Chapter 1298: A History of Humiliating Blood and Tears
"You ......" Molotov's face flushed, and he was dumbfounded, unable to say a word anymore.
As a nation, the Soviet Union first evolved from the East Slavs scattered on the Eastern European Plain from the eighth to the ninth centuries AD, and it was not until the early 14th and early 15th centuries that the Soviet Union became a nation with a unified language.
As a state, the Soviet Union was developed from the Grand Duchy of Moscow, founded in 1147, and it was not until 1522 that Vasily III annexed Ryazan to Muscovy, and the Soviet Union was formally formed as a centralized state. At that time, the borders of the Soviet Union were about 2.8 million square kilometers from the North Sea in the north, the Oka River in the south, the upper reaches of the Dnieper River in the west, and the Ural Mountains in the north.
Before 1364, the Soviets had never entered the east of the Urals. It was not until 1581 that the Russian, with the support of the government, crossed the Ural Mountains on behalf of the country and entered the place of residence of the Mongol compatriots in China.
After the establishment of the Soviet Union as a state, successive rulers of the Soviet Union took territorial expansion as their main national policy, and they expanded from the four directions of the south, south, and west through war, killing, threats, inducements, deception, bribery, and all other despicable means available to the world, and countless countries, nationalities and local indigenous populations were eliminated in the process of their expansion.
By the end of World War II, the Soviet Union had become a country with more than 22.42 million square kilometers spanning the Eurasian continent. In other words, by the end of World War II, the Soviet Union had occupied nearly 20 million square kilometers of land of other ethnic groups, and in this nearly 20 million square kilometers of land, they had invaded and occupied more than 14 million square kilometers of China and its vassal states through unequal treaties and barbaric acts of aggression.
It can be said that there is no second nation in this world that is as greedy, despicable, and barbaric as the Soviet Union, and there is no second country that has brought such a huge loss of national interests and hurt national feelings to China as the Soviet Union.
And all this is not fabricated out of thin air, it is all well documented.
On September 7, 1689, the Soviet Union, through the Treaty of Nebuchu, occupied a vast area east of Lake Baikal and the area around Nebuchu and the Trans-Khingan Mountains (i.e., Western Siberia), with a total area of more than 8 million square kilometers.
The Treaties of Brensky of August 31, 1727 and Kyakhta of October 21, 1727 legalized the Mongol territories occupied by the Soviet Union, and also included the area around Lake Baikal and the upper reaches of the Yenisei River north of the Tangnuliang Sea into the territory of the Soviet Union, and China was deprived of more than 600,000 square kilometers of land under these two treaties.
In 1789, the Soviet Union expelled the indigenous inhabitants of Sakhalin by force and incorporated the island into Soviet territory.
On April 16, 1858, under the sword and gun of Moraaviv, Yishan signed the "Aihui Treaty" without the consent of the Qing government, which assigned the land north of Heilongjiang and south of the Outer Xing'an Mountains to the Soviet Union, with an area of more than 600,000 yuan, and the Qing government did not recognize the treaty at that time, and also disposed of Yishan.
On November 11, 1860, the Soviet Union took advantage of the defeat of the Opium War to force the Qing government to sign the "Beijing Treaty" again, which forced the Qing government to recognize the "Aihui Treaty" and assign to the Soviet Union more than 400,000 square kilometers of land east of the Ussuri River, which was stipulated in the "Aihui Treaty" to be jointly administered by China and Russia. The treaty also defined China's three inner lakes, Zaisan Lake, Temur Lake, and Balkhash Lake, as boundary lakes, thus pushing the Sino-Soviet border much closer to China. As a result of the treaty, China lost more than 1 million square kilometers of territory.
The Treaties of Brunschi, Kyakhta, and Aihui brought the entire of Chinese Eastern Siberia (about 2 million square kilometers) to the Soviet Union.
There are also the "Ili Treaty", "Ili Boundary Treaty", "Kashgar Boundary Treaty", "Mongolian-Russian Reconciliation Treaty", etc., all of which are land cession compensation, and each treaty is a history of humiliating blood and tears, and every Chinese should not forget these histories.
Molotov's expression was undoubtedly so angry that he was speechless, but Jiang Haoran didn't hear it, his neck tilted, and he said coldly: "What, do you think it's too much?" As a diplomat of the Soviet Union, you should know the history of the Soviet Union's plundering of China, and you should also know that I am about to take back less than a quarter of what you plundered, so my request is by no means excessive. ”
Molotov was almost crying, and said with a bitter face: "Commander-in-Chief Chiang, we are allies, you should not ...... at this time."
"Don't mention the word 'Allied' to me." Jiang Haoran raised his palm and unceremoniously interrupted Molotov's words, saying: "No one is a fool, what 'Allied Forces', everything is the supremacy of interests, and without this prerequisite, no one will help anyone for free?" You Soviet Union helped us in the early stage, but you didn't cheat us less, but at least you haven't directly stabbed us in the back, but in the current 'Trans-Siberian Railway Incident', you simply want to kill us, so you are no longer qualified to bargain with me. ”
Molotov was embarrassed and indignant, but he still restrained his emotions and said in a calm tone as much as possible: "General Chiang, aren't you afraid that after the fall of the Soviet Union, you will become the next Soviet Union?" Lips and teeth are cold, General Jiang! ”
"Humph!" Jiang Haoran snorted coldly and said, "When the little devil invaded us, we all reached the time of life and death, have you considered dying with cold lips and teeth?" Now that the Germans are invading you, you are making us think about the death of cold lips and teeth, is it too dramatic? I can also tell you that Germany and Japan may have the ability to destroy the USSR, but he wants to destroy China? With me Jiang Haoran here, they will never be possible, if you don't believe it, you can wait and see. ”
Molotov was completely speechless, his face was suffocated into the color of pig liver, but he was helpless, Jiang Haoran's strength was not the first time he had appreciated, he wanted to wait and see, but could he afford to "stay"?
Such a big matter is far from being something that he can decide as a foreign minister, even if it is reported to Stalin, I am afraid it is not something he can decide with a word.
In view of the seriousness and urgency of the situation, Molotov did not stay too long, and hurriedly left the Wuhan camp with Jiang Haoran's conditions.
Jiang Haoran was also in a hurry to go to Chittagong, and happened to send Molotov all the way to the airport.
At the moment of parting, Jiang Haoran didn't seem to be as aggressive as in the headquarters, and shook hands with Molotov very politely to say goodbye, cherishing each other, like a pair of old friends with deep feelings.
