwen, who was often accused of being the initiator of the rebellion of the Tang generation), Yongzhen Reform failed to unite all the forces that should be united, but first provoked the infighting between the royal family and the vicious struggle between the courtiers, and failed in only half a year. Shunzong was promoted to the emperor by his son in accordance with the tradition since the founding of the Tang Dynasty, "two kings Liu Liu", Wang Ling died of grief, Wang Shuwen was given death, Liu Yuxi released Lianzhou Assassin History, not two months, and then moved to Langzhou Sima (in the same period, Liu Zongyuan was demoted to Yongzhou Sima, and the junior high school textbook has a selection of "Little Stone Pond Records", which was written in this period. Moreover, the edict also made it clear that "although the pardon order is later changed, it cannot be forgiven!" It can be said that, theoretically, unless Xianzong dies early, their political life is over.

In the territory of the Tang Dynasty's exile, Langzhou (now Changde, Hunan) has been regarded as one of the outermost areas, and the places bordering it have not even been kingized, that is, the so-called "barren" (speaking of which, that "barren land" is really very famous...... "the state is connected to Yelang Zhuyi, and the customs are very ugly. ”)

It is worth pointing out here that Liu Yuxi, and even the exile of Yongzhen Qunchen, can be regarded as planting melons and getting melons, when they were ordered at that time, they did not perform well, and people at the time discussed, thinking that Wang was arrogant, Shuwen was yin, even if Liu Yuxi, there was also a record of repulsion of the distant domain because others were not attached to him, and the secretary of the New Tang Dynasty was "where the advance and retreat, depending on the severity of love and anger, people dare not refer to their names, called 'Erwang, Liu, Liu'." In other words, they were so arrogant that people didn't dare to mention their names behind their backs...... The so-called "spring breeze and summer rain", from this point of view, what happened to them after losing power should not be an accident.

However, from another point of view, this group of personnel does have their ability, so after a long, long time, the emperor finally flew out of the edict to return to Beijing.

…… At that time, it was ten years for Yuan He, and it has been ten years since Liu Yuxi's release.

Ten years...... I can't bear to sigh in the mirror, how many more years does my life have to be? Especially for a politician who has been on the clouds and was once ambitious, there must be many unforgettable things in the ten years of traveling between mountains and rivers, and there must be a lot of lonely night and missing realizations.

(However, judging from what happened later, he may have understood something, but he did not understand it, of course, this is a story for another time.) )

Returning to Liu Yuxi, it is fair to say that the prospects when he was recalled were not good, "I want to be the Lang of Southern Province".

Southern Province, is Shangshu Province, Tang has Zhongshu, Menxia, Shangshu three provinces, the geographical location of Shangshu Province in the southernmost part of the three provinces, so the name of the "Southern Province", later Song Dynasty attack Tang system, is also called so. Nan Shenglang is the abbreviation, that is, Nan Province Shilang, in terms of level, it is the fourth product (Liu Yuxi supervised the imperial history when Yongzhen was reformed, but it was only the eighth product), in terms of weight, it can be regarded as the assistant to the prime minister, and it is a good position with a good face.

At that time, there was a Taoist temple in Beijing, called Xuandu Temple, because the Taoist priest was very good at planting peach blossoms, it became a famous social place, and the crown was covered all day long, and it was lively and tight.

It is said that during the Tang and Song dynasties, the cultural atmosphere in the society was not too strong, but when people with heads and faces participated in such social activities, they had no good clothes to wear, no horses to ride donkeys or even walk by themselves to be a car, and everyone didn't care. But if you go to play and don't write a poem or something, then even the family is embarrassed to say hello to the neighbors when they go out the next day.

In this context, we understand that Liu Yuxi must have written poems when he went to see the flowers.

"Yuan He was summoned to Beijing from Langzhou in the tenth year, and the play was presented to the gentlemen who watched the flowers"

Zimo red dust is blowing on his face, and no one is looking at the flowers. The peach trees in the Xuandu Temple are all planted after Liu Lang goes.

To say, this poem is nothing, to be honest, he has been gone for ten years, and these trees are designated to be planted after he left, but everything can't stand pondering, let people listen to it and think about it, this matter will be troublesome.

"It's all planted after Liu Lang goes"...... Do you have something to say here?

The pointing meaning of the word "Zimo Hongchen" is very strong, that is, the source of today's "big red and purple", the so-called "Zhu Zi Fugui" of the Tang people, is the color of the official ribbon, with these four words, some people insist that he is coming to the officialdom, that is impossible to distinguish at all.

Speaking of the evaluation of this copy, one of the routines is "In this poem, Liu Yuxi's firm stance as an important reformist is vividly expressed, showing his unreserved contempt for conservatives and his fearless fighting spirit of reform, so he has been hostile to conservatives (and also written as "diehards") and further attacks......" and so on, although this was roughly written in the era of "river falls", but to this day, it seems to have remained the same.

Isn't that right? It can't be said that it's completely wrong, Liu Yuxi is obviously a reform diehard, and this poem is obviously written with a lot of emotion, all of which are no problem, and if you read it in conjunction with another poem he wrote when he looked at the flowers again thirteen years later, it will be even more obvious that his attitude is really consistent.

(Thirteen years later, Liu Yuxi was recalled again and used as the main guest, but he was really stubborn, and he went to Xuandu again, and took a look, oh?) It's not going to cost you now, huh? I write poetry without flowers! "Where is the Taoist priest who planted peaches, the former Liu Lang is here again!" , that's all, and I wrote a preface by myself, called "Only rabbit sunflower oats, shaken in the spring breeze"! You say, let these few words outward, can those "rabbit sunflower oats" in the current dynasty treat him? Although he was not kicked out of Beijing again this time, he was ...... It is true that he has completely cut off his career. )

However, if we only analyze this level and attribute only the fault to the so-called "conservatives", I think, it is also wrong, or at least not entirely correct.

At least, we can raise a question, it was Liu Yuxi who wrote the poem, but looking through the history books, we will see that it was a group of people who were expelled from Beijing, a group of people, all of whom were exiled to the Yuanjun Sima ten years ago, and the former ministers who had just been called to Beijing, including Liu Zongyuan, Han Tai, and Han Ye...... are all Yongzhen's innovative cadres, "two kings and eight Sima" (by the way, this is also a circumstantial evidence, indicating that in the Tang Dynasty, "Wang Ba" was not a curse...... ), of the membership. Even if his poem is really annoying, what about the others?

What's going on?

…… In science, there is a basic principle, if a theory cannot explain the facts, then the theory must be wrong, and here, since the theory of the so-called "conservatives" frantically persecuting the "reformers" cannot explain these facts, then we can say with great confidence that this theory must be wrong.

In fact, the terms "reformers" and "conservatives" are simply unreasonable, and if measured by the goal of the "Yongzhen Reform" of that year, the achievements of the rectification of foreign feudal domains during the reign of Xianzong can be called remarkable, and the historical name is "Yuan and Zhongxing", which can be said to be the beauty that Wang Shuwen may not have dared to imagine at that time. If it is true that the country is stronger than it was then, if the ideals of the Yongzhen revolutionaries have been gradually put into practice, then what should be said about the behavior of still standing in the distance, angry and continuing to isolate themselves?

Please remember that Liu Yuxi's recall was not a separate act, and he came back with many comrades who fell together ten years ago...... What does this mean?

Emperor. It was the Son of Heaven who deliberately used the new party. Only by explaining in this way can we tell all kinds of facts.

Of course, judging from the history books, it seems that this is not the case: in various records, it is said that "the prime minister wants to use", "love each other's talents" and so on...... Still, I stand by my point.

As for the reasons for this decision, two words can be explained...... Clique.

The biggest negative impact of Yongzhen's innovation is that it opened the curtain of the dispute between the friends and the party, first the king and the martial arts fought to the death, water and fire were incompatible, and then the cattle and Li fought each other, and they did not get along, and so on, until the death of the Tang Dynasty.

As far as I'm concerned, it's rare to give a complete ** to one thing: even the literal prison itself, I've always been in favor of taking into account the position of the ruler in its entirety, but I really can't say anything good about the "partisan" thing.

It should be noted that "political parties" and "friends" are two different things, and although it is true that political parties in most countries in the world now have a tendency to become partisans, they still have to be clearly distinguished.

Confucianism's saying: the gentleman is harmonious but different, the villain is the same but not harmonious, and it is also said: the gentleman is in harmony with righteousness, and the villain is in harmony with profit. In this regard, I think the difference between a "political party" and a "friend party" is very clear. Those who support for the sake of support and oppose for the sake of opposition are the parties, and those who support and oppose for the sake of principles are political parties.

In my mind, the "partisan" is one of the most hateful existences in politics, especially when the two parties are at odds with each other, and if it is extreme, I would rather exchange an autocratic emperor for two opposing friends, because the autocracy has at least "may" do one or two things, and the combined force of the friends can ensure that "absolutely" nothing is right.

(By the way, digression, the so-called "democratic countries" in today's world, after decades of peace, there is a tendency for many political parties to become partisans...... Even some so-called "nascent democracies" have a history of democracy that has been in place for 10 or 8 years, but before they can truly demonstrate the strength of democracy, they have already slid impatiently into partisanship. )

Of course, the government that Xianzong faced had not yet seen such a situation of confrontation between the two parties, in fact, he still hoped for this situation, because at that time, there was only one party above the court...... The bureaucracy that had rallied in opposition to Yeongjeong's party a decade earlier and eventually pushed for the ascension of Heonjong.

We must make it clear that Xianzong opposes Yongzhen's reform, not because he opposes reform, but for his own position, once he ascends to the throne, Yongzhen's reform of "power is returned to the top, and the eunuchs are cut down", but it is immediately right, plus the old ministers such as Wu Yuanheng and others rely on their own merits, and they feel more and more that they are really important ministers such as Baiyuzhu Zijinliang, in this case, who is the leader on top, will also consider balancing.

To achieve a balance, Liu Yuxi is of course a good candidate, in the "Two Kings Liu Liu" who worked side by side on innovation, Wang Ling died of illness, Wang Shuwen died, and he was the next count, not to mention that he and Wu Yuanheng still have personal grudges, and there is no need to worry about being absorbed by the Wu Department. From this point of view, Liu Yuxi's backlash from the old party is simply in line with the wishes of the Constitutional, how can he be angry and degraded? In other words, if it was just because he couldn't withstand the pressure of the old party, then how could he recall all these people from the beginning?

You know, from the history of the Tang Dynasty, Xianzong is not incompetent, since the Anshi Rebellion has lost the power of the local feudal town, it is in his hands that there is a substantial recovery, middle school textbooks have selected "Snow Night Ping Caizhou", is a rare proud work of the Tang Emperor after Tianbao, the new Tang Dynasty book praises and says, "Since Wu Yuanji punished, the strong feudal generals want to repent and obey." At this time, the prestige of Tang was almost revived. Xu Qi uses the words "just and decisive", which is better than the "strong and bright self-responsibility" of Dezong in front of him, and the "faint boy and immorality" of Muzong Jingzong in the back, and the evaluation is really not one or two points higher.

Therefore, Liu Yuxi's depreciation this time has a deeper background, and it must be analyzed from a larger place.

As mentioned above, Tang Shunzong's innovation failed, and he was pretended to abdicate the throne, and Xianzong came up, although it was said that it was the Ming rule of the Tang Dynasty to invite his father to be the emperor, but it was not a good reputation after all, not to mention Tang Xianzong's "Gang Ming and decisive", eager to pursue the concept of chastity, and the character of Xunbi Tianbao? At the same time, if such a person wants to give up his existing ideas, give the Yongzhen ministers who have been summoned to the capital again, and let go of the Eight Desolations, what kind of motivation must he have?

…… If we open any basic philosophy, we will see that "internal causes are the decisive factor in the development of things".

From the emperor's standpoint, your previous mistake was not to carry out reforms, but to stand on the wrong side, so now I give you a chance, come back and stand in line again, and continue to support me in carrying out reforms, everyone is still good comrades, but ...... There is a premise here, if you still don't realize that the essence of the mistake is to stand in line and not to reform, then I'm sorry, you go back and forth there, you can't do reform without you?

Therefore, strictly speaking, Liu Yuxi's exile has nothing to do with his peach blossom poems, and the real problem lies in the fact that he and they have not completed the transformation of their psychological positioning, and have not answered the question that the highest level of authority has never asked: Are you loyal to the cause of reform itself, or are you loyal to the person who carried out reform?

…… We may be able to answer this question with two other passages.

"At the beginning of Xianzong, Liu Zongyuan and Liu Yuxi went to Beijing. Russia takes Liu as the history of Liuzhou thorns, and Liu as the history of Banzhou thorns. Liu is the most evil in Banzhou, please exchange it for Liuzhou. Don't allow it, the prime minister said, 'Yu Xi has an old relative', and said: 'But you have to be with the evil county!' How can I be a mother! ’”

And later, Liu Yuxi traveled to Shu, hung the old traces of Zhaolie, and actually left such a strange sentence: "You have to be able to open the country, and you don't like to have a son." ”

…… In the above text, the words "Zheng" and "Russia" are both very interesting, and as for the sentence "get the appearance and give birth to children", it is even more difficult to believe that this is just a pure talk about the ancients.

In fact, we can safely say that the responsibility for Liu Yuxi's exile is not even his personal (of course, as the number one person in this group at the time and the most influential, he should undoubtedly bear the greatest responsibility), and the truth of history should be like this:

In order to check and balance Wu Yuanheng's party, and in the hope of borrowing the ability and persistence of Yongzhen's party, Xianzong promoted a series of personnel cases, recalled the remaining elites of the two kings and eight Simas, and unmistakably released a signal of "intention to reuse", wanting to exchange for their loyalty.

However, perhaps Liu Liu and others were too loyal to Shunzong, perhaps the pain of ten years ago was too deep, and perhaps they were just afraid that the old party would be reused by the new party to create rumors and illusions in a timely manner.

Ten years ago, they rushed south, and ten years later, they thought they saw spring, but found that it was really just a bitter spring cold!

But we cannot but respect their persistence, and they do not hesitate to give up the opportunity to regain their glory and wealth, and return to those bitter waters and evil lands once again, no matter how frivolous they were when they were young, and at this moment, they have paid off all their debts.

Of course, they also got their rewards: they lost the "now" in exchange for the "eternal".

Our ancient nation, which has gone through vicissitudes of life, will always give very high, even the highest respect, to those who are willing to give up their material interests in order to uphold their principles, such as Boyi, who does not eat Zhou Su, and Qu Zi, who does not eat dregs...... Even, Mr. Ziqing, who doesn't eat good food.

The Qing people tried to be mean, and discussed the difference between famous eunuchs and famous prostitutes with Su Xiaoxiao Li Shishi Hong Chengchou and Qian Qianyi, the famous eunuch is to enjoy the fame in front of him and work hard behind him, and the famous prostitute is to enjoy the fame after the hard work, although it is not dignified, but it is ...... Isn't it unreasonable?

For this model, I call it "backbone loser", the Chinese are not a nation that loves to sing elegy for the loser, and even, it can be said that it is a nation that moves extremely quickly when abandoning the loser, but at the same time, if the loser can retain the backbone, but can win extremely high respect, and can even achieve a position above the winner in the cultural structure.

This seemingly contradictory psychology can be used to explain Lao Tzu's assertion: "The world knows that beauty is beauty, and evil is evil; We all know that what is good is good, and what is not good is good. The crowd who quickly turned around for the sake of realistic goals may not be criticizing their "flexibility" in their hearts, and when there are loyal ministers who dare to "persistently", the obedient people in the new era will be even more faintly painful while can't help but praise.

Because, they know, it really can't be "supported", but it definitely deserves "respect".

That is the soul of our nation, flexibility, perseverance, and a nation that does not understand the "holy time" will not have a "future", but the whole country is a nation of Marshal Petain, but even the "present" cannot be preserved.

Our nation, which is not the oldest and not the most brilliant, but the most long-lasting magical nation, has come to the brink of extinction again and again, but can always be reborn again and again, this wonderful combination of flexibility and perseverance is also, one of the reasons, right?

Speaking of which, we will understand that Liu Yuxi's peach blossom poems, itself or should not be called "literary disaster", strictly speaking, this is a generous gift from history, as the last big man and the most persistent figure among the Yongzhen ministers, history, and the scribes of the past dynasties, chose him as the representative of this small group full of tragedy and ideals, so that they can go into history and enter the road of immortality.

Peach Blossom Poem, it is really just a romantic story, a typical symbol, full of rich legends, let us sigh, let us choke, let us simplify history to "bad people bullied good people" such a well-known patterned story.

But really, history, how simple has it been?

Peach Thousand Trees in the Xuandu Temple...... You can say that Liu Yuxi was hit too hard, but it is not necessary to say that he was persecuted, and it is not necessary to say that he suffered a literary disaster or even a literary prison...... When he didn't intend to reach out to cooperate, why should we sigh for the other party's hand to be withdrawn?

…… Yes, seek benevolence and get benevolence.

I don't like it, but I must admit that with my experience and knowledge, I can only describe it to this extent.

"Revisiting the Xuandu View"

"When Yu Zhenyuan was a member of Tuntian in the twenty-first year, there was no flower in this view. It was out of Lianzhou (now Lianxian County, Guangdong Province) to find Sima in Langzhou. After living for ten years, he was called to Beijing. Everyone said that there are Taoist priests who plant fairy peaches full of views, such as red glow, and then there is a preface, with a temporary thing. Whirling and shepherding. Now there are four years of ten, and he has returned to the main guest Lang, revisiting the Xuandu Temple, and there is no more tree, but the rabbit sunflower and oats are shaken in the spring breeze.
