Chapter 336: Iwami Silver Mountain
Chapter 336: Iwami Silver Mountain
When the villagers saw that a monk like Taiqin had sworn a poisonous oath, they believed him. Everyone paid tribute to Tai Qin, saying that they would obey Tai Qin's arrangement and follow him to live a life.
Tai Qin smiled and said, "Let's all go back and pack your things, you only bring some clothes and water bottles, dishes and chopsticks, and throw away the rest of your belongings." There are already houses and some daily necessities for everyone on the island, so don't bring clumsy furniture and other things. ”
Everyone agreed to come down and went back to clean up one after another.
"Haha, where are you three stinky boys hiding? Don't let Lao Tzu catch you. If I let Lao Tzu catch it, I will have to swell your ass! ”
Everyone was busy, and Zhao Zizhong heard Du Dalei's voice. When he looked back, he saw that Du Dalei had a black cloth over his eyes, and he was groping on a piece of grass. The three boys next to him hid behind the bushes, covering their mouths and not daring to make a sound.
It turned out that Du Dalei was bored, so he played hide and seek with the three boys. Zhao Zizhong shook his head, this guy is still like a child who hasn't grown up, it's really worry-free.
Du Dalei squatted on the ground, secretly lifted the black cloth on his face a little, and then quickly glanced around with the corner of his eye, and he saw the three boys hiding behind the bushes.
He pretended to be casual and continued to fumble around. The three boys didn't notice Du Dalei's small movements, and lay behind the bushes, eating and laughing, proud that Du Dalei couldn't find them.
Zhao Zizhong's childlike heart suddenly rose, and he walked lightly behind the three boys and patted Tian Renfeng's shoulder.
Tian Renfeng looked back and almost didn't scream. Zhao Zizhong hurriedly covered his mouth and picked him up. Hu Yidao and Cheng Sangou also saw Zhao Zizhong, and they were a little confused.
Zhao Zizhong freed up one hand, pointed to a big stone next to him, and then slowly walked behind the stone with Tian Renfeng in his arms.
Zhao Zizhong put down Tian Renfeng, and then beckoned to Hu Yidao and Cheng Sangou. The two boys understood and crawled over lightly.
Zhao Zizhong motioned for them to hide behind the stones, and the three boys understood, and then they lay behind the stones, motionless.
Zhao Zi returned to the back of the bushes and squatted on the ground, waiting for Du Dalei to come and catch him.
Du Dalei continued to pretend to fumble around, and soon approached the bushes.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a person squatting behind the bushes, so he pounced, jumped to Zhao Zizhong's side, and hugged Zhao Zizhong.
"Hahaha, I've caught you kid, see where you run!"
Zhao Zizhong was silent and let Du Dalei hold him. Du Dalei triumphantly lifted the black cloth on his face, saw Zhao Zizhong with a smile on his face, and immediately shouted:
"Ahh Boss, why are you! Where are those three boys? ”
Zhao Zizhong smiled and said, "You kid cheated, don't let them dodge?" ”
Du Dalei quit: "Boss, why did I cheat?" What evidence do you have? ”
"You still don't admit it, I saw it all, you secretly took off the veil and saw them hiding here. Then I pretended to look around, and finally I didn't find this place? ”
Du Dalei was speechless, threw the black cloth to the ground depressedly, and shouted in his mouth:
"Don't play, don't play! Boss, I'm playing hide and seek with those three boys, what are you going to do? What a disappointment! ”
Zhao Zizhong smiled and said, "Okay, you go with me to do serious things, we have to hurry up and send the villagers to the boat as soon as possible, so that they can set off for Liuqiu." ”
Du Dalei had no choice but to follow Zhao Zizhong, and when they came to the entrance of the village, they saw that some villagers had already carried their burdens and dragged their families to wait here.
Zhao Zizhong found Zhai Xiaoshan and said to him: "You do this, as long as you gather about fifty people, send a team of guards, lead them to the dock, and let them board the ship." You don't have to go to the dock with a large group of people, it will be chaotic. ”
Zhai Xiaoshan agreed to come down and convey Zhao Zizhong's order.
Du Dalei saw Taiqin in the crowd, talking with some villagers, and smiled from time to time, with the demeanor of a high-ranking monk, which was basically the same as the usual style of a wine and meat monk.
Du Dalei whispered: "Boss, this time thanks to Monk Taiqin, otherwise the villagers wouldn't believe us at all. We're going to have a headache that way. ”
Zhao Zi nodded emphatically: "Yes, most of the people nowadays are illiterate, and they are very devout to Buddhism and other religions. A monk like Taiqin, who is well-known among the people, is just like the living Buddha in Tibet in later generations, and his appeal to the people is very strong. If we can take advantage of this, it will save a lot of effort. ”
"It seems that Taiqin recognizes us and will try his best to help us," Du Dalei said. If he uses his appeal in the Gangnam area to help us go all out to promote it, it will play a big role in spreading the reputation of Seven Seas. ”
Zhao Zizhong looked around and whispered: "Da Lei, now our strength is not strong enough, let's try to keep a low profile." We don't have to let Taiqin deliberately advertise, it's best to go with the flow. ”
Du Dalei understood: "I understand, now we are still at the stage of making a fortune in silence, and when we have the strength, everything will not be a problem." ”
Zhao Zizhong said: "Our top priority now is to make every effort to develop Taiwan. As long as we gain a firm foothold in Taiwan after several years of hard work, gain a population of 100,000, and train 10,000 elite soldiers, then no one will be afraid. The world is so big that it will be left to our brothers. ”
Du Dalei was very excited: "Boss, when we have 10,000 horses, I will take the fleet to Japan, destroy them, and then become the first Japanese governor, have a good time, hahaha!" ”
Zhao Zizhong was also happy, he patted Du Dalei on the back: "I support you, there is still an Iwami Silver Mountain in Japan waiting for us to dig it." If we don't go, in a few hundred years, Japan will be cheaper. ”
"Iwami Ginzan? What's that? Boss, tell me about it. ”
Zhao Zizhong pulled Du Dalei to a place where there was no one, and then whispered:
"Located in Ota City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, Iwami Ginzan was the largest silver mine in Japan in the late Warring States period and early Edo period, and at its peak from the 16th century to the first half of the 17th century, Japanese silver accounted for about one-third of the world's silver production, most of which was produced from Iwami Ginzan. At the beginning of the Edo period, it was called Sama Ginzan. Since then, silver mines have gradually dried up, and since the Meiji era, the mining of copper-bearing minerals has been the mainstay.
According to the book "The Old Records of Iwami Ginzan", as early as 1309, at the end of the Kamakura period, when Hiroyuki Ouchi, a daimyo of Zhou Defense Province, visited Iwami Province, he was inspired to discover silver while visiting the Hokuto Myomi Bodhisattva, which shows that there was already a certain degree of mining at this time.
Iwami Ginzan was officially mined thanks to Kamiya Toshisada, a merchant from Hakata, who was said to see mountains shining on the sea, and with the support of lord Ouchi Yoshiko and the help of Mishima Kiyoemon, the owner of Izumo Kunita Yi Village, who was subordinate to Ouchi Yoshiko, the owner of Mishima Kiyoemon, excavated an underground silver vein in March 1526.
After Yoshiko's death, his son Ouchi Yoshitaka succeeded to the throne in the early days, and because he was concentrating on running Kyushu, Iwami Ginzan was once captured by the local lord Ogasawara Nataka.
In 1533, it was recaptured by the Ouchi clan and built Yamabuki Castle as a stronghold to protect Iwami Ginzan. In August of the same year, Kamiya recruited craftsmen from Hakata and successfully introduced the ash blowing method, a refining technique learned from China, for the first time, which greatly increased the production of silver.
After the production of Iwami Ginzan increased, the surrounding daimyo Ouchi Yoshiko, Ouchi Yoshitaka father and son, Niko Sukuhisa, Niko Haruhisa, and Mori Moto fought for the dominance of the Silver Mine.
In 1537, the Izumo Province daimyo Niko captured Iwami Ginzan for a long time, and two years later the Ouchi clan regained control of Ginzan, and two years later, the Niko clan and the Iwami Ogasawara clan seized Iwami Ginzan again, and after that, the two families continued to fight for Ginzan.
After the death of Yoshitaka Ouchi, Mori Gen also joined the battle for Iwami Ginzan, and it was not until 1562 that the Niko family submitted to Mori Motosho, which ended in the victory of the Mori family. Motosho's son, Yoshikawa Motoharu, sent his retainers to Yamabuki Castle to manage the silver mines.
Later, in 1584, Mori Terumoto, the grandson of Motomori, surrendered to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Iwami Ginzan was transferred to the joint management of the Mori family and the retainers of the Toyotomi family, and became the main source of funds for Hideyoshi's later invasion of Korea during the Battle of Bunroku Keichanga. ”
Du Dalei said: "Toyotomi Hideyoshi? That dwarf monkey? During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, wasn't he the one who invaded Korea? ”
Zhao Zi nodded emphatically and said: "Yes, it is this Toyotomi Hideyoshi, he sent troops to invade Korea, fought several battles with the army of the Ming Dynasty, and almost wiped out Korea." If it weren't for the Ming Dynasty's increased investment in troops and materials, it would be really difficult to say whether the war would have been won or lost. ”
Zhao Zizhong continued: "After this war, the Ming Dynasty spent all the savings of the state treasury, causing many undesirable consequences. Because of the Korean Campaign, the vitality of the Li Chengliang family in Liaodong was greatly injured and they were unable to restrain Nurhachi, which caused the gradual rise of Nurhachi in the northeast and unified the Jurchen tribes. You must know what happened later, the Ming Dynasty was replaced by the Qing Dynasty. ”
Du Dalei said angrily: "Boss, it seems that we must destroy Little Japan!" Otherwise, we will be sorry for those compatriots who died in the War of Resistance! ”
Zhao Zi nodded emphatically: "Not only during the Anti-Japanese War, but also during the Mid-Ming Dynasty, the Sino-Japanese War, the Eight-Nation Alliance's War of Aggression against China, and the Russo-Japanese War, when did the Japanese not get involved?" No one has exact statistics on how many of our compatriots died.
Our brothers have come to this era and destroyed little Japan, which is our ultimate mission. If we can't, it's a few of us who are too incompetent! It's a waste of God for us to cross once! ”
