Section 163: The End of Lord Angus

Everyone was stunned when three dragon eggs were placed on the table, three oval-shaped eggs with gray-green skins and snake-like scales.

"Is this a dragon egg?" Lord Angus stepped forward and asked after a closer look.

"That's right." Edward nodded, worried as he watched the reaction of Lord Angus and the other mountain warriors.

"This dragon egg~~." Lord Angus held a dragon egg in both hands, his eyes full of doubts, but no one had ever seen such a legendary creature.

"It's like three stones." Lord Angus's younger brother also stepped forward curiously, and he touched the other two dragon eggs with his hand, and the cold touch made him feel like he was touching a stone.

"How can you prove that this is a dragon egg?" Lord Angus looked up and said to Edward.

"If you dare to deceive us, I'll stick your head out of the house." Lord Angus's younger brother drew a long dagger and slammed it into the wooden table, speaking to Edward and Stukov.

"Dragon eggs are said to hatch into young dragons when placed in the fire, and when the young dragons hatch successfully, as long as they can grow smoothly, they will become dragons after seven years." Edward smiled as he said to Lord Angus and his brother.

"Hatching dragons?" Lord Angus refocused his gaze on the dragon egg, the delicate scales resembling the body of a dragon, as if a baby dragon was about to burst out of its shell.

"Lord, don't take these Mega Man words." Lord Angus's younger brother walked up to the lord and said to his brother.

"You don't have to trust us, because it's a gift for the other lords." Stukov stepped forward and put his hand on the dragon eggs, which he was about to take.

"Down, these are already my things." Lord Angus stood up angrily, and he stopped Stukov as he spoke.

Edward hurriedly stopped Stukov, Lord Angus was satisfied with the three dragon eggs placed beside him, the banquet resumed, and everything seemed to be back to normal again, but Edward and Stukov had no intention of drinking.

"Hmm, dragon, dragon." Lord Angus was drunk, and he staggered to his feet, holding the three dragon eggs tightly in his arms, which now seemed to be his most precious treasures.

"Is this a real dragon egg?" At this time, the people at the banquet also focused their eyes on the dragon egg, and they were all curious about whether this was a real dragon egg and whether it could hatch a dragon.

"Of course it's true." Lord Angus waved his hand and shook it, as if he had already dreamed of owning a dragon and establishing his own kingdom.

"But no matter how we look at it, it's a pile of stones." The warriors in the mountains were straight-up people, and they laughed and thought it was just a legend, and Bruce was just using a pile of stones to coax the lords.

"Hmph, dragon eggs will hatch in the fire, and you will have the privilege of seeing the dragon born with your own eyes today." Enraged by the ridicule of his men, Lord Angus staggered to the campfire in his arms, holding three dragon eggs, where the tongs were bubbling and filled with boiled wild boar soup.

The two mountain warriors removed the tongs, and the lord of Angus triumphantly threw the dragon egg on it, Edward and Stukov did not take their eyes off for a moment, and when they saw the dragon egg thrown in the fire, all eyes in the room were focused on it, and the two quietly stood up, stepped over the body of the drunken man on the ground, and slipped out.

"What do you do?" As the two of them reached the door, a warrior from the mountains who was guarding outside the door looked at them and asked.

"If you drink too much, let's go pee." Edward hurriedly said that people always drink freely during the banquet, and it is normal to come out in the middle of the banquet to solve it in the wild.

"Don't run far, it's over there." The guards did not suspect that there was a wooden fence and patrolling night watchmen outside the stockade, and it was difficult for Edward and Stukov to escape.

Edward and Stukov walked down the hillside of the house, pretending to be careless, but walking quickly, as far away as they could, gasping against the wall as they ran behind a house.

"Why hasn't there been any movement, has the Baron's secret weapon failed?" Edward leaned against the wall, and he asked Stukov in confusion.

"No, you've heard about the power of this weapon during the siege of Glinton." Stukov said to Edward.

"It's just that I don't know if wrapping clay on the outside and carving it like that will still work?" When Edward saw the three weapons that were packaged as dragon eggs, he thought that they were really dragon eggs that Bruce had captured from Jeffrey's castle, and the delicate scales and patterns of scales, and gray-green with a little bit of bright colors, it was really incredible.

"Ping~~, boom~~." As the two spoke, a loud voice came from the direction of the lord's house, followed by a burst of fire, and the screams and clamor of the people pierced the silence.

"Uh-huh." Edward and Stukov buried their heads almost between their legs, the sound of thunder exploding in their ears like thunder in the sky, and a powerful wave crashed overhead, and when they finally came to their senses, they found the roof thatch burning behind them.

"Damn it, it's so powerful." Stukov staggered to his feet, and by this time the house of the lord of the Angus family had been reduced to ruins and pillars of fire, and sawdust had fallen from the sky.

"Ping-pong, ~~~." Edward and Stukov helped each other towards the lord's house, when a black ball-shaped object fell and rolled in front of them.

"It's the younger brother of Lord Angus." Stukov looked at what rolled to his feet, it was the head of the brother of Lord Angus, his hair still smoking.

"It looks like the problem has been solved." Edward shrugged his shoulders and looked at the whole village in chaos, the main figures of the Angus family had died in the house, and all that remained were ordinary people and serfs.

"Aren't you fainting blood?" Stukov glanced at Edward, who was standing beside him, and asked him in confusion.

"I faint blood, but I don't faint the body." Edward said to Stukov.

In front of the two of them, the house of the Angus family was on fire, and the frightened Angus people ran around like frightened little animals, and the old men knelt on the ground and prayed, believing that the lord had angered the gods and that such a calamity would befall them.
