Chapter 10: The Devil in the Mill
On the way back to the Grande House, Zach turned east on a whim, and as the owner of the [Grande Funeral House], his attitude towards the mill was almost free-range.
Madison has been completely disappointed in this boss, and has not even bothered to write a work report recently, why, because Zach will not read it! Madison does not know how many times he has reported the price of raw materials purchased by the mill, and hopes that the big boss can solve it, but the result?
As a result, the big boss not only did not solve anything, but instead brought a loss-making business - the cooperation of the prison.
"If you don't have anything to do, go to bed!" Zach had just stopped the car when he heard Madison's roar coming from the mill.
Zach walked into the mill with curiosity.
"Sleep?" said an unfamiliar voice, "It's so hard for me!How many years! How many years have I finally had a body again, but you let me sleep?'s waste!"
Zach walked into the mill, and several people were lying on the ground, their overalls with the Grande House printed on them were torn, and there was a faint stain of blood on his face with his eyes closed, which matched the blood on his clenched fists. The faint heaving of their chests meant that they were all alive, but they had fainted due to force majeure.
"What's going on?" Zach frowned and looked at the two men arguing at the innermost.
"Ahh
A black shadow streaked across the light, and the demon approached Zack, his hand touching Zack's face, "What a beautiful face!" His hand lifted Zack's arm, "What a perfect body!" He lifted Zack's fingers above his head and spun around the vampire's raised arm in a ridiculous position.
"Let me see!" he nervously pressed Zach's face, his dark eyes staring at those light green eyes, "Those eyes of charm that manipulate people's hearts, let me see!"
Zach tilted his head, past the demon blocking his vision, and looked at a dejected Madison, "So this guy was sent by Crowley." β
Before Madison could answer, the demon almost lying on top of the vampire was already screaming excitedly, "Yes! Yes! That's me! Leon!"
"All right, Leon. Zach looked at the guy in front of him, "You're too close to me." β
Leon stepped back nimbly, the corners of his mouth almost cracking to his ears, and he bent down, standard and ancient etiquette, "You can't understand my excitement right now!"
Zach straightened out his clothes that had been messed up by Leon and looked around, where there were obvious signs of a fight, and even Madison's own clothes were disheveled, and his face was blue and purple.
As a boss, Zach came to inspect the work of his subordinates for the first time, and when he saw such a scene, he was obviously a little unhappy, "What happened?"
Madison's resentment seemed to be mobilized again, his eyes widened, and he stared at Leon who looked admiring Zach, "Why don't you ask him!
In Madison's angry accusations, Zach probably understood what was going on. It was a small gamble to pass the time, because there was a demon next to the instigation, and the mill employees, who were happy to get along, started a scuffle.
The outcome of the melee is not the purpose of the demon, the process is what the demon needs. From 'I see you've hidden the dice!' to 'Don't think I don't know you have a card in your sleeve!' to 'You're a--trick!' to 'Just like your old man, you're a cheap hand!' to 'Your mouth stinks like your mother!' to 'Your sister is a cow!' to ......
The living may not care about how the final decision on the soul belongs, but this bit by bit will accumulate and become the key to the final decision.
Zach looked at Leon, who seemed to be satisfied with his 'actions', "I should have Crowley replaced, you look like a troublemaker." β
Leon's eyes widened, then he moved to Zack's side with a grin, "What's the matter? I'm not going to let them really have an accident, you see, when they wake up, maybe they won't remember what happened!" His hand pulled at Zack's sleeve like a flattering little girl.
Zach frowned and slapped Leon's outstretched hand. The crimson imprint was in the pupils, and instead of spreading, it gathered in the center of the eyes, which made the vampire's eyes look even more terrifying under the combination of green and red.
Leon took a few steps back, the smile on his face disappearing, and his dark eyes squinted at the vampire.
After a few moments, the darkness converged, the demon's eyes returned to normal, and his expression was not as crazy as before, "This will not happen again, Mr. Zachary Grande. β
Zach nodded, the red in his eyes gone, and looked at Madison, gesturing his chin to the office.
As the two enter the office, Leon, the demon sent by Crowley to station in the mill, seems to have discovered a new 'toy' - Daniel the Phantom.
He regained his previous madness, "Oh my God, a phantom man!" and he rushed back to the bewildered Daniel, and ridiculously jumped around Daniel, waving his hands in the void air, "See?!These flowing *, these beautiful rays of light produced by the human heart! They surround you! Oh! a phantom man! the most beautiful species in the world!"
Zach glanced at a nervous Leon and closed the office door.
Madison's office was very simple, with an iron desk with a paper jiΓ n, a telephone, a cup, and a pen holder, which were gone. Even the chair was made of rough iron, and when Zach sat down, there was a squeaky sound of metal load-bearing.
Zach smiled and looked around, finally at Maddison, whose face was bruised, "You're too cautious, too." β
Iron works wonders for Earthbound Spirits. Madison's dΓ©cor is not just about his personal simplicity, but also about practicality. As for why things look rough, it's the boss who doesn't care about it. Until now, the mill has almost only managed to break even.
Madison shook his head helplessly, looked at his boss, and drooped his eyes, "Sir, is there anything going on today?"
Zach blinked, and the employee seemed to be very motivated, "Nothing, just come and see what you're doing." β
Madison casually pulled the text in front of the table and pushed it in front of Zack, "That's all." β
Zach frowned as he looked at the scattered pieces of paper in front of him, all of which were ordinary funeral rites. Although Zach did not ask Maddison to hand over the work report with both hands, such an attitude was not too loose.
"Is there anything wrong with you?" Zach looked up at Madison, who looked impatient.
"Nope. Madison tilted his head back and sat down in his chair, his gaze drifting to no avail, "I'm fine, and the mill is fine." Everything is very good, thank you sir for your concern. β
Zach raised an eyebrow, is this guy having a temper?
Yes, I am.
